San Francisco 49ers @ Kansas City Chiefs
Match up chart at the link.
Did you know the Forty Niners have a better offense through the regular season than the Chiefs?
And did you know the Forty Niners have a far more effective defense and running game than the Chiefs?
On paper this should not be a close game, and should be quite boring as the 9ers chew up clock and keep the Chief's offense on the sidelines.

This Eagles fan is rooting for ex-Eagles coach Andy Reid and the comeback kidz, KC.
It should be a great game...the teams are fairly evenly matched.
JUST KIDDING. I figured I would get that out of the way before someone else says it.
LOL. Beat me to the punch by a minute.
And don't forget to comment about the article without reading it.
“the teams are fairly evenly matched”
Not really.
Is there any other way?
I will not be surprised to see massive holding and pass interference on the Chiefs team but an endless stream of critical-play penalties against the 49ers.
I hope this is not the case, and that a straight forward, great game is played with a legitimate winner arising from the field of combat. However, since the NFL is a fully woke institution, an honest outcome may be too much to expect.
If I recall correctly, the Chiefs had the 26th rated defense against the rush. Facing the number 2 rushing offense that practices ball control, I think this gives San Francisco an edge. Of course we are not taking into account officiating which has been suspect of late, so who knows?
“the Chiefs had the 26th rated defense against the rush. Facing the number 2 rushing offense that practices ball control”
True.
But for running backs from the line of scrimmage the 9ers had the best rushing offense in the NFL.
Lamar Jackson scrambles barely put Baltimore over the top for #1.
The 49s have the best offensive, and best defensive lines in football.
Bar none.
Both sides of the ball.
I despise officials who say “just let them play” as much as I despise plate umpires who have their own strike zones, regardless of what the rules say. People don’t pay that kind of money to watch crappy officiating.
my thoughts?
Mahomes is a winner
They forgot to throw a flag, and break for 15 commercials. :)

KC 37 - 9ers 24.
Cool.
I enjoyed his work with Thee Buckeyes.
27-13 Niners
And it won’t be that close.
Chiefs will go home broken and bruised, just like the rest of them.
Just don’t be looking for a lot of excitement unless you’re a fan of smashmouth football.
The Forty Niners keep the clock moving as they bring painful misery to their opponents.
Wishful thinking without the thinking.
