JOHN RATCLIFFE: The Mueller Report, it's really going to be difficult for the Democrats or anyone to rely upon the findings of a report when they just listened to the man whose name was on top of it, not have a command of what was even in it. JOE SCARBOROUGH: Well, you know what a clown show for a guy like that to be attacking a Marine hero, a guy that changed the FBI. He doesn’t know what Robert Mueller did or didn’t do. Maybe he didn’t give a type of performance that Ratcliffe gave, the screaming and humiliating himself....

When Robert Mueller testified before the House Judiciary and Intelligence committees last week, the biggest take-away was that the former special counsel did not know the name Fusion GPS—the firm the Clinton campaign hired to produce the Steele dossier. The breadth of Mueller’s ignorance, hedging, and silence in response to questions posed to him, however, was truly expansive. While much of the criticism leveled at Mueller following his testimony focused on his ignorance of key facts and his confusion over the details contained in the special counsel’s report, the following seven lines of inquiry show Mueller knew exactly what he...

A study by the University of Pennsylvania contradicts the establishment-media narrative that racism in America has increased since the election of Donald Trump in 2016. In fact, the panel survey, which tracked people over a 10-year period, found there has been a decline in white racial prejudice against African Americans and Hispanic Americans since Trump’s election, Campus Reform reported. Titled “The Rise of Trump, the Fall of Prejudice? Tracking White Americans’ Racial Attitudes 2008-2018 via a Panel Survey,” the report was authored by Penn political science professor Daniel J. Hopkins and research assistant Samantha Washington. “We find that via most...

A 71-year-old man in Tennessee will probably die in the coming days. He made two final requests of his son, Jessie Goodman. He wanted his funeral at Lee’s Chapel Baptist Church in Sweetwater, which was the first church he ever attended, and he wanted Jessie to sing the hymn “The Anchor Holds” at the service. Simple enough. Jessie gave the church a call and everything seemed to be in order for the eventual service… until Pastor Jay Scruggs found out Jessie was in a same-sex relationship. Now Scruggs is refusing to hold the funeral...

American women are having fewer children than ever before, according to a new report from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s National Center for Health Statistics. The general fertility rate declined two percent between 2017 and 2018 among girls and women aged 15 to 44, while the teen birth rate dropped seven percent in the same time frame. This news comes after a separate report revealed that the nation’s total fertility rate was beneath what is needed for the population to replace itself.

President Trump responded to MSNBC host Rev. Al Sharpton saying he is headed to Baltimore, shredding the former Democratic Party candidate as a conman who hates cops and white people. Sharpton’s trip to Baltimore comes after Trump blasted Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD), whose House District includes West Baltimore, for the city’s horrible living conditions. Trump in turn has been attacked by Democrats and the media with the smear “racist”.

[Catholic Caucus] Upheaval at John Paul II Family Institute Abp. Vincenzo Paglia oversees sweeping changes at academic institute devoted to marriage and family ROME (ChurchMilitant.com) - Concerns are being raised about major changes unfolding at a pro-family, pro-marriage academic institute overseen by the Vatican. The Pontifical John Paul II Theological Institute for Marriage and Family Science is in the middle of a major shake-up, according to a piece released Wednesday in Italian Catholic publication La Nuova Bussola Quotidiana. Two priests who were chairs of moral theology at the institute, Fr. José Noriega and Msgr. Livio Melina, have now been dismissed from their roles there, as...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Democratic presidential contenders have some inconvenient truths to grapple with. It's not easy, for example, to summon foreboding words on the economy — accurately — when the U.S. has been having its longest expansion in history. Health care for all raises questions of costs to average taxpayers that the candidates are loath to confront head on. And in slamming President Donald Trump relentlessly for his treatment of migrants, the Democrats gloss over the record of President Barack Obama (and his vice president, Joe Biden), whose administration deported them by the millions and housed many children in...

U.S. presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders said it’s an “embarrassment” that Americans have to travel to Canada to buy cheaper medicine, pointing once again to Canada’s health-care system as a model for his country to emulate as he joined a group of diabetics on a trip to Ontario on Sunday. The Vermont senator, who is among the nearly two-dozen contendors vying for the Democratic presidential nomination, was in Windsor, Ont., with a group of American diabetics looking to buy insulin at a lower cost. “It is an embarrassment for those of us who are Americans,” Sanders told reporters outside a pharmacy....

The Toronto Rapors won an NBA title this June by limiting Kawhi Leonard’s games and minutes coming off an injury-filled 2017-18 season. Deemed “load management,” resting Leonard during the regular season allowed him to dominate in the postseason. The NFL is a copycat league, and perhaps teams will try to borrow from the NBA champs to win a title of their own. The term “load management” came to mind when Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley told reporters on Sunday that he will follow a “veteran plan” to maintain his health this season.

President Trump laid into the Rev. Al Sharpton on Monday, calling him a “con man, a troublemaker” after the civil rights activist announced he would hold a news conference to talk about the president’s comments about Baltimore. ”I have known Al for 25 years. Went to fights with him & Don King, always got along well. He loved Trump! He would ask me for favors often& Trump wrote on Twitter about the founder of the National Action Network. “Al is a con man, a troublemaker, always looking for a score. Just doing his thing. Must have intimidated Comcast/NBC. Hates Whites...

A top Republican investigator said accountability is coming for any of those individuals who may have committed crimes during the Trump-Russia investigation. With the Justice Department conducting a review of that operation, Rep. John Ratcliffe said during a Fox News interview Sunday that he trusts Attorney General William Barr and Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz to provide answers. And while Ratcliffe said he does not want to prematurely accuse any specific person of a crime — as Democrats have done with President Trump — he stressed that it is clear crimes were committed by people during the Obama administration,...

h/t Dr. Willie Soon; According to Foreign Policy, moving “beyond Democracy” towards an authoritarian Chinese system would allow governments to override the climate obstructionism of older voters, but they have concerns about the societal disruption the transition to authoritarianism would cause. DEMOCRACY IS THE PLANET’S BIGGEST ENEMY Young people care a lot about climate change—but most of them can’t vote. Here’s how governments can adapt to accommodate them. BY DAVID RUNCIMAN JULY 20, 2019 In today’s Britain, a rare public figure can bring together Brexiteers and Remainers, Conservatives and Labour. Yet the teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg did just that...

I would happily boycott Egypt or Saudi Arabia for human rights violations, Tlaib insists, responding to Tapper’s question. Okay, he says. Then why don’t you? I would do it if those boycott movements existed, she replies, or if there was a resolution on the House floor to that effect.

Until a few days ago, I was convinced that the expeditionary advanced base operations concept was one of the dumbest ideas to come down the pike in a long time. This developing concept envisions the Marine Corps seizing and establishing a persistent presence on key maritime terrain (islands and chokepoints). By emplacing long range weapons systems within these bases, marines would create an anti-access envelope, within which enemy ships and aircraft would find it difficult and hopefully impossible to operate. As far as I was concerned, this concept, known in military circles by its acronym, “EABO,” was another of those...

The DCCC is now in complete chaos,” the pair said in a statement to POLITICO. “The single most immediate action that Cheri Bustos can take to restore confidence in the organization and to promote diversity is to appoint a qualified person of color, of which there are many, as executive director at once. We find the silence of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus on this issue to be deafening.”

Robert Mueller’s confused, garbled testimony made it abundantly clear that he was nothing more than a figurehead for the Special Counsel investigation that he ostensibly led for 22 painstaking months. The real mastermind behind this travesty of an investigation was Mueller’s second-in-command, Andrew Weissmann, and it’s time that he be held to account. First, there are deeply vexing questions that remain to be answered about the Russia collusion scandal—and the American people deserve to know exactly what went on during this witch hunt. For instance, when, precisely, did the investigation start? Why did the special counsel staff his team with...
