NEW YORK, January 31, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) ― An LGBT activist priest has issued a new video in which he criticized the Catholic Church for dismissing employees who contract same-sex “marriages.” Fr. ".....I contend that Impeachment 2.0 was contingent upon Joe Biden running for office. Why? Because without Biden as a “candidate” the entire premise of the impeachment narrative: “president Donald Trump investigating his political opponent”, doesn’t exist.....".

BAGHDAD — Iraq’s president stepped in to appoint a new prime minister after the Parliament failed to do so for two months, leaving the country largely rudderless at a time of multiple political crises. The premier, Mohammed Tawfiq Allawi, is hardly a new face — he is a former member of Parliament and former minister of communications. But he is not tarnished by the corruption allegations that dog many other Iraqi political figures. In his first comments upon accepting the nomination, Mr. Allawi paid homage to the anti-government protesters who have been out on the streets since October and he...

Recently leaked video sheds light on one of the F-35’s possible weapons configurations, previously dubbed as “beast mode” in a Lockheed Martin infographic. The video, dating back to November of 2018, depicts an F-35 simultaneously firing five air-to-surface missiles against five test targets. At least one of the targets-- a light vehicle-- can be seen moving. Though it is presently unconfirmed where the trial took place and what kind of guided bomb was used, defense expert Ian D’Costa offered some clarifying insight to The Aviationist: “It’s an F-35 at NTTR (Nellis Test and Training Range), I could be wrong, but...

While the Democrat establishment tends to favor candidates like Joe Biden (D) and Bloomberg, Horwitz said it is “obvious” that the former vice president is “not all there anymore.” “He’s clearly not as sharp. He’s struggling to find his words. He is a man who is mentally deteriorating, and I think that’s a reason Bloomberg has jumped into the race,” he said, describing the billionaire as a “fallback for the establishment in case Biden truly breaks down mentally.” There is no comparison, Horwitz contends, between Sanders’ grassroots support and the establishment backing of Biden and Bloomberg. “If you just look...

There were 7,711 confirmed cases of the coronavirus in mainland China on Thursday. The number of confirmed cases has grown by about one-third per day for the past several days—a disturbingly steep growth curve for a highly contagious virus that is said to mutate rapidly. And that is already more than the 5,327 infections that happened during the SARS outbreak of 2003—also in China. Now there are also confirmed cases of coronavirus in every province of China and in 18 other countries, including the United States.Despite quarantining Wuhan, a city of 11 million people (by comparison, New York City has...

For more than a decade the media have told us House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is some kind of master strategist. Oh, yes, President Trump has met his match in Madam Pelosi… Me? Well, I’ve always found her to be something closer to an idiot. But even with my low opinion of her, never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined she would botch this impeachment as badly as she did. Seriously… wow. What I mean is, even when a particular strategy is a bad one, it is at least a strategy. You can at least see the strategy...

Dear friends, It's that time of the year when ALL America (from top to bottom) gathers together as a nation for Super Sunday! Tragically, millions of Americans will be missing out on and not attending the TRUE Super Sunday that transcends ALL time and ETERNITY! The original "Super Sunday", the day that the Savior of the world defeated Death and Hades (Sheol) and rose again from the grave ( Acts 2:22-36; 3:13-18; 4:10-12, 33; 5:29-32; 10:37-43; 13:27-37; 17:23, 30-32; 23:6; 24:14-16; 25:19; 26:68, 22-23, Rev. 1:18); is now the day of the week that His redeemed gather together to hear...

Source: Courtesy of Burgess Owens After the Civil War, Union General William T. Sherman issued Special Field Order No. 15, which confiscated 400,000 acres of Confederate land from Charleston, South Carolina all the way to the St. John's River in Florida. According to Sherman's order, every newly-freed African American family was to receive 40 acres and later down the line, a mule. Former NFL Raiders' safety Burgess Owens' grandfather was one of those people who received 40 acres and a mule after being freed from slavery. And of the things Owens' family learned early on is that anyone who...

NEW DELHI/BENGALURU (Reuters) - India on Saturday raised taxes on imports of goods such as electronic items, toys and furniture, aiming to give impetus to domestic manufacturing in a move that will hit Sweden's IKEA and other foreign firms. The measures, announced by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her 2020-21 budget, come amid criticism from some companies that India has increasingly resorted to protectionist rules that discriminate against foreign companies. Listing the new taxes, the government said they were in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "Make in India" programme aimed at promoting domestic industry. Taxes on imports of items...

Today I went to lunch with a new Ladies Who Lunch group. This group was socioeconomically upper middle class, aged 50 to 74 Caucasian, all married, some on second marriages, and all were parents and most were grandparents. These women spoke tenderly and lovingly with tears spilled at times, over their ....dogs. Not that I want to dismiss dogs, wonderful pets that they are, but the care that these 10 ladies and their spouses lavished on their pets was quite something to behold. They mentioned their children and grandchildren, but the pictures that were brought up on their phones to...

San Francisco 49ers @ Kansas City Chiefs Match up chart at the link. Did you know the Forty Niners have a better offense through the regular season than the Chiefs? And did you know the Forty Niners have a far more effective defense and running game than the Chiefs? On paper this should not be a close game, and should be quite boring as the 9ers chew up clock and keep the Chief's offense on the sidelines.

And so the Trump impeachment saga is coming to an end not with a bang but a whine. “We wuz robbed!” shriek the foot-stomping Democrats as they repeat their poll-tested mantra that the trial was rigged because no witnesses were called to testify. Consequently, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has decreed that the president will remain impeached forever, and his presidency and all that flows from it will be deemed unclean and illegitimate. Obviously, this latest failed effort to depose Trump has left the Democrats frustrated, bitterly disappointed and, quite possibly, wondering how their sure-fire impeachment gambit turned into such a...

What else would you expect from the man who accused Navy Seal Chris Kyle of being a "racist," and described his work as a sniper as "killing sprees?" The same man who suggested that a Palestinian stabber in Jerusalem was unarmed when shot by police despite footage clearly showing a knife in his hand? Joy Reid had the man in question, Ayman Mohyeldin, formerly of Al Jazeera, now co-host host of the Morning Joe lead-in show, on her MSNBC show today to comment on the Trump administration's proposed Israeli/Palestinian peace plan. Reid was highly skeptical/critical of the plan. When a...

DES MOINES, Iowa — Julia Caldwell played with the broken call box outside a gated two-story apartment complex and then joked about her next move. “If I break-and-enter you are going to think I am a crazy Bernie person,” she said with a laugh. The 29-year-old was among a slew of die-hard volunteers from across the country that scattered out across Iowa’s capital city on a warmer-than-typical day here to knock on doors as part of Sen. Bernard Sanders‘ final get out the vote efforts before the iconic caucuses. “It feels like he can actually win - it is insane,”...

Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton conceded on Friday that Americans must vote President Trump out in November if they want to remove him from office, effectively making the same argument Republicans have been making since the launch of the partisan impeachment process. “With their votes to make the American president accountable to no one, Republican senators have put the interests of one president over the interests of all Americans,” Clinton tweeted on Friday as the Senate voted down a motion to allow for additional witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial. “The only remedy now is for us all to vote...
