Alan Dershowitz, one of President Trump’s attorneys, defended himself on Sunday after sparking controversy with one of his arguments justifying the president’s pursuit of investigations in Ukraine. The former Harvard Law professor triggered a wave of backlash after appearing to argue that whatever a president does for reelection could be justified as part of the national interest. It fanned the flames of those who believed Mr. Trump’s actions regarding Ukraine was an abuse of power. Mr. Dershowitz explained on Fox News Sunday that his comments were “deliberately wrenched out of context” and that he was trying to explain there were...

Nobody escapes the racial prism through which Joy Reid sees virtually everything. Not even a gay, liberal Democrat like Pete Buttigieg. With Buttigieg on her show today, Reid displayed a tweet in which he had said America needs a president shaped by "heartland" values, not by the politics of Washington. Reid told him that she had received a lot of "not-positive" texts about the tweet, and that it sounds to many people "like a dog whistle for white voters."Get the rest of the story and view the video here.

Anyone who voted for more witnesses must vote for acquittal. A person is presumed innocent until proven guilty. If you need more evidence than the case has not been proven and you would have to vote for acquittal. Also, if you voted for more witnesses to make your decision - you are saying the house did not do their job.

Billionaire currency speculator George Soros says he plans to spend $1 billion to found a global university to combat climate change and burgeoning nationalism in the world, two things he claims in a recent speech are “threatening the survival of our civilization.” The preeminent funder of the activist left in the United States and a major contributor to the Democratic Party, the 89-year-old, Hungarian-born financier announced his ambitious new plan Jan. 23 at the annual globalist gathering of elite business leaders known as the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. Soros is an outspoken critic of President Donald Trump. This...

As Democrats are focused on impeaching President Donald Trump, his campaign manager, Brad Parscale, and the rest of the team are focused on victory come November. According to Parscale, the Democrats' sham impeachment process has energized the president's base and helped them fundraise. "[Impeachment is] bringing in so much money. The fundraising is out of this world. We raised $463 million last year, which is a record. The president is continuing to have a great fundraising month. Every metric we have shows the president up since this happened," Parscale told Fox News' Judge Jeanine Pirro. The Trump Victory Campaign and...

Thomas was “face-planting” on the floor because he was hypothermic, Assistant District Attorney Laura Newcombe said, citing audio recordings taken from an extensive home-security system in the house. In the recording, a child can be heard asking why Thomas cannot walk. “Because he’s hypothermic,” Pollina replied, according to Newcombe. “When you wash with cold water and it’s freezing out you become hypothermic.” Later, Pollina put the same question to Valva. “Do you know why he’s falling?” Pollina asked Valva about Thomas, Newcombe said, citing recordings. "Because he’s cold. Boo f–king hoo,” Valva callously responded, according to the prosecutor. When Pollina...

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) declined to comment on whether the House would subpoena former national security adviser John Bolton after the topic came up during an interview Sunday. CBS’s Margaret Brennan asked Schiff, the head House impeachment manager in President Trump's impeachment trial, if Bolton would be subpoenaed in the lower chamber following the Senate’s likely acquittal of Trump. “I don't want to comment to this point on what our plans may or may not be with respect to John Bolton,” Schiff said on "Face The Nation." “But I will say this: whether it's before – in testimony before the...

Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) on Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press” described President Donald Trump’s actions in dealing with Ukraine and the military aid authorized by Congress as “improper.” Alexander said, “Well, if you have eight witnesses who say someone left the scene of an accident, why do you need nine? The question for me was, do I need more evidence to conclude the president did what he did? And I concluded no.” He continued, “I think he shouldn’t have done it. I think it was wrong. Inappropriate was the way I’d say, improper, crossing the line. And then the...

One play. Five yards. A flag that wasn’t thrown. Seven years ago at the Super Bowl, history was made when a 49ers receiver, unable to break free from the prying hands of a harassing cornerback, could not grab a pass on fourth-and-goal that would have given San Francisco the go-ahead score late in the game against the Baltimore Ravens. The Niners lost that game 34-31 and were relegated to the forgettable list of very good NFL teams who came in second place. For the man who threw that pass, Colin Kaepernick, things have never been the same. The same could...

Someone broke into investigative reporter John Solomon’s car parked near the White House the night before the senate impeachment trial began. The thief stole John Solomon’s laptop which contained sensitive information on former Vice President Joe Biden and Ukraine. The break-in, which happened across from the White House’s Eisenhower Executive Office Building, was described as a “professional job” and authorities believe the individual(s) used a sophisticated electronic jamming device to open the car’s lock. “It’s a pretty professional job,” John Solomon told RCI of the break-in, “but it’s probably just a coincidence.” “It was probably just a street criminal searching...

DES MOINES, Iowa — Hillary Clinton is finding out what it's like to be on the long list of Democratic also-rans. The party has, for years, discarded losing presidential candidates such as George McGovern, Walter Mondale, and Michael Dukakis, among others — to the point that they're often treated as contagious diseases, seen at best as cautionary tales about how not to campaign for the White House. Fair or not, Clinton has, in many ways, had that dishonor bestowed on her. Having lost the 2016 election to President Trump in one of the biggest political upsets in American history, the...

President Trump went after “Mini Mike” Bloomberg in a series of tweets early Sunday morning and suggested the former New York mayor would need to stand on a box during a Democratic presidential debate. “Mini Mike is now negotiating both to get on the Democrat Primary debate stage, and to have the right to stand on boxes, or a lift, during the debates,” the president posted on his Twitter account in the last of three postings about 5-foot-8 Michael Bloomberg. “This is sometimes done, but really not fair!” Trump also takes a shot at Bloomberg’s stature during an interview with...

If you haven’t notice, the Bolsheviks are nervous. You heard it here on CD Media first — the tipping point against the communist agitators in our midst has finally arrived. It’s morning in America. Donald Trump will not be impeached, will be re-elected, and will continue to change America for the better. Brexit is a done deal. The American economy is roaring, China is fading into a morass of virus-infected zombies. Minorities are coming to Trump in droves. This has nothing to do with the color of your skin, and everything to do with your children’s future. Michael Johns ✔...

Former Vice President Joe Biden is only 5 points ahead of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in the latest poll of voters in South Carolina, the state where Biden had built a “firewall” of support among African-Americans. The Charleston Post and Courier reported Sunday: “Biden, who once led by as much as 31 percentage points in South Carolina, holds a 5-point edge over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.” The margin of error is 4 points. The new poll result raises the possibility that Sanders could sweep all four of the early primary states that vote in February. He leads in the latest...

Have you heard of the Freedom From Religion Foundation (FFRF)? They’re a herd of control freaks who dedicate their free time to harassing and bullying devout Christians out of public view and back into the closets whence they came. The modus operandi of these self-described "free thinkers" is as follows: A small town has a religious monument on public land. It's been there since the Battle of Brandywine. Of the town's 3,000 residents, 2,999 have no problem whatsoever with it. But a single perpetually offended milksop will whimper to the FFRF that its presence is somehow obliterating his constitutional rights....

Not because Trump is a Republican. Not because of his conservative policies. Not as a way to nullify the outcome of the 2016 election. But because he engaged in high crimes and misdemeanors of exactly the sort the founders had in mind when they created the impeachment process in the U.S. Constitution. The details of those crimes have been laid out a thousand times, but here they are again: Congress voted to give $391 million to Ukraine, an ally that was at war, defending itself against Russia. But Trump withheld that money in a clear violation — an illegal violation...

According to Reuters calculations based on official central bank data, 1.05 trillion yuan worth of reverse repos are set to mature on Monday, meaning that 150 billion yuan in net cash will be injected. China’s stock, currency and bond markets have all been closed since Jan. 23 and had been due to re-open last Friday. There will be no further delays to the reopening, the securities market regulator said in...
