In 2016, Hillary Clinton presidential candidate hired an ex-intelligence officer and foreign national, British subject Christopher Steele, to use Russian sources to find dirt (“opposition research”) on her then political opponent Donald Trump. So much for the worry about “foreign interference” in U.S. elections. The public would take years to learn of the funding sources of Steele, because Clinton camouflaged her role through three firewalls: the Democratic National Committee; the Perkins-Coie legal firm; and Glenn Simpson’s Fusion GPS opposition-research firm. snip . . . The Steele dossier resembles some sort of bacillus. Anyone who put currency into it was infected,...

Morning "For me to live is Christ." Philippians 1:21 The believer did not always live to Christ. He began to do so when God the Holy Spirit convinced him of sin, and when by grace he was brought to see the dying Saviour making a propitiation for his guilt. From the moment of the new and celestial birth the man begins to live to Christ. Jesus is to believers the one pearl of great price, for whom we are willing to part with all that we have. He has so completely won our love, that it beats alone for him;...

In the pre-dawn hours of 30 December, Ensign Frank M. "Fuzzy" Fisler and his crew made their way through a blacked-out Pearl Harbor to the seaplane base. Their briefed flight plan was to take their PBY-5 Catalina out 500 miles on a heading of 258 degrees, turn right 90 degrees and fly 50 miles, then head home. Weather was forecasted to be rough with a winter storm passing through, churning up 30 to 40-foot seas. [...] By 1300 hours, the crew had finished their 50-mile cross-leg and made their turn for home when one of the men saw a smoke...

A speaker on Iranian state television during the funeral of Iranian terror chief Qasem Soleimani on Sunday attempted to offer an $80 million bounty for President Donald Trump – but told the audience 80 million Muslims each had to pitch in $1 to cover the cost. Iran is home to an estimated 80 million people. The speaker appeared to be making the inspirational point that, together, Iranians could do anything, including prompt the assassination of the President of the United States. London-based Iranian opposition journalist M. Hanif Jazayeri first circulated the clip with English subtitles on Twitter, which appeared to...

Fifteen years after the U.S. invaded Iraq to turn Saddam Hussein's dictatorship into a beacon of democracy, Iraq's Parliament, amid shouts of "Death to America!" voted to expel all U.S. troops from the country. Though non-binding, the expulsion vote came after mobs trashed the U.S. embassy in an assault that recalled Tehran 1979. What provoked Iraq's Parliament into demanding the ouster of all U.S. troops? First, the five December U.S. strikes on Iraq's Popular Mobilization Forces in retaliation for a dozen Kataib Hezbollah rocket attacks on U.S. bases, which killed a contractor and wounded four U.S. soldiers. Then came President...

AOC: This is a war crime. Threatening to target and kill innocent families, women and children - which is what you’re doing by targeting cultural sites - does not make you a “tough guy.” It does not make you “strategic.” It makes you a monster. Tim White: Hey toots. Let me help. If you could do some research, you’d learn there are 25 missile sites in Iran, and 27 oil refineries/ports. Since math’s a problem for you that total is 52. Now then be a good girl, make me a ham sandwich, pour me a beer, and put on something...

A handful of local police officers and the Honorable Mark C. Simmons, a General District Court Judge in Fairfax County, Virginia, pushed back on the progressive prosecutor backed by George Soros, who took office last week. The neoliberal Steve Descano has spent his first few days in office attempting to effectuate leftist political agenda with powers that he does not legally have. He declared that his lawyers will not prosecute simple marijuana possession crimes, essentially transforming Fairfax County into a marijuana sanctuary while possession continues to remain unlawful under Virginia state law. Virginia State Senator Mark Obenshain (R), who is also...

It’s just a matter of time. The mullahs are finished. There will be regime change in Iran. Iran’s corrupt regime knows it cannot survive the economic blockade put in place by the Trump White House. So what’s a corrupt ayatollah to do when faced with extinction by a greater power? Start a war, of course — which is exactly what Tehran is trying to do.So will we have war? Mr. Trump is well aware of Iran’s tactics and its eagerness for conflict. He will be unpredictable. He will be effective. He will not give Iran the ground war it wants....

Sumbul Siddiqui became the first Muslim mayor in the state on Monday, getting elected in Cambridge — where her family moved decades ago after emigrating from Pakistan. Siddiqui, 31, was elected unanimously on the first ballot by her fellow councilors. Following the vote, the packed chamber stood and showered her with applause. “The more and more different representation there is, the better it is for everyone,” she told the Herald after the inauguration, noting Cambridge’s diversity.

So long as the world is entertaining worst-case scenarios, the media does Americans no favors in omitting that Iran-Hezbollah has for years prepared to strike in their own hometowns. Weirdly absent from much of the professional speculation about where and how Iran will exact its promised “severe revenge” for the U.S. drone strike killing of Quds Force Gen. Qassem Suleimani is mention of the dead man’s highly suggestive hint. During a time of intense saber rattling between Iran and President Donald Trump in July 2018, Suleimani gave a speech during which he called out the American president: “Mr. Gambler, Trump!...

As usual, Nikki Haley was spot-on with her commentary on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show last night. The former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations defended President Trump’s decision to take out Qasem Soleimani, the Iranian Major General who led the Quds forces and directed Iran’s proxy militia groups to attack American and allied targets. He has been directly attributed to orders that have led to hundreds of American deaths, including the attack on our consulate in Bengazi, Libya, that left four Americans brutally murdered. According to Haley, the only people morning the death of Soleimani outside of Iran...

BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) - The Burleigh County Commission has shot down a non-binding straw poll that would have been put on the June ballot asking voters if the county should continue to accept refugees for resettlement. The Monday night 3-2 vote was the same as the commission vote last month not to accept more than 25 refugees in 2020. Commissioner Brian Bittner proposed putting the question up for a public vote after some residents asked him to do it. Bittner is among those opposed to refugee resettlement. Commission Chairman Jerry Woodcox said after the meeting that he thinks a straw...

When Mayor Lori Lightfoot met with top Chicago Police Department officials a week ago, she had a number in mind: 500. Lightfoot pressed the police brass on what they intended to do to keep the 2019 body count in Chicago below 500, police sources say. As of Tuesday evening, the police department’s murder count for the year was 492. Officials say they’re hopeful that total won’t surpass 500 by the time the new year begins at midnight. The 2019 murder total is expected to be the lowest since 2015. The mayor, elected in April, could get a symbolic victory in...

Fox News is reporting that Iran’s government has designated the U.S. Army as a “terrorist organization.” – That’s like having the Veggie Whopper designate you as a bad hamburger. Silliness. Yeah, that narrative isn’t going to work, either, CNN. – We talk a lot about how the Democrats and their toadies in the corrupt news media coordinate daily on the narratives they plan to push. This is because that’s exactly what they do on a daily basis in their tireless efforts to destroy the foundations of the American Republic and hamper the Trump Administration’s policy efforts. In Sunday morning’s Update,...
