John Durham pressed to probe Mueller and his Democrat-aligned prosecutors
The Washington Times ^ | August 6, 2019 | Rowan Scarborough

[snip] J.D. Gordon, a former Pentagon spokesman and campaign national security adviser, said his letter asked Mr. Durham to broaden his investigation into how Mr. Mueller and his team of mostly Democratic Party-aligned prosecutors conducted their inquiry.

“Trump-Russia was far worse than a simple hoax and political dirty trick,” Mr. Gordon told The Washington Times. “At the core, it was a crime wave waged against President Trump and dozens of his associates who were victimized by years of criminal leaks, violations of the Privacy Act of 1974 and various defamation laws.”

Trump supporters are particularly upset that Mr. Mueller’s 448-page report included the names of advisers, such as Mr. Gordon, and their actions when none was charged criminally. Federal prosecutors typically don’t provide narratives on unindicted people.

“This corruption in our government will never be removed and none of the perps will ever see the inside of a jail...”

It is down to an exact art: Launch an endless investigation, which requires, for some reason, all bits and pieces of information to be kept secret.

When something fresh is uncovered, launch a new investigation. They will run out the clock doing this.

No wonder Epstein was murdered while the entire world was waiting and watching for that very event. Comey and his Intelligence gang committed high treason which is evident to the entire world and no one can touch them. It is being investigated. To be concluded in July. No August. No September. No December. No, not now, we don’t want to interfere in the election. In 2021.

You are correct. The corruption is so deep and pervasive it will never be removed. We are and will continue to be a kleptocracy, at least until the great financial reset occurs. Our debt and corresponding corruption are simply unsustainable.

Lots of investigations but not even a single indictment despite mountains of evidence against the plotters. The “investigations” are nothing more than a facade to lend the appearance of justice being pursued. Its all just a smokescreen to protect the Deep State from any real consequences.

Nobody is ever held accountable for anything in DC.

That is because “WE THE PEOPLE” do not hold them accountable. We grumble, and then we accept it.

EARLY in the Mueller investigation, within weeks, really, they had an indictment against General Flynn. This was followed by indictments against Manafort and Papadopoulos.

Yet no one has been charged by Durham?

What’s he waiting for?

OR...

Is he just going to run out the clock?

Tell us how to do it. If you are going to blame the people, you provide the leadership, and none of this Don Quixote stuff about being a precinct chairman. Tell us what to do.

This was initially an attempt to subvert a presidential election. It turned into a coup attempt. This isn’t simple political dirty tricks. We have turned into a freaking Third World banana republic, and no one seems willing to do a goddamned thing about it. I am sickened, beyond what I thought my ability to be sickened was. Now with the overt disposal of Epstein, it is just getting worse. We are at the point where those in power have overtly said to us that there is one set of rules for them, and quite another set of rules for the rest of us. This is not my country anymore.

We the people simply cannot hold them accountable. Each of us is an individual, and with all of the intelligence assets and other forces arrayed to protect the powers that be, not a single one of us can do a damn thing.

Now, a group of extremely patriotic ex-special forces operators would be a different matter. They could perform the ultimate act of liberation from tyranny for which they were trained. Just saying.

What a facile remark. It is because we do not “accept it” that we are losing hope. The country is incontrovertibly lost.

Since we aren’t Third World, I’d characterize the US as decadent. Any country allowing government to take over a seventh of the economy (Obamacare) by enabling legislation without even reading it is a paradigm of decadence.

Ancient Rome wasn’t this bad.

Yeah, and I take grief all the time at this forum over the “danger” to our republic from an Article V COS.

The high criminals will walk.

Just keep voting. Once PDJT retires in 2025, then what?
