Please do not have a cow, my proposal is an improvement in speed and confidentiality. Imagine my zip code is 55555-1212 and I have a valid state-issued photo ID with that zip code on it. If some gun seller wanted to see if I'm a barred person, he would enter 55555 into the ATF website. He would get back a numerically ordered list of nine-digit zip codes of barred persons who have been issued state identification cards/licenses with nine-digit zip codes for 55555 that are still valid. This might have fifty zip codes on it. The gun seller would check...

Legal decision reminiscent of Holocaust-era boycotts of Jews The European Union is poised to mandate that Israeli products made in contested territories carry consumer warning labels, a decision that could trigger American anti-boycott laws and open up what legal experts describe as a "Pandora's box" of litigation, according to multiple sources involved in the legal dispute who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon. The Advocate General of the European Court of Justice recently issued non-binding opinion arguing that EU law requires Israeli-made products to be labeled as coming from "settlements" and "Israeli colonies." The decision was seen as a major...

New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D) led public calls Saturday demanding answers after disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell due to an apparent suicide. "We need answers. Lots of them," Ocasio-Cortez, a member of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, tweeted. Multiple media outlets reported Saturday that Epstein's body was discovered in his jail cell around 7:30 a.m. at the Metropolitan Correctional Center. Many immediately began questioning the details surrounding his death after Epstein was reportedly put on suicide watch in late July following a possible suicide attempt. "He reportedly tried to kill himself...

Today’s Campaign Update, Part II (Because The Campaign Never Ends) Now that convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein has committed the most conveniently-timed “suicide” in American history, no one in their right minds should expect our Department of Justice to provide any form of real justice for the many women who suffered at the hands of Epstein and – allegedly – his many very powerful friends and associates. After all, this “suicide” happened under the not-so-watchful eye of that selfsame DOJ, given that the Bureau of Prisons resides within that organization. And Epstein was not just any random prisoner within that prison...

Rep. Joaquin Castro learned a very important life lesson the other day. It turns out the gun-toting, Bible-clinging Trump supporters in San Antonio don’t take kindly to a politician who disrespects their brisket. The day after Castro published that hateful screed, thousands of Texans piled into their pickup trucks and drove to the nearest Bill Miller Bar-B-Q. Social media reports flooded in showing massive drive-thru lines backing up onto busy streets. Hungry customers patiently waited in lines out the door. Castro, D-Texas, recently published a list of President Trump's top San Antonio donors. He also doxed their places of employment....

After the horrible carnage of the last two weeks, we have seen some folks and some organizations who claim to be staunch defenders of the Constitution and Bill of Rights fold like a cheap suit. Sadly, I always suspected President Trump would fold on gun rights, and this is not his first example of that. But what really took me by surprise was when Congressman Dan Crenshaw came out in support of “red flag” laws. First, as with all legislation, gun control laws should never be motivated by emotion but rather should be based on logic. Humans do stupid things...

[snip] J.D. Gordon, a former Pentagon spokesman and campaign national security adviser, said his letter asked Mr. Durham to broaden his investigation into how Mr. Mueller and his team of mostly Democratic Party-aligned prosecutors conducted their inquiry. “Trump-Russia was far worse than a simple hoax and political dirty trick,” Mr. Gordon told The Washington Times. “At the core, it was a crime wave waged against President Trump and dozens of his associates who were victimized by years of criminal leaks, violations of the Privacy Act of 1974 and various defamation laws.” Trump supporters are particularly upset that Mr. Mueller’s 448-page...

Murdock told “Fox and Friends” Saturday morning that the shock death raises questions about how Epstein, who was already once found in his cell with thumbprints on his neck, ended up dead. “Apparently he was supposed to be on suicide watch. Given how high profile a suspect he is, you’d think there would be a doctor in there …. and cameras and lights to make sure nothing like this happen,” he said. “The fact he was able to either commit suicide or somebody got to him – who knows what happened because so little information here – it is amazing.”...

When Hong Kong was brought to its knees on Monday, Jay Sin, bespectacled, masked and helmeted, was in high spirits and in a hurry. He had to be in many places. “We’re trying to make it more difficult for police to plan their operations,” Sin said when the Post met him at the Cross-Harbour Tunnel in Hung Hom. By then, he and his fellow protesters had walked more than 4km from Mong Kok in the summer heat, leaving a trail of destruction in their wake. On the tunnel billboard above him, his comrades had already spray-painted the catchphrase “Liberate Hong...

One woman personally affected by the mass murder in El Paso, Texas, last Saturday is outraged over the “pure evil” exhibited by Democratic politicians who refused to welcome President Donald Trump to the city. Deborah Anchondo is the sister of Andre Anchondo, who, along with his wife Jordan, heroically died while shielding his 2-month-old son from bullets during the shooting. Deborah took to Facebook to tear into Democrats for their divisive comments towards President Trump. She said it's time to heal and unite, not play politics immediately after the tragic shooting. Deborah also slammed local Democratic politicians who said Trump...

VIDEO Did famous performer Sophie Tucker inspire the economic boom of the 1960s? Perhaps, as this clip from the documentary "The Outrageous Sophie Tucker" reveals in this eyewitness account of the time Sophie Tucker picked up the phone and called President John F. Kennedy in 1962 and told him to not sign a bill taxing dividends.

Love for the president among the ‘patriots,’ ‘rebels’ and ‘crazies’ at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. ...Everywhere you look it’s Trump, Trump, Trump—Donald Trump’s face on merchandise at the dozens of pop-up stores serving the hundreds of thousands of bikers who have come to the Black Hills this week for the annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. Each August, topless women parade up Main Street in this town of 7,000, as an endless line of motorcyclists roar back down Lazelle Street. People come to Sturgis from all over the country to be around other lovers of machines and the open road. A man...

If history is anything to go by, the Supreme Leader's statement is barely worth a pinch of salt. It is notable that that the first time Ayatollah Ali Khamenei issued a fatwa against nuclear weapons took place right after his government was caught red-handed pursuing secret nuclear activities and enriching uranium in two clandestine nuclear sites in Natanz and Arak in 2002 in violation of the Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT). Having been found out for their deception, the Iranian authorities subsequently adopted deception as a national policy by promoting the narrative of aversion to nuclear weapons to the world while embracing...

Hysterical Democrats, driven mad by Trump Derangement Syndrome, are generating sympathy (and money) for those whom they attack for supporting Donald Trump.  The threatened boycott of Equinox and SoulCycle because a major stockholder, Stephen Ross, held a fundraiser yesterday for the Trump 2020 campaign, has the best prospects of succeeding because their clientele is heavily skewed to affluent urban millennials.  But so far, the only tangible result is that it (along with a second event also held in The Hamptons) was more successful than anticipated. Brett Samuels reports in The Hill:  Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said President Trump on...

Joe Biden remains on top of the Democratic presidential polls, which can only be taken as an indication of the weakness of the field. “Slow Joe” Biden has never been intelligent, and at 76 years old he is far from the top of his game, such as it ever was. Among other things, Biden has longstanding problems with race. Biden is famous for his gaffes, which are usually written off as signs of his good-old-boyness. But a striking number of those blunders have involved race. Some are well-known (Barack Obama was “The first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright...
