Blue and White leader Yair Lapid addressed US plans for negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, emphasizing that it's important the US "stay out of" the upcoming Israeli election. "Of course we expect the American administration to stay out of our elections, the same way the Americans expect us to stay away from their elections," Lapid told i24NEWS in an interview aired Wednesday. "It's just the civil way of treating politics," .....

Williamson, whose focus on spiritual solutions to political problems and statements about conquering hate with love have won her a significant following, was interviewed by the young reporter in the post-debate “spin room” in Detroit. “Do you have a pet?” the budding scribe asked Williamson, as seen in a video tweeted by Associated Press reporter Philip Crowther. “Do I have a pet? I had a cat and the cat died,” Williamson responded.

When President Trump referred to Baltimore as a "disgusting rat and rodent infested mess", he could have just as easily been talking about its two-legged Democrat rats as its four-legged Norwegian rats. Charm City's Norwegian rats (rattus norvegicus) usually only come out at night and munch on trash in the shadows of housing projects, while its Democrat rats (rattus democratus) sashay around in the light of day and munch on taxpayer goodies in the marble houses of government. If you want to see a good example of rattus democratus in its native Baltimorean habitat, draw the curtains, send the kiddies...

The first installment of CNN’s two-night Democratic primary debate was slammed by critics before it even began. Then it concluded without a single mention of CNN’s longstanding narrative that blew up during former Special Counsel Robert Mueller's testimony. Mueller's testimony before two House committees last week was largely considered a “disaster” for Democrats and opponents of President Trump who hoped he would provide a path to impeachment. However, Mueller was oddly never mentioned throughout CNN’s debate and Russia was essentially an afterthought at the first gathering of 2020 hopefuls since the testimony. “CNN flounders now, they’ve no idea what the...

“Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it became perfectly calm. The men were amazed, and said, ‘What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?’” (Matthew 8:26–27). If you have been a believer for very long, you realize that knowing about the Lord’s love and powerful concern and trusting in them do not always go hand in hand. Even when we trust, it is not always complete or without trepidation. When the disciples witnessed Jesus calming the storm and waves, they were no doubt relieved but also...

Democratic candidates for the 2020 nomination have promised more than $210 trillion in new spending across the field, analysis by the Washington Free Beacon shows. Of the 26 declared candidates—including Rep. Eric Swalwell (D., Calif.) who dropped out earlier this month—most have put enormous new government programs front and center in their campaigns. Totaling up these proposals gives taxpaying voters a sense of the budget priorities of the average Democratic candidate. That overall figure is an undercount, as it is based only on proposals for which the Free Beacon could identify actual spending estimates. The true figure is much larger....

Maria Bartiromo is one of a very few mainstream journalists with knowledge of the deepest weeds of ‘spygate’ and the multiple intelligence operations to manipulate the 2016 election against candidate Trump, and then run operations to remove President Trump. In an extensive interview with HPSCI ranking member Devin Nunes, Maria Bartiromo asks the ultimate question: “who was the mastermind” behind all of these intelligence operations?Released FOIA documents into the special counsel team of Robert Mueller revealed the remarkable trail of the 2017 entrapment scheme conducted by prosecutor Andrew Weissmann to target George Papadopoulos. Before digging into the details it is...

Recently I participated in a gathering hosted by three United Methodist bishops for dialogue among conservatives, liberals and self-identified centrists. Our topic was the impending division of the United Methodist Church. The day-long conversation was off record, but you can read the United Methodist News Service report, which includes my quote: Tooley said he has opposed division and for 30 years has worked for a “vision of denominational revival.” “I now admit division is inevitable,” he said. “It will happen of itself, chaotically. Or it will happen through negotiation and some leadership. The latter seems preferable.” After the meeting, which...

Arming herself for Wednesday night's Democratic primary debate, contender Kamala Harris unveiled her latest health care position paper. Harris has flip-flopped over whether she supports eliminating all private insurance in favor of a single-payer government-run health system. Her new plan tries to have it both ways. Don't be fooled. Reacting to people's fears about having private health insurance they like ripped away, Harris is promising a 10-year transition period. Here's what you need to know. If you get health insurance at work or buy your own plan, will you be able to keep it? No. Harris says insurance companies will...

KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WOWK) – A man was placed into handcuffs this morning in the capitol city while protesting outside of a health clinic. The man, identified as Christopher McComas, 52, of Saint Albans, was arrested after having two warrants issued for him stemming from last week for disorderly conduct and assault. He was arrested while protesting abortion in front of the Charleston Women’s Health Center around near the corner of Washington Street and Greendale Drive. He had been protesting there for several weeks.

VIDEO Following the first Democrat candidate debate in Detroit, CNN's Van Jones claimed that "WE" are all still in therapy over the 2016 election. Well, Jones was probably thinking of himself as well as his CNN colleagues along with many other liberals but for the rest of us, WE are still celebrating the 2016 election results. However, as depressing as the 2016 election result was for liberals, it will be nothing compared to their meltdown coming in 2020 following Trump's re-election. Look for the liberals to act as if they are infected with the rage virus from the movie "28...

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) — A federal judge on Tuesday questioned Alabama’s requirement for a transgender person to undergo full gender reassignment surgery before they can change the sex on their driver’s license, suggesting that a license that contradicts a person’s public appearance essentially marks them with a “scarlet letter T.” U.S. District Judge Myron Thompson held a hearing in the 2018 lawsuit filed by three transgender women seeking to change the gender on their state license. The American Civil Liberties Union, which is representing the plaintiffs, said the requirement to show proof of sex-altering surgery is an unconstitutional violation of...

Hal Prince, the Broadway royal and prodigious Tony winner, the producer or director (or both) of many of the theater’s most enduring musicals, including “Damn Yankees,” “West Side Story,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Cabaret,” “Sweeney Todd” and “The Phantom of the Opera,” the longest-running show in Broadway history, died on Wednesday in Reykjavik, Iceland. He was 91. The death was confirmed by a spokesman. Mr. Prince began working in the theater in the halcyon days of Broadway, when Cole Porter and Rodgers and Hammerstein were its songwriting kings, the stage musical was a robust American art form (not to mention...

Detroit (CNN)Joe Biden is 76 years old. If he wins the White House in 2020, he will be 78 years old when he takes office. That would make him the oldest first-term president in American history -- eclipsing, by eight years(!), the record set by Donald Trump when he was elected in 2016 at age 70. While Biden allies insist he is totally and completely healthy, his performance -- listless and, at times, just behind the beat -- at the first debate performance added to the whispers that maybe time had caught up with the former vice president. As The...

Few may realize the important role that think tanks play as places where world leaders come to share ideas, discuss world problems, and seek solutions to the issues their countries face. For example, The Heritage Foundation not only works with our own government here in the U.S., but with leaders and thinkers from around the world. Recent visitors to Heritage include El Salvadoran President Nayib Bukele, Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid, U.N. Secretary General Antonio Guterres, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, EU Ambassador Stavros Lambrinidis, and ministers and ambassadors from nations large and small. New U.K. Prime Minister Boris Johnson is...

They’re at it again. A slew of A-list celebrities have flocked to Sicily, Italy on private jets and massive yachts to discuss the woes of global warming caused, they say, but things like private jets and massive yachts. The founders of Google invited a a throng of the rich and famous, including former President Barack Obama, Prince Harry, actor Leonardo DiCaprio and singer Katy Perry for a huge party they’ve dubbed Google Camp. “The three-day event will focus on fighting climate change — though it’s unknown how much time the attendees will spend discussing their own effect on the environment,...

From today forward, Joe Scarborough should never call himself a conservative again. If there is one thing that unites all conservatives, including critics of President Trump, it's praise for his excellent judicial appointments. But on today's Morning Joe, Scarborough actually criticized President Trump's judicial nominees. If there were any doubt, that ensconces Scarborough firmly in the liberal camp. Scarborough did so in the context of saying that Marianne Williamson struck the right tone last night's Dem debate, because people aren't interested in hearing the details of Bernie's healthcare plan. Instead, claimed Scarborough: "Americans want to hear about how Donald Trump...

Over the weekend, President Trump tweeted that he was considering designating the radical leftist group Antifa as a terrorist organization. This is a good idea and can’t happen fast enough at this point. The internet and social media are replete with acts of violence being perpetrated by Antifa thugs and it is high time that they were stopped, their personnel rolled up and charged with crimes and their supporters charged with material support for terrorism.

China has announced its decision to uphold a North Carolina pastor’s seven-year prison sentence for "organizing illegal border crossings" — a crime more commonly applied to human traffickers — despite his appeal. Pastor John Cao, who along with a fellow Christian teacher allegedly crossed the China-Myanmar border last March, filed an appeal for being wrongfully convicted of “organizing illegal border crossings” in 2018. After postponing Cao’s hearing several times, a court in China’s Yunnan province announced on July 25 it had decided to uphold the sentence, persecution watching group International Christian Concern reported. The court was “surrounded by a heavy...
