Well today I finally got around to reassessing my newspaper needs. My state paper, The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette as of next month goes total digital. So I now have to get used to reading the paper on the IPad. With that coming I decided to reevaluate the other papers I take. I get The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. Well for awhile I just have not been reading the other papers much. USA Today used to be a fun paper to read and I had read it from the very beginning, but it changed it's format, got skinnier and become...

As I drove my 1998 Mustang GT out of the garage, it started raining. Pulling into the street, the engine got louder, a sound I’d only heard a few times this year. The radio tried to compete with the loud V8 and played Coldplay’s Hurts Like Heaven: ‘On every street, every car, every surface a name. Tonight the streets are ours.’ I knew today would be an awesome day. Except for a few years in the 60s, Ford did not sell the Mustang in Europe for 50 years. If you wanted one, you had to import one yourself and get...

When quizzed about their relationship on the show, she said: "We did meet once but we didn't get on very well, we tried to beat each other up. "Well, it was more he tried to beat...

Tuesday's election will not only be a contest between Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Blue and White leader Benny Gantz but also between their American pollsters. John McLaughlin stood beside Netanyahu in a video he posted on Friday explaining why Otzma Yehudit would not cross the 3.25% electoral threshold. In explaining why he was so sure, Netanyahu pointed at McLaughlin and said that he was the pollster for US president Donald Trump. Blue and White's American strategist Joel Benenson also made the news this past week, when Netanyahu accused him of being behind a false report in Politico accusing Israel...

Trump has been very bad for Russian and Saudi business. By implementing policies that helped expand American oil and natural gas production, Trump has indirectly attacked their economies. Under Trump, US oil production has exploded to unprecedented levels. It is now above 12 million barrels per day, which is the most in the world. More importantly, almost every prominent Democrat has promised—indirectly, of course—to be very good for Russian and Saudi business by enacting policies and implementing executive actions that will drastically raise the value of their industries. For Russia and Saudi Arabia, the CNN climate town hall last week...

In this video, we see the reaction of low income El Paso residents to the redevelopment plan pushed by Bill Sanders via his son-in-law Beto to confiscate homes in El Paso in order to steamroller his real estate deal.

Buckingham Palace aides are advising the Queen's guests not to mention Prince Harry and Meghan Markle during their audience with Her Majesty, it is claimed. With the Duke and Duchess of Sussex grabbing headlines around the globe each day, many household guests are keen to discuss the young Royals with the monarch. But flunkies have allegedly begun to clamp down on this popular line of questioning and are informally steering visitors on to more 'polite' conversation topics, it is claimed.

I didn’t watch the last Democratic presidential primary debates because I figured that without Tulsi Gabbard in there shaking things up it would be a boring, vapid parade of insubstantial verbal foam, and I love myself too much to go through such a horrible ordeal. By all accounts my prediction was correct, but I did miss one thing that’s been making the rounds in video clips for the last couple of days which I find absolutely bizarre. [Snip] Most of you have probably heard about Biden’s infamous "record player" comment by now, but for those of you who missed it,...

Boris Johnson dramatically pulled out of a press conference in Luxembourg today after protests and an extraordinary spat with counterpart Xavier Bettel. Protesters carrying messages including 'Bog Off Boris' first jeered the PM after showdown talks with EU commission president Jean-Claude Juncker over lunch at a restaurant. And Mr Johnson then faced cat-calls from a crowd including British ex-pats as he arrived for a meeting with Luxembourg counterpart Xavier Bettel. The stormy atmosphere led to Mr Johnson requesting the press call be held outside following their private discussions. It was originally planned to be held just yards from the demonstrations....

O’Rourke’s oft-repeated “Hell yes, we're gonna take your AR-15” line, a phrase many would consider a threat in and of itself, Cain tweeted his own version of ‘come and take it’ right back at the former Texas congressman: “My AR is ready for you.” While gun grabbers were apoplectic about a perceived “threat” and Twitter obediently deleted the tweet for what it called a violation of its “rules for threats of violence,” Second Amendment supporters came to Briscoe’s defense, calling the phrase well within the bounds of First Amendment protected speech.

The short-lived new "allegations" against Supreme Court Associate Justice Brett Kavanaugh were so weak that Senate investigators didn't follow up on them during the confirmation process, author Carrie Severino said Monday. "This is the weakest of the weak type of allegations. It's really a shameful attempt to reignite these smears against Judge Kavanaugh that are utterly baseless," said Severino, the founder of the Judicial Crisis Network, on "Fox & Friends." Late Sunday, the New York Times walked back an explosive report about a resurfaced allegation of sexual assault by Kavanaugh from his college days. The Times piece by Robin Pogrebin...

New York is set to become the second state in the United States to ban flavored e-cigarettes after Gov. Andrew Cuomo used executive power to outlaw the sale of the products amid rising concern over its health effects and youth vaping. The Democratic governor announced an “emergency executive action” to ban all flavored e-cigarettes besides tobacco and menthol, and said he was worried the products were causing a nicotine addiction among young people. “Manufacturers of fruit and candy-flavored e-cigarettes are intentionally and recklessly targeting young people, and today we’re taking action to put an end to it ,” he announced...
