Hello all
I hesitate ever making posts like this because, well, I just don't like doing it. But I feel I have to now.
As you all can see, the quarterly goal is not where many of us would like to see. It's still about $6,000 short. This is the last day of Q1 and I am fearful we won't make it.
Many of us depend on Free Republic for our news, our devotionals, and as such you are our family. Please, I beg you, don't let the trolls and folks at DU cause FR to have to curtail its operations or, worst case scenario, close down.
Let's get it done today and put it over the top. I just sent another small donation (I can't afford much but I'm doing my best) and I'm calling on everyone who sees this to do the same, no matter how small or large, please donate today.

I sent in more today, too. I give monthly, but this last year, I’ve added more every quarter, too.
I’m in for $20 / month plus $100 for this Quarterly FReepathon.

A subscription to the crap Wall Street Journal is about double that.
For years I would contribute $20-$50 each quarter. It seemed to be enough.
The last few cycles it has been $200. I am on a mostly fixed income and this is the max I can give.
I can’t carry y’all forever.
Is FR losing readers, or just paying readers?

That confused me before also. When the box next to the state says “non US” you jut ignore it, in other words, just forget that box is there on the initial page

But I always point out that FR has run FReepathons as a successful business model for decades.
They always meet the goal and a day later - another fundraiser starts.
Lather. Rinse. Repeat. It works. Don’t mess with what works.
