Vice President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, resigned his direct commission as an ensign in the U.S. Naval Reserve, it was reported recently. Although he was 43 years old at the time of his commissioning, three years over age, he sought an age waiver and got it. Biden was serving as a public affairs officer; mostly, he went to Norfolk, Va., once a month and did a weekend of service. The twist here is that Biden was forced to resign because he had tested positive for cocaine in June 2013. A direct commission is a little-known entry point to get...

The anonymous U.S. intelligence official accusing President Trump of improperly pressuring Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden is represented by two lawyers who run a group that offers financial help to fired whistleblowers. Whistleblower Aid was launched in September 2017 — eight months after Trump's inauguration — with an advertising blitz that involved mobile billboards being driven close to the White House, Congress, outside the Pentagon, and around the headquarters of the CIA and National Security Agency. The group’s pledge of support, in addition to free legal representation including rent and mortgage assistance, media coaching, and doctor’s bills and counseling, is...

Kennedy (R., La.) offered an alternate explanation for Hunter Biden's appointment to the board of Ukraine's largest gas company while his father served as vice president. When MSNBC host Chuck Todd said there was no evidence of impropriety in the arrangement, Kennedy said he didn't believe the company found the vice president's son using the job search website, ZipRecruiter.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were greeted with cakes decorated with meaningful messages, as they sat down for tea with Archbishop Desmond Tutu in Cape Town today. Meghan, 38, and Harry, 35, glowed with pride as they were joined by adorable Archie, four months, who appeared particularly excited by the cakes and cookies emblazoned with timely notes including 'justice', 'faith' and 'me too'. The happy youngster was seen screeching with delight during his first official engagement, before dribbling with delectation as he set his sights on the tasty treats in front of him. The messages are reminiscent of supportive...

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders proposed an annual wealth tax topping out at 8% for the richest Americans, offering the farthest-reaching Democratic plan to pay for expanded government programs and break up concentrated fortunes. Mr. Sanders’s plan would hit more households and raise more money than the tax proposed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts, his chief rival for progressive voters. According to an analysis by economists who consulted with both campaigns, Mr. Sanders’s plan would generate $4.35 trillion over a decade, compared with Ms. Warren’s $2.75 trillion. Mr. Sanders’s plan would increase federal revenue by about 10%, all from around...

Check out 0:54 in this video of Biden's speech when he mentions how the Ukrainians balked at having billions taken away if Ukraine did not fire the prosecutor investigating Hunter. Two little words not mentioned. Obama was in on this! Listen closely from 0:48 to 0:59.

A pair of Scandinavian leftists pimp out their Asperger’s-suffering daughter to push global warming, and chaos ensues. Monday was the culmination of a year’s worth of programmatic, propagandistic proselytization, as a 16-year-old Swedish child with a developmental disability took to a podium at the United Nations to harangue and insult the leaders of the free world over the supposed “mass extinction” that is coming as a result of global warming.

Madame Speaker hasn’t always felt the same way about impeachment, because in her line of business it always depends on whose ox is being gored. Hence our new battle cry: If you’ve nothing concrete, you must impeach! Because these funds aren’t going to raise themselves. And Madame Pelosi knows that her base wants what she’s selling.Posted from: MOTUS A.D.

Like two rabid dogs fighting over the same rotten bone, the Democrats are in the middle of a civil war over impeachment. The Democrat leadership wants to defeat President Trump by winning an election, but its leftist hard core will settle for nothing less than impeachment even if it means four more years. Speaker Pelosi opposes impeachment because she’s seen the numbers. Impeachment polls badly with independents, would increase turnout among Republicans, and doesn’t even score well with Democrats. The impeachment obsession has led to the perception among a majority of voters that the House is focused on going after...

HILLSBORO, Ohio — President Trump is seen in the news as perpetually on the verge of being toppled by the latest scandal of the week. But not here in Hillsboro or places like it. The latest round of accusations involving Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh led to calls for Kavanaugh’s impeachment in Washington but were largely dismissed here as more flimsy, partisan attacks. Former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski’s scornful testimony before Congress brought demands for a contempt citation from some but was mostly cheered here. The saga of Trump, Ukraine and the unknown “whistleblower” leaves people here wondering...

Democrats wrote to the Ukrainian government in May 2018 urging it to continue investigations into President Donald Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia in the 2016 presidential campaign — collusion later found not to exist. The demand, which came from U.S. Senators Robert Menendez (D-NJ), Dick Durbin (D-IL), and Patrick Leahy (D-VT), resurfaced Wednesday in an opinion piece written by conservative Marc Thiessen in the Washington Post. Ironically, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) declared Tuesday that the mere possibility that President Trump had asked Ukraine to continue an investigation of former Vice President Joe Biden — even without a...

The U.S. military has a growing interest in brain-computer interfaces: sensors that pick up brain signals and electronics that convert them to digital information that can be read by computers... A group of scientists from several universities has created an unobtrusive brain-computer interface strip that could revolutionize the way humans convert their thoughts into a machine-readable format. A narrow strip affixes to the upper neck, performing the data collection of a traditional EEG cap. The signals are then interpreted by software —aided by machine learning— to produce data that could be used to steer vehicles or operate other computers. The...
