Both of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's children are not "working royals", or members of the royal family who perform public engagements full-time, like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The distinction also means she no longer received full-time security as of 2011. Instead, Princess Beatrice has used her BA in History from Goldsmiths to work in finance and consulting. Princess Eugenie used her art history...

Chillier Relations between the Vatican and Iran, Even before the Killing of Suleimani Six days after the killing in Baghdad of Iranian general Qassem Suleimani (in the photo, with Ayatollah Ali Khamenei), there was great anticipation over what Francis would say in the traditional beginning of the year speech to the diplomatic corps. The pope expressed himself in this regard with these words, revisiting what he said before at the Angelus of January 5:“Particularly troubling are the signals coming from the entire region [of the Middle East] following the heightening of tensions between Iran and the United States, which risk above...

As PJM’s Matt Margolis noted Wednesday, that paragon of patriotism Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-Global Islamic Umma) “was seen laughing and joking around during a House Progressive Caucus press conference about Iran at the same time Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee was talking about U.S. casualties in Iraq. In addition to laughing, at one point, Omar can be seen talking to Rep. Rashida Tlaib behind her, and appears to be joking and smiling, even when she turns back towards the camera.” But Omar wasn’t nearly as amused when, as Fox News reported Friday, “a northern Minnesota county on Tuesday night opted to...

The Department of Justice doesn't want the Supreme Court to fast-track a case that could result in Obamacare being thrown out ahead of the presidential election, despite its position that the healthcare law should be abolished. If the court agrees with the Trump administration, then President Trump and Republicans will be spared the possibility of having to come up with an Obamacare replacement in the middle of campaigning. ...

The contractors are recruited by a private military group known as Wagner Group whose members are mostly ex-service personnel. The Russian state denies it uses mercenaries abroad. Despite the drubbing that marijuana stocks took in 2019, it was still a year filled with cannabis firsts. We witnessed Canada become the first industrialized country to launch derivative pot products and watched Illinois do what New Jersey and New York failed to do -- legalize recreational weed while also passing an expungement clause for those people with previous cannabis possession or use convictions. The current year also looks as if it'll be filled with marijuana milestones. For instance, Mexico should become the third country in the world to give adult-use cannabis the green light by no later than the...
