Over the weekend, President Trump tweeted that he was considering designating the radical leftist group Antifa as a terrorist organization.
This is a good idea and can’t happen fast enough at this point.
The internet and social media are replete with acts of violence being perpetrated by Antifa thugs and it is high time that they were stopped, their personnel rolled up and charged with crimes and their supporters charged with material support for terrorism.

The president is probably waiting for antifa to make one more terrorist attack before he designates them as a terrorist organization.

Klantifa has no membership rolls or official structure so how does one identify a member? If you say “go after anyone who masks their face” you may - or may not actually snare one. And as soon as anyone begins arrests based on that condition they will simply change their MO.

A foreign terrorist organization, based out of eastern Europe and launching protest operations and sometimes escalating to violent attacks across the iron curtain. These guys aren't like PETA or MADD, they are like Hamas.

I will further point out that you are uneducated as to what ANTIFA is, what its history is, what resources it has, and yet in your ignorance you are advising others to take it too lightly.
Back in the Carter and Reagan years (even as far away as Asia) we got intelligence dispatches on some of their activities.
These aren’t just guys who commit arson and hit people with metal objects swung by hand. They are far more violent with that when they get going.
In the past they have brought rocket propelled antitank grenades and mortars into play.

I give POTUS high praise for saying what we think and feel but below average for actually making talk into action especially with Antifa.
Gutfeld made a good observation on The Five the other day, he seems to think that just outlawing face masks in public would probably calm things way down as these people do not want to get noticed (or identified by their mommies and daddies).
However, in viewing statistics which is what they do in cases such as these it was brought up that the Crips and the Bloods have caused far more meyhem and if identifying antifa as a terrorist organization there might also want to be inclusion other groups that have done far more damage and taken for more human life within the borders of this country.
