President Trump said on Saturday that he is going to raise his global tariff to 15%, up from 10% he imposed on Friday, after the Supreme Court struck down a set of sweeping global tariffs.

Good. Make it 25 %. Trump is showing the world he’s not messing around.
I’m sure this is Trump trolling the Dem’s as he negotiated trade agreements with other countries at 10% and must adhere to those agreements.
If he thinks that higher tariffs will lead to Republican victory, I expect the higher tariffs will attempt to be implemented.
How are the tasseled shoe-wearing GOP’ers taking this news?
It’s all about selling your agenda. It’s not unusual for a sales and marketing scheme to use rebates for promoting a product line.
I would suggest President Trump bringing his sales and marketing team to promote his agenda instead of a deep state crew.
And maybe a nice tariff rebate check would go a long way.

Please stress that taxes are taxes and tariffs are tariffs.
You would hate it if Trump raised or didn’t raise raise tariffs.

Under the law Trump is using, 15% is the maximum, and Congress must approve within 150 days, or the tariffs come to an end.
I think this is also a message to the foreign influencers of the SC and the left that what they tried to undo through the courts is going to know cause them more pain.
I hope his SC attacks (I mean, really, who nominated Gorsuch and Barrett anyway?) don’t lead them to spite him on birthright citizenship.
Yaa, this is more a punishment message.
If they do, then is does not matter because that means they were never principled and not constitutionalists in the First place. If such a bias can be manipulated, then there is no point in placating them unless you want to bribe them more than whoever is currently bribing them.

Bump everyone up to 200% tariffs and then offer discounts to favorable partners.
