It has been determined that the wilderness does not provide adequate social isolation to adequately protect every American.

It seems we are in a rush to close everything, regardless of making a rational determination on whether there is a virus threat, without any clear willingness, nor a strategy for reopening.

This makes perfect sense. As you can see, Yogi and Ranger Smith were not following the 6 foot rule....

As I read it you can still use camp sites.

“READ THE ARTICLE!”

Duh! There is no article. The NPS site has the same thing that is posted in the thread preview. The park is “open” since a major road goes through it, but all other things are closed.

I have a little park i go to..i hardly ever see more than a dozen people there. Many days i might only see a couple people.
I am thinking it’s just a matter of time before it gets closed. They all ready have a notice about social distancing up.

Yeah, one of the reasons for going to the wilderness is to get away from it all. When the weather gets a little better, I am planning a walk in our park along Lake Michigan. People are usually scarce there and are easily-avoidable and I won’t have to touch anything but my own doorknob, so I expect I’ll be okay.

Yep... Got to keep us away from all those diseased trees...
Ain't government wonderful...
Maybe we should double the amount they steal in taxes to show how much we appreciate their leadership and decision skills...
