With the Republican-majority Senate preparing to take up his impeachment trial next week, President Trump said Saturday that Americans want Congress to “move on to other things.”
“Now the Radical Left, Do Nothing Democrats, are asking @senatemajldr Mitch McConnell to do the job that they were unable to do,” Mr. Trump tweeted. “They proved NOTHING but my total innocence in the House, despite the most unfair & biased hearings in the history of Congress. Now they demand fairness!”
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Friday she’s finally ready to send the two articles of impeachment to the Senate next week for a trial. Mr. McConnell, Kentucky Republican, has enough votes to start a trial without first addressing Democrats’ demand for witnesses.
“New polling shows that the totally partisan Impeachment Hoax is going nowhere,” Mr. Trump said. “A vast majority want the Do Nothing Democrats to move on to other things now!”
He added, “Nancy Pelosi will go down as the absolute worst Speaker of the House in U.S. history!”

Someone should put together a GIF of the number of people who were murdered in Democrat run cities while the Democrats have spent the last three years screaming “Russia, Russia, Russia”, “Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine”, and “Impeach, Impeach, Impeach”.
With Chief Justice Roberts presiding and the likes of Susan Collins, Mitt Romney and Lisa Murkowski, I will not feel comfortable until this is all over and President fully exonerated.

In some deluded liberal minds President Trump is about to be arrested and marched off to jail because of impeachment. It should happen any minute (they think.)
I read if they Senate acquits DJT he gets 2 more terms. That ought to shut up the dems.

The thing saving President Trump (and US) is that McConnell, Cornyn and Graham are all up for election this year and they know if they throw Trump out they will be thrown out, too.
Not saying they won’t turn it into a circus, just that they will end up acquitting.
Next “snag” - nobody will accept the job of being a manager to take the “case” to the Senate...
