What Prince Andrew's daughters Eugenie and Beatrice do for a living
Good Housekeeping ^ | Jan 2020 | Caroline Picard

Posted on 01/11/2020 1:45:00 PM PST by CondoleezzaProtege

Both of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's children are not "working royals", or members of the royal family who perform public engagements full-time, like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. So although Princess Beatrice still attends events like Royal Ascot and Trooping the Color, she has no obligation or intention to match the 507 engagements Prince Charles conducted last year as the future king. The distinction also means she no longer received full-time security as of 2011.

Instead, Princess Beatrice has used her BA in History from Goldsmiths to work in finance and consulting.

Princess Eugenie used her art history and English literature degrees from Newcastle University to first work for an online auction firm before becoming a director at the London art gallery Hauser & Wirth.

When you remove all the sensationalism and drama from the discussion surrounding the Sussex couple's wish to keep one foot in and one foot outside the monarchy, there is clearly precedent set by the other, more minor royals of the family...And Prince Harry has clearly contributed far more to the monarchy than his (disgraced) uncle Andrew has...

It seems like the majority of Americans, including Freepers, would be on the loyalist side, if the Revolutionary War were today. Shame.

Its a problem for the Brits.
Most Americans only learn about these weirdos on slow news days. Well, and the people (whomever they are, nobody admits to it) that buy those magazines at the end of the grocery checkout.

As far as I’m concerned England may keep Markle and send us Princess Eugenie.

Not really. It's just mildly interesting celebrity soap opera material. Also, being conservative, Freepers are all for maintaining traditions. As long as it annoys other people, that is.

If the Royals looked like Tulsi they would.

Prince Harry served in some of the most dangerous battlefields of Afghanistan and his devoted much of his life to serving wounded veterans.

Given the recent news that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to remove themselves as "senior" members of the royal family

Interesting that they refer to them separately.

Meghan MarkyMark just came up short and won't play second fiddle to anyone.

She is a true POS and leading Red to a long walk on a short pier.

Andrew swore he couldn’t have been doin’ the hanky-panky with Epstein’s underaged gal because he was getting pizza with Beatrice that evening so many years ago. No kidding. Pizza.

Andrew also invited Epstein, Maxwell and Weinstein to Beatrice’s 18th birthday party. Who is he to invite anyone to her party, much less sicko pervs.

Wow, they’re toiling away at the sort of “jobs” one normally sees filled by trust find kids and bored housewives here, while still receiving an allowance from dad. However do they manage.

Princess Beatrice has used her BA in History from Goldsmiths to work in finance and consulting.

Because when I want financial advice I always head straight towards historians. Honestly, it sounds like her employment is Hunter Biden-esque.

That struck me too. She is not using her degree in history doing that sort of work. And it’s likely strings were pulled, to get her that job in a finance field, without the requisite degree.

Agree completely.

But I think Beatrice is quite devoted to her grandmother.

The jobs they have aren’t much different than the ones that American children with wealthy parents often have.

If I’m a Brit, I would be favor in phasing out the Royal family. Queen Elizabeth II should be the last “ruling monarch”. If not her, then Prince William. He seems like a decent lad.
