TAMPA (WFLA) — Six University of Tampa students are recovering after testing positive for COVID-19 after spring break, the school said. The university said one of the six students was tested at school after coming back from an international trip. The student is reportedly self-isolating off campus and has not been hospitalized. The other five students were traveling with other UT students during spring break before testing positive. Four of the five students returned to the campus after the break where they are self-isolating. None of the students have been hospitalized.

A South Carolina man is facing charges after authorities say he lied about having the new coronavirus, causing a business to shut down and creating panic in a school system. Jeffrey Travis Long, 31, of Inman, was arrested Thursday and charged with breach of peace and forgery, Spartanburg County Sheriff Chuck Wright said during a news conference.
