According to a report from The Hill, Graham said that if his Republican colleagues introduce a motion to subpoena Joe Biden’s son, he said “I vote against it.” The Hill report adds, “Graham’s opposition essentially kills the threat that Republicans have wielded in recent weeks that if Democrats win a motion to hear from additional witnesses such as former national security adviser John Bolton and acting White House chief of staff Mick Mulvaney, they will retaliate by subpoenaing the Bidens.” Graham claims that the impeachment trial, which centers around a call about the Bidens, is not the appropriate venue to...

Below is a full transcript of the remarks President Donald Trump made at the 2020 March for Life. His speech marked the first time a president has attended the March for Life and addressed it in person. Thank you very much and thank you, Jeanne. It is my honor to be the first president in history to attend the March for Life. [applause] We are here for a very simple reason: to defend the right of every child, born and unborn, to fulfill their God-given potential. [applause] For 47 years, Americans of all backgrounds have traveled from across the country...

Ugandan climate activist Vanessa Nakate has accused the media of racism after she was cropped out of a photograph taken with her white peers in Davos. In an emotional video statement, Ms Nakate said that for the first time in her life she "understood the definition of the word racism". Ms Nakate said "various" outlets, including the US' AP news agency, had removed her from photos. AP, which has since removed the cropped photo, said there was "no ill intent". "The photographer was trying to get a picture out fast under tight deadline and cropped it purely on composition grounds...

We’ve now witnessed seven Democratic debates ahead of the Iowa Caucus this February. At this point, it’s clear that Biden, Sanders, and Warren have a legitimate shot at becoming the nominee, whereas the rest will likely go home after the first few primaries. These frontrunners are now the subject of a growing dilemma that’s undermining party unity and raising questions about its future vision. Four years ago, the Republican Party had to grapple with the rise of Trump, who undermined Republican orthodoxy whenever it suited him. Democrats enjoyed watching Trump make a mockery of his fellow candidates and the entire...

The student had come home on holiday from Wuhan in China, a ministry of health statement said. He is being kept under surveillance and those in close contact with him were being investigated. The ministry said it was seeking health information from all passengers traveling from China...

The lesson of this impeachment so far for President Donald Trump and his successors is that there are major strategic and tactical advantages to simply refusing to send witnesses and documents to Congress. Not only has the president benefited from blocking the evidence itself, but his defenders have argued - compellingly in the minds of some observers - that the House Democrats' case against him on both articles of impeachment is weaker because they did not wait to see if courts would compel testimony and the production of documents at issue. But it's not clear that the president, who has...

President Trump on Friday became the first sitting president to address the annual March for Life rally in Washington, appealing to the anti-abortion movement with a call to protect the sanctity of life while accusing Democrats of becoming more "radical" on the issue. Trump, who for years was pro-choice, has since embraced a pro-life position and made clear on Friday that he plans to continue that agenda as he seeks reelection. Underscoring Trump's stance, his administration hours earlier moved to challenge California over a rule that mandates insurance plans cover elective abortion. "It is my profound honor to be the...

The impeachment coup shows how desperate the Dems are. Their “witch hunt” is destined for failure. Yesterday the Democrats proposed an amendment on trial procedures and after hours of debating, it was brought to a vote and quickly slapped down. President Trump won a Senate vote on the procedures to follow for the rest of the trial. They know that this “witch hunt” will not change anything, so they use the spotlight to create media fuzz by using lies! Today on the Senate floor, Democrat Rep and impeachment manager compared President Trump to terrorists who attacked America on 9/11 and...

PARIS (AP) — France on Friday announced two confirmed cases of the deadly new virus from China, the first reported in Europe, and the country’s health minister said new cases were likely to follow. Health Minister Agnes Buzyn said both of the sickened people had traveled to China. They were hospitalized, in isolation, one in Paris, the other in the southwestern city of Bordeaux. In part because of Europe’s open borders, the minister said she expects more cases. “We see how difficult it is in today’s world to close the frontiers. In reality, it’s not possible,” she said “We have...

The second person was in hospital in Paris and had also travelled to China but little more is known about them.

here are many books, TV shows, and movies about once-revered FBI agents portaying them as heroes. But after revelations concerning Donald Trump, Richard Jewell (accused of the Atlanta Olympic bombing), and well-respected journalist Sharyl Attkisson, people might be reconsidering. Maybe FBI should stand for Fear, Beware, and Intimidate, while DoJ, the parent company, should stand for Department to Obstruct Justice. Granted, many do their jobs well, but the leaders at the top are definitely suspect to having an agenda. American Thinker had the privilege of interviewing Sharyl Attkisson, a whistleblower of sorts, about her reaction to the current climate regarding...

The George Washington University Law School professor blasted Democrats during an appearance on CBS News for their second article of impeachment charging Trump with obstruction of Congress.

Hillary claimed that 17 national security agencies said that Russia interfered with our elections and then she accused Trump of colluding with the Russians and actually hacked into her computer and published her emails (apparently without the infamous 30,000 missing emails). And that started a firestorm that engulfed the entire democrat party and the entire deep state federal behemoth including the entire U.S. intelligence community, the CIA, FBI, DOJ, State dept, etc, etc, etc, and led to three years of [illegal] surveillance, bogus investigations and a sham impeachment attempt. And now Schiff accuses the president of not trusting his own...

As the drama of Harry and Meghan unfolds, it becomes ever clearer that Harry is a figure not of tragedy, but of self-interested hypocrisy. The prince is not only dull, but the cause of dullness in others, more a figure of betrayal than of sacrifice. The psycho-drama of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex is one of spoiled individuals shedding crocodile tears over their fate. In his final speech on January 18, 2020 in London, Harry delivered what was in essence an address about himself, mentioning as always the impact of his mother Diana on him but never mentioning his...

CNN political analyst Joe Lockhart experienced backlash Wednesday after he posted a “convo between two Republican Senators” on Twitter that he later claimed was “satire.” “Overheard convo between two Republican Senators who only watch Fox News,” Lockhart, a former White House press secretary under former President Bill Clinton, wrote during Wednesday’s impeachment hearings. “‘[I]s this stuff real? I haven’t heard any of this before. I thought it was all about a server. If half the stuff Schiff is saying is true, we’re up shit’s creek. Hope the White House has exculpatory evidence.'” Minutes later, Lockhart tweeted that he had “made...

Republican Sen. Marsha Blackburn doubled down on accusation she lobbed against Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman Thursday, alleging he's the whistleblower’s handler who leaked the July 25 call between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelensky—despite his attorney accusing her of “slander” and “defamatory tweets.” “Adam Schiff is hailing Alexander Vindman as an American patriot. How patriotic is it to badmouth and ridicule our great nation in front of Russia, America’s greatest enemy?” her Twitter account posted in response. “Alexander Vindman broke the chain of command and leaked the contents of the President’s July 25th phone call to his pal, the “whistleblower.”...
