Epstein’s trial is expected to last four to six weeks, and the defense will have all the prosecution’s evidence against the multimillionaire financier by Oct. 31, she said.
Defense lawyer Martin Weinberg objected to starting the trial before September 2020, saying, “We need time to review a million pages of discovery.”
But Judge Richard Berman said he was blocking out time in June 2020 on the presumption that the defense would be ready by then.

Is BERMAN REALLY going to go after EPSTEIN?
Can’t wait to see who else they nab.
If I were the prosecutor I would pick the three strongest cases and let the others just lie there unaddressed. That’s assuming they are using old data and not new offenses. That way they could go to trial this year.
There is the issue that he has already been tried for the old stuff and perhaps they can’t even use the old evidence. He would need to be tried for new cases only; double jeopardy. That will certainly be a defense he would use. The more important part is to pry out of him the recordings he undoubtedly made of all the elite people, like the Clintons, so they to can be brought to justice. I’d be okay with a deal where he spent less time in prison by giving up the other scum who did the same thing.
When he gets out, the government should actually keep a watch on him because he will reoffend. Then, nail his butt for the rest of his life.
It’s about nabbing Trump. It’s always about that.
Couple of questions...
1. What about the NPA? How can that be side stepped?
2. Why didn’t New York State prosecute before?
It’s not like people didn’t know.
From now to June 2020 that’s a bit over 3,000 pages a day.

And yet many write as though his whole history is a mystery.
New crimes not covered under the original chrime
If Epstein is found guilty they will claim they didn't have enough time to review all the evidence.
The judge will agree.
