Coca-Cola Bottling Co. United Inc. is making a significant investment in its operations in Georgia. The Birmingham company is building a state-of-the-art 300,000-square-foot facility in Tifton, Georgia. The $60 million investment will result in hiring about 200 people. The center will also distribute about 4.5 million cases of non-alcoholic beverages to customers a year after opening in late 2021. “We are thrilled about our plans to build a new facility in Tifton as it will allow us to optimize our distribution network and better serve our customers for decades to come,” said John Sherman, president and CEO of Coca-Cola Bottling...

ABC News aired a video on Sunday that host Tom Llamas said depicted a Turkish attack in northern Syria against Kurdish civilians. Turkey is indeed pushing into Syria and slaughtering Kurds along the way, but the video ABC News played last night is from a military gun demonstration in Kentucky that was published to YouTube in 2017. “This video, right here, appearing to show Turkey’s military bombing Kurd civilians in a Syrian border town,” Llamas said on the October 13 broadcast as the video played. But the explosions in the video are identical to explosions seen in a video titled,...

Last November, Democrats hailed California voters' rejection of Proposition 6, a law to scrap the state's 2017 massive gas taxes. They crowed that Californians were glad to pay five bucks at the pump when the rest of the U.S. average was half that. Big reason? Because $3 billion of those takings would save the state's tumbledown highways and go to repair roads and bridges.

A Republican member of the House Judiciary Committee was ejected from a closed-door impeachment hearing. Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida tried to enter a hearing Monday in which lawmakers from three different committees are interviewing President Trump’s former top aide on Russia, Fiona Hill. Gaetz said he believed he should be allowed to attend the hearing because impeachment inquiries traditionally are handled by the House Judiciary Committee, and he serves on that panel. But the House parliamentarian told Gaetz he is not allowed to attend the hearing because he does not sit on either the Intelligence, Foreign Affairs, or Oversight...

Talk about disenfranchisement. In California, seems it's not enough that foreign nationals who've just spilled over the U.S. border from the south can get free education, free health care, free housing, and all that — now it looks as though locals may just find themselves lorded over by foreign nationals with zero loyalty to the United States making policy, now that Gov. Gavin Newsom has signed SB225, a bill to allow illegals to "serve" (and be paid) on state boards that make policy in California. If your interests conflict with theirs, too bad about yours: According to the San Francisco...

Telecommunications giant Spectrum Inc. is investing nearly $2 million in a Northern Kentucky facility ahead of a push to hire on 300 more workers. Spectrum, born from the acquisition of Time Warner Cable by Charter Communications (Nasdaq: CHTR), is investing $1.7 million in upgrades to its Florence call center at 7906 Dixie Highway, which it plans to expand to 400 employees from its current 100 as the company shifts all of its residential telemarketing to the facility. "We know there's a good talent pool in Northern Kentucky and the Greater Cincinnati area," Spectrum spokesman Mike Hogan told me. Spectrum is...

MINNEAPOLIS — Saying its top priority is the safety and well-being of customers, Cub Foods is asking shoppers not to openly carry firearms in its stores. The announcement was made Saturday on the retailer's Twitter account: "While Minnesota is an open-carry state that allows individuals with lawful permits to carry firearms, we also respect the concerns and feedback shared by many of our customers following the recent tragic events throughout our country. Therefore, we're respectfully asking our customers, other than authorized law enforcement officials, to no longer openly carry firearms into our stores." What is not clear at this point...

Are you distrustful of the coverage of what is happening now in northern Syria between the Kurds and the Turkish army? You have good reason to be. ABC aired supposedly shocking footage Monday morning purporting to be from the frontline battle between the Syrian Kurds and the invading Turks. The only problem is the footage appears to come from a nighttime demonstration at the Knob Creek Gun Range in West Point, Kentucky. After seeing a comment from Wojciech Pawelczyk, I began making some calls. As of this writing, it appears that this video is a hoax, and ABC has pulled...

A new survey from a left-leaning polling outlet finds President Trump running even with the top contenders for the Democratic presidential nomination in Ohio, which the president carried by 8 points in 2016. The latest Public Policy Polling survey, conducted on behalf of the progressive group Innovation Ohio, found former Vice President Joe Biden edging Trump 48 percent to 46 percent in Ohio, which is within the survey’s margin of error. Sens. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) are tied with Trump at 47 percent each. The survey found Trump trailing a generic Democratic presidential candidate 48 percent to...

ABC's The View host Sunny Hostin believes a fake video of President Trump slaying his political enemies should be illegal for inciting violence. "I think for me, this would be illegal because, you know, wouldn’t that tend to incite violence against these particular politicians?" Hostin said Monday on the show. "Yes!" another host chimed in before Meghan McCain compared the video's potential to incite violence to Republican Louisiana Rep. Steve Scalise getting shot at a congressional baseball practice in 2017. "If something happens to one of these people because, and by the way, Steve Scalise was shot by a complete...

One valuable lesson has been learned from the California blackouts concerning the greens' vaunted solar power. People with solar panels fitted to their homes have long acted under the impression that these granted them some immunity to blackouts. They now know better. Those who went to the heavy expense of purchasing and installing solar panels are in the same situation as their neighbors: no light, no heat, no power. How does this make sense? If you've got a system that generates power all by itself, with no outside aid or assistance necessary, then it's a sure thing that it'll continue...

This is the intro video where the insider introduces himself. My thought was to have a central post for all of today's releases. I'm putting it in breaking news but if it's better suited for Front Page news, the mods are fre to move it. He's the satellite uplink tech for CNN Washington so aside from walking around talking to people, he seems to have had the ability to listen in on Jeff Zucker's phone calls to CNN DC. He was still recording those calls as of 9:00am this morning. Since the videos are being released as of noon EST,...

Message to the Swamp: American voters still are supposed to be in charge. That means they get to decide who gets elected. For example, in 2016, they elected a man named Donald Trump. He is still the president. Go suck an egg if you don’t like it. It also means that American voters get to choose where our soldiers, sailors and airmen get deployed around the world. They choose that by electing “representatives” to Congress, who vote to declare wars. They also get to choose the commander in chief of America’s mighty military. (Again, see previous paragraph about a man...

Members of apocalyptic cults always are certain in the superiority of their wisdom over that of ordinary people who cannot grasp that the end is near! Their frustration over the failure of others to share their sense of doom often leads them to engage in acts that strike nonbelievers as comical. The lone fanatic walking the streets with a sign or sandwich board proclaiming "the end is near" has been a staple of mockery for generations. But when you combine pseudo-science with the human impulse to believe that doom for all attends behavior that one objects to in the age...

CNN Reliable Sources host Brian Stelter brought on "Legendary Journalist" Sam Donaldson to unload the usual liberal mantras on Sunday. That's how CNN tagged Sam -- "Legendary Journalist" -- not only on screen, but even in the CNN transcript. Donaldson raised eyebrows much smaller than his by claiming that Trump fans are "fixated" on narrowing the country: "They want to return this country to the white Christian country that they believe it should be again. They don't want the diversity." DONALDSON: I'm telling you something, if public opinion is strongly for the impeachment and the conviction of President Trump, he...

Posted on October 13, 2019October 13, 2019 by Msgr. Charles Pope The Remarkable Beauty of Fog The time-lapse video below does a wonderful job of recording the beauty of fog. Most of us don’t remark on it in “real time”; it just seems to sit there and brood. Like clouds, fog is dynamic and undulating, moving so slowly that it rarely catches our attention. If time is collapsed, as is done in this video, the fog seems to flow like a river over the landscape, sometimes cascading like a waterfall. It is a beautiful sight. Put this in your...

After you read this ask yourself if you saw any of it on the MSM. Donald Trump held a rally in Minneapolis the other day. There were protests held outside the arena and they provided everyone with a glimpse into how the world would look with firm democrat control. Have a look at how these animals act: Protests outside President Trump’s rally in Minnesota took a violent turn as demonstrators began to set fire to campaign memorabilia, confront police, and throw urine. Trump was speaking at a rally in Minneapolis Thursday night after sparring with Mayor Jacob Frey for a...
