Governments and international bodies can no longer turn a blind eye to one of the “worst atrocities committed” in modern times, experts said—as the world’s first independent legal analysis of evidence regarding forced organ harvesting in China concluded that the grisly practice has continued unabated. An independent people’s tribunal, known as the China Tribunal, on March 1 released its full judgment after an 18-month investigation. Panel members reviewed written and oral evidence, including testimony from over 50 witnesses given over two public hearings in December 2018 and April 2019. Last June, the tribunal delivered its findings in London, concluding beyond...

The yield on 10-year Indonesian government bonds dropped more than 23 basis points to 6.637% - the sharpest drop in nearly nine months. They have fallen 41 basis points in two days, retracing most of a 45 basis point jump late last week. The yield on Singapore's 10-year paper fell 10 basis points to 1.352% for its sharpest drop in almost four years, while two-year yields fell as far as 12.7 basis points to their lowest since 2017. In a 5-4 decision, a divided U.S. Supreme Court ruled that foreigners who are in America illegally can be prosecuted for the crime of identity theft. While the ruling seems like a no brainer, the court was divided because the case involved the Immigration Control and Reform Act, which says any information provided on an I-9 work form can’t be used by law enforcement in any way — and that includes as evidence in a criminal case. “The Immigration Control and Reform Act (IRCA) makes it a federal crime to lie on the I-9 work authorization form, while limiting how...

After President Trump named Vice President Pence last week to lead the nation’s battle against the coronavirus, many in the media decried the choice because supposedly Mike Pence “doesn’t believe in science.” How could he? He’s a Christian. So the logic goes. They mock along the lines of: Maybe he just wants to pray the virus away. The late night comedian Jimmy Kimmel quipped, “Why is Mike Pence in charge? What is his plan to stop the virus, abstinence?” Writing for mediaite.com (2/26/20), Reed Richardson noted, “President Donald Trump’s decision to task Mike Pence with heading up the federal government’s...

In the 2016 presidential race, Donald Trump campaigned against the H-1B work visa program. He invited former IT workers at Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Inc., to speak at his rallies, some of whom had trained visa-holding replacements as a condition of their severance. In a debate in Miami, Trump called the H-1B visa program: unfair for our workers and said we should end it. As president, Trump didn't end the H-1B visa program, and he's made many unhappy over his efforts to reform it. Businesses are complaining about visa denials and delays in approvals. There is more enforcement, paperwork...

Corey Feldman wants the world to know: Pedophilia is “Hollywood’s biggest problem.” In an interview with the Guardian, the ’80s icon claims his long-awaited documentary will expose a child sex ring in which he and late actor Corey Haim were victims. Feldman, 48, who has teased potentially incriminating information for decades, says he plans to finally name the abusers of his “Lost Boys” co-star in the doc, tentatively titled “Truth: The Rape of the Two Coreys.” Corey Feldman says he is living in fear and has hired 24-hour protection ahead of the release of his new documentary that he says...

[Catholic Caucus] Porneia and Communion in the Hand There are many instances of Eucharistic typology in Scripture that can give us insight into the question of whether God favors receiving Communion in the hand or on the tongue. This question is profoundly connected with questions of modesty, chastity, and humility, giving us a new perspective on the connection between liturgical reform and the abuse crisis. The Last Supper The first thing to look at is JesusÂ’s own actions. Defenders of the practice of Communion in the hand cite JesusÂ’s words at the Last Supper, when, after blessing the bread, he says...

The Democrats’ sudden discovery of 77-year-old éminence grise Joe Biden has the electric feeling of Republicans settling on George H.W. Bush in 1992. (The Iowa Republican Party actually canceled the caucuses that year so as not to embarrass President Bush.) It’s Democrats convincing themselves in 2004 that John Kerry was the “safe” choice. Proposed Biden campaign slogan: OK, I Guess He’ll Do. This is good news for Trump. Bernie Sanders is his greatest nightmare. True, the media, the donors and the Democratic Party are convinced that Sanders is a sure loser -- just as, four years ago, Fox News, the...

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) picked up a delegate in American Samoa on Super Tuesday. This technically qualifies her to participate in the next Democratic debate in Phoenix. Arizona on March 15th. Will the DNC allow her to participate? At this point, the DNC probably doesn’t want to add candidates to the discussion. Naturally, they would want the field to narrow, but if they deny Gabbard a spot, the optics won’t be great.

As fears of a coronavirus pandemic sweep across the nation, Americans have been buying up face masks, hand sanitizer and oat milk at skyrocketing rates. Sales for medical face masks in the U.S. jumped 319% in the four-week period that ended on Feb. 22, according to data from the consumer research firm Nielsen. Household maintenance masks sales were similarly up 262% in that same period. Hand sanitizer sales spiked 73%, though Nielsen predicts that the demand for sanitizer hasn't even begun to peak. Sales of thermometers were up by 47%, and aerosol disinfectant purchases climbed 32%. The data also indicated...

[Catholic Caucus] Priests, bishop reveal rashness in banning Communion on tongue in response to coronavirus As a number of dioceses around the world begin to implement bans on Communion on the tongue, several clergymen and one lay group counter that Communion in the hand is the less hygienic option. St. Peter’s Basilica on November 3, 2008, Pope Benedict XVI distributes Holy Communion on the tongue to the kneeling faithful. March 4, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) — A number of Catholic priests, a bishop, and a lay group are challenging the argument that banning Holy Communion on the tongue in favor of...

Fierce feminist warrior Rashida Tlaib also made an appearance at today’s pro-abort rally outside the Supreme Court, where she once again demonstrated her skills as an orator: . . . “Yo yo, you know what, you’re so freakin' obsessed with what I decide to do with my body, maybe you shouldn’t even want to have sex with me!”

This year’s Munich Security Conference may go down in history as the COVID-19 viral super-spreader “event of the century," if not in all of recorded history. That’s because the Munich 2020 event took place from February Friday 14-Sunday 16, and Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif attended. Unknown to apparently all the high security-minded attendees, FM Zarif was likely carrying much more than the dark secret that the COVID-19 virus had already begun rampaging through the highest echelons of the Iranian government and society. FM Zarif , or one of his minions, was likely carrying the actual COVID-19, and infected who...

This article is a Scripture collection of New Testament verses for a very important word in the Bible: righteousness, or justice. The Greek word for righteousness or justice is called dikaiosuné, while the Hebrew word is tsedaqah. Like the related Greek and Hebrew words for righteous (or just), dikaios and tsaddiyq, (for which I've also put together Scripture collections, here and here, and which are italicized where they appear in verses here), dikaiosuné and tsedaqah appear hundreds of times in God's Word, and in a great many of its most important passages. New Testament verses which talk about righteousness or justice (dikaiosuné) Matthew 3:15 (and...
