GOP senator jokes about jobs website

Sen. John N. Kennedy (R., La.) offered an alternate explanation for Hunter Biden's appointment to the board of Ukraine's largest gas company while his father served as vice president.

When MSNBC host Chuck Todd said there was no evidence of impropriety in the arrangement, Kennedy said he didn't believe the company found the vice president's son using the job search website, ZipRecruiter.

I hate putting it out there, but didn’t Bush appoint Hunter over to the Amtrak board of directors? Hunter only resigned from that job when VP Joe went into the White House.

Gotta hand it to the Bidens. Hunter got $1.5B from China, $1.5B from Ukraine, and Joe’s brother got $1.5B from another foreign entity. The are fascinated with the number 1.5B.

Whistleblower is doing a great job. Keep it up, buddy. Next, we will learn that Hunter used his VP father’s name
to arrange the sale of an American automotive parts company to our economic enemy, China.

Breitbart editor: Biden’s son inked deal with Chinese government days after vice president’s trip

A private equity firm managed by the son of former Vice President Joe Biden struck a deal with China’s state-owned bank in 2013 at the same time that Biden was in the country to meet with Chinese President Xi Jinping. Hunter Biden, who arrived in China aboard Air Force Two alongside the vice president and the rest of the U.S. delegation, was at the time in control of Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC., a private equity firm that would go on to strike a deal with the state-owned Bank of China to create a $1 billion joint investment fund.

In excerpts from his upcoming book, “Secret Empires: How the American Political Class Hides Corruption and Enriches Family and Friends,” Breitbart News senior editor-at-large Peter Schweizer writes that the China deal was part of a trend of high-stakes deals between the sons’ investment firm — under the Rosemont entities umbrella — and foreign governments that were also in the middle of striking deals with the Obama administration.

Hunter Biden controlled the Rosemont entities, which describes itself as “a $2.4 billion private equity firm.”

In 2011, Hunter Biden met with top Chinese government fund leaders alongside managing partner Devon Archer and James Bulger, the nephew of notorious mobster Whitey Bulger, who controls a Massachusetts-based consultancy firm. The meeting took place just hours before the vice president would meet with Hu Jintao, then China’s president, in Washington as part of a nuclear security summit. A second meeting that year between Hunter Biden and other top Chinese officials would occur in Taiwan, just two weeks after the vice president opened up strategic talks with China in Washington.

In 2013, the younger Biden would be part of an official U.S. delegation to the country. Ten days later, Rosemont entities inked a $1 billion deal with the bank of China. The deal was eventually increased to $1.5 billion. Deals made by the firm — co-owned by the government of China and the two sons of top American officials — would go on to have serious national security implications for the United States. One such deal was with the automotive subsidiary of Aviation Industry Corporation of China (AVIC), a major Chinese military contractor accused of frequently stealing U.S. military technology.

In late 2015, AVIC would go on to purchase 51 percent of American precision-parts manufacturer Henniges. Joe Biden’s son bought the other 49 percent in a deal that was approved by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States, which includes members of numerous government agencies including the State Department.

In an email, a spokesman for Chris Heinz, John Kerry’s son by marriage, told The Hill that Heinz had “no operating role” in Rosemont Seneca, and was not involved in any of the firm’s dealings in China — contradicting Schweizer’s original reports. “Rosemont Capital is not, and never was, a part of the Heinz Family Office and was a fully independent alternative investment fund manager,” said Heinz spokesman Chris Bastardi.

“Chris Heinz was involved in Rosemont Capital. Rosemont Seneca was established under the same GP as Rosemont Capital, but Chris Heinz had no operating role in it. Chris and his family have no financial interest or investment in Bohai Harvest RST, he has never traveled to China, and he has never met with the firm’s Chinese management team or investors.”

Let’s try to imagine for one damned second what would happen if Don Jr. took the same job while his dad is in office.

This is ridiculous. The Democrats have to go, big time hardcore.

Who would pay an inexperienced neophyte $1.5 BILLION to sit on a board and do nothing without some suspicion of impropriety?

People are fooling themselves that this was just an innocent work arrangement that he applied for and got, without any help from this dad, the VP of the US.

So then the question becomes, where did a total of $4.5 BILLION disappear to? Who's got the money? An individual can't spend that kind of money in coke and broads fast enough for it to all be gone by now.

My guess is that Slow Joe pocketed a big hunk of it for a kickback.

It's called corruption and graft folks. Biden needs to answer for this. At minimum, he will drop out of the race before this subject heats up too much.

Instead of the presidency, it could be prison time for Slow Joe.

WIKI--In 2006, Pres GWB appointed Hunter to the board of directors of Amtrak; Biden served on the board 2006 to 2009.

============================

HERE'S A JOB FOR THE WHISTLEBLOWER (cackle)

<><> Hunter Biden became a lobbyist in 2001, co-founding the firm of Oldaker, Biden & Belair.

<><> According to Adam Entous of The New Yorker, Biden and his dad had an agreement:
Biden wouldn’t ask Hunter about his lobbying clients, and Hunter wouldn’t tell his father about them. (cackle)

<><> In 2006, Biden and his uncle, James Biden, attempted to buy Paradigm, a hedge-fund group, but the deal fell apart before completion.

A Capone would be jealous over a shake down this big.

Speaking of which, I wonder if all that cash was reported to the IRS?

Not reporting his shake down and booze income is what put Capone in jail.

We live in a country where our leader asked for assistance from a foreign leader in fighting corruption in our country and he is being accused of a crime by our Intel Agencies for doing so. THAT is where we are today.

Remember, you are rich though if you make a $100,000 per year. You are evil and moneygrubber in their eyes. You have to pay your fair share they say.

You only owe the tax when you bring it in the country. The Younger Biden could have parked every nickel of $50,000 a month in a Cayman Bank.

Three days ago on the morning of the 22nd of this month I wrote this reply trying to think through whether or not their was even an allegation that the president had committed treason, bribery, high crimes or other misdemeanors. Since then we have received more information all of which tends to exonerate the president.

None of this, of course, has stopped The Democrats or rinos like Weld who wants the president executed. But my query remains, what did the president do wrong at a level that qualifies for impeachment?

In the reply I wrote I emphasized that there was no quid pro quo therefore nothing wrong was done. The more I think about this the more it seems clear that even if there were a quid pro quo, the president was fully entitled to engage in that sort of negotiation.

In Biden's case, he was selling his office and then used his office to cover corruption-or at least that is a credible allegation.

In the president's case, he was executing his office in a way that might have conceivably benefited his reelection but which also clearly had a collateral purpose of uncovering corruption in the previous administration and in an ally nation who was to receive military aid. One thinks of the situation in paying Stormy Daniels, if the president had any collateral purpose the payment to her was not a violation of campaign finance law when made out of his own funds.

Similarly, if the president had any plausible proper collateral purpose in the exercise of foreign policy, he cannot be held to question when he also benefits politically or personally.

I would be interested in hearing from anyone who can identify a crime which would qualify for impeachment. Meanwhile, the reply of three days ago appears below:

1. The president of the United States is the chief diplomat and chief law enforcement officer of the country.

2. As such he is duty-bound to investigate credible allegations of corruption and mismanagement of foreign affairs.

3. Schweitzer's book and Biden's own filmed confession of forcing the Ukrainian prosecutor out of office by threats to withhold American taxpayer money, constituted credible allegations of corruption and mismanagement.

4. The president says there was no quid pro quo for his requests that the new Ukrainian administration investigate the matter.

5. The whistleblower apparently confirms that there was no quid pro quo for the requests by the president to investigate.

6. The Ukrainian authorities confirm that there was no quid pro quo.

The president behaved correctly and to have done otherwise than request investigation would have been to neglect his duty to see the laws faithfully executed by himself and by former vice presidents.

Rudy Giuliani acting as a private citizen had a perfect right to request that the Ukrainians investigate. There is a long history in the United States of employing private citizens in foreign negotiations, the name Harry Hopkins comes to mind as does Averill Harriman.

There is no evidence that Giuliani offered any quid pro quo, therefore, he did nothing wrong. There is no evidence that Giuliani had any quid pro quo to offer, therefore the president did nothing wrong.

It’s impossible to make sense of this. It’s quite simple, Democrat desperation at such a level that they will aggressively split the country and cause chaos as their ship sinks. Frankly, if we had a competent honest media we’d all be laughing at the Dems and mocking them.
