What the Market wanted to hear from Jay Powell and the Federal Reserve was that this was the beginning of a lengthy and aggressive rate-cutting cycle which would keep pace with China, The European Union and other countries around the world ... As usual, Powell let us down, but at least he is ending quantitative tightening, which shouldn’t have started in the first place - no inflation. We are winning anyway, but I am certainly not getting much help from the Federal Reserve!

It looks like Chicagoans possibly have been duped again — this time by a local man hoping to capitalize on an alligator frenzy taking place in the city, rather than a Hollywood actor who invoked the name of Donald Trump. The Jussie Smollett case earlier this year caused discord that is still reverberating through the city. This time, though, no one is saying a thing. I wonder why?

And, folks, I have to tell you, I sit there and I watch this stuff and I alternately laugh, sometimes uproariously, other times I’m incredulous. I cannot believe it. And then I catch myself and I have to tell myself that 30% of this country believes this garbage that they’re hearing. And that sobers you up. So we’ll get to all of this in a minute. Now, a lot of people have, without credit, of course, picked up on my observation yesterday that Trump could end up...

An actual game changing technology is being demonstrated as we sit in our air-conditioned abodes reading this. And it is being demonstrated by North Carolina–based Net Power at a new plant in La Porte, Texas. The process involves burning fossil fuel with oxygen instead of air to generate electricity without emitting any carbon dioxide (CO2). Not using air also avoids generating NOx, the main atmospheric and health contaminant emitted from gas plants.

Sorry but I could not find the video segment from last night’s TC show but did anyone watch it? If so and you have the video, please link it. Anyway, TC had some guy on who’s currently serving on the Baltimore City Council. Of course, TC kept asking him what’s going on in Baltimore and why conditions are the way they are. One reason, according to this buffoon was they didn’t have enough housing (even though houses are being torn down for lack of occupants to occupy them) and they needed federal money (yes, more money) to build more housing.TC...

"No wonder CNN’s ratings (MSNBC’s also) have gone down the tubes -...
