VERNON -- Rebekah Bruesehoff hasn't always been comfortable in her own skin. Around the age of 7, she talked about not wanting to be alive, her mother, Jamie Bruesehoff, said. "She didn't enjoy anything, she had anxiety, was really distressed and depression came with that," Jamie said. "She just kind of lost the light in her." It wasn't until after Rebekah hit a crisis point that her family became aware of the reason for the distress -- her gender. She'd been born a boy, but in her heart, she knew she was a girl. Two years after her transition, Rebekah says much has...

Trump adviser says White House 'will see things change very rapidly' under new chief of staff Top White House aide Sebastian Gorka warned White House leakers that President Trump’s new chief of staff John Kelly “is a man you do not toy with” during an interview Saturday on Fox News’ “Fox & Friends Weekend.” Gorka made his comments the day after Attorney General Jeff Sessions delivered a press conference in which he vowed to stomp out the “culture of leaking” that has plagued President Donald Trump and his administration ever since he took office in January. "Yesterday we had the...

"If I have the gift of prophecy . . . but do not have love, I am nothing" (1 Cor. 13:2). Love motivated God to communicate with fallen humanity. That must be your motivation too. The word prophecy as used in 1 Corinthians 13:2 is the ability to publicly proclaim God's truth accurately and authoritatively. It's a greater gift than tongues because tongues were given as a sign to unbelieving Israel in the first century (1 Cor. 14:21-22), whereas prophecy instructs and edifies believers throughout the centuries. Paul said, "one who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and...

“And if we have food and covering, with these we shall be content” (1 Timothy 6:8). God wants believers’ lives to be simplified, free from the burdens of material cares. Today’s verse declares how Christians ought to be free from material distractions. The apostle Paul asserts that life’s basic needs should be adequate to satisfy believers. He does not say it is wrong to own nice things, especially if God providentially allows you to have them. What is wrong is to have a selfish craving for money because you are discontent. The highest goal of the Christian life is to...

Although the liberal media is purposely avoiding the fact that the Trump-Russia collusion investigation is, as CNN's Van Jones noted in a candid moment, a big "nothing burger" most of the public has already reached that conclusion. Thus far Bob Mueller and his team of Democrat-donating investigators have only come up with a quickie inconclusive 20 minute meeting between Donald Trump, Jr. and a Russian lawyer. Hardly time for "collusion." This might explain why they are now on a fishing expedition for matters completely unrelated to Russia. Meanwhile the public appears to be fed up with the Russia investigation to...

Refrigerators were originally used to store just a few perishable essentials such as meat and milk. In fact, the first electric units of the 1920s were only slightly bigger than modern mini-fridges. Nearly 100 years later, refrigerators are bigger than ever and used to store the bulk of the food consumed by a household. Americans spend anywhere from $130 to just under $300 a week stocking up on food for a family of four, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. But those numbers include dry goods that wouldn't be kept in the refrigerator and leave out fridge such staples...

The mother of the boy at the center of a flap with J.K. Rowling says it’s not President Donald Trump who did the snubbing, but Congress. “You want to know who snubbed my son? Congress snubbed my kid in D.C. when they failed to pass meaningful legislation. Everyone missed the point of why we were there [the White House] in the first place. They [Congress] didn’t come up with a dynamic plan and they didn’t go out and sell it to the American people. If they have a plan, what is it and where is it?” Rowling recently accused Trump...

Normally it wouldn’t make news when a president touts the work of a cabinet member. As the old song goes, that’s the way I always heard it should be. But in the Trump administration, “dog bites man” can easily become “man bites dog.” Thus, it’s news that President Trump is praising Attorney General Sessions for cracking down on illegal leaks of classified information. Writing on (where else) Twitter, Trump declared: “After many years of LEAKS going on in Washington, it is great to see the A.G. taking action! For National Security, the tougher the better!”

On Friday, the Huffington Post reported FOX News host Eric Bolling sent photos of his genitalia to multiple female co-workers. FOX News suspended Bolling on Saturday and has launched a full investigation into the matter. One of the accusers is a left-wing anti-Trump professor named Caroline Heldman. Big League Politics reports: Suspended Fox News host Eric Bolling’s first public accuser is a major left-wing activist who held a protest sign at President Trump’s inauguration accusing the president of being a rapist.

So at what point is this a court martial offense? The admiral is openly defying the President who is drafting policy with the Pentagon to end transgender individuals in the military. The ban is going to do three things when fully implemented: **It will end the practice of individuals signing up for military service to get their transgender fantasies fulfilled and fully paid for by the federal government. **It will eliminate incredibly costly treatments **It will rollback the creeping politically correct culture infecting the military, the military is not there for social experimentation… it is there to defend the United...

On Friday evening, the New York Times published a statement allegedly issued by President Trump in support of H.R. McMaster after the National Security Advisor came under heavy fire for his anti-Israel views and firing Trump loyalists. Former Trump campaign manager, Roger Stone, says the White House issued the statement without President Trump’s approval.

When President Donald Trump and other world leaders gather at the United Nations next month for the annual U.N. General Assembly, Trump may have a message for his fellow heads of state: “C’mon over to my golf club in New Jersey.” Trump is considering inviting an unspecified number of world leaders to the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, New Jersey, in the days surrounding the annual global gathering at the U.N. in New York City, the Washington Post reported. The U.S. president is expected to address the General Assembly for the first time Sept. 19 and also meet with...

Senators Tom Cotton and Ben Sasse have already been to Iowa this year, Gov. John Kasich is eyeing a return visit to New Hampshire, and Mike Pence’s schedule is so full of political events that Republicans joke that he is acting more like a second-term vice president hoping to clear the field than a No. 2 sworn in a little over six months ago. President Trump’s first term is ostensibly just warming up, but luminaries in his own party have begun what amounts to a shadow campaign for 2020 — as if the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue weren’t...

US miliary officials have effectively confirmed they don't expect to find three Marines missing after their aircraft crashed off Queensland's coast alive and say recovery attempts could drag on for months. Authorities on Sunday suspended search and rescue operations less than 24 hours after their aircraft crashed off Queensland's coast while trying to land. The US Navy and Marine Corp - with help from the Australian Defence Force - are now focusing their efforts on salvage and recovery, which they warn could take several months. The three missing marines' next-of-kin have been notified, the Marine base Camp Butler in Japan...

This is just a general "I gotta get this off my chest" session. The title of my post could have taken on so many different variations. Is Trump Really Going to Lose it All? Everywhere I Look I See Disaster Why is Drudge Report Reporting So Many Negative Trump Stories? Is Trump Really Going to be Impeached? I think the list could be endless. No matter where I look people are reporting doom and gloom for Donald Trump. The Rats are after him, most of the GOP are after him, Soros is after him and the Lame Stream Media is...

The most tempting, obvious epithet for the enthusiasm with which the Trump administration is scaring displaced Haitians out of the United States is shameful. Utterly, debasingly, shameful. But you might as well scold a dog for farting. Trump and his cohort are shameless. They're most likely proposing toasts, grinning and backslapping; waves of (black) foreigners are fleeing America, voluntarily. Even better, they're landing up in Canada. Prissy, hectoring, self-righteous Canada. It's a beautiful thing. Let the refugee-lovers up there have them. We're making America great again. Never mind, of course, that these particular Haitians were effectively invited to the United...

If you haven't seen it and like westerns I like to recomend 2003 'The Missing' with Tommy Lee Jones. Lots of great New Mexico scenery and I believe a good historical look at what makes up the soul of the land of both Enchantment and Entrapment.

The case of a Muslim pupil refusing to remove her niqab triggered debate in Lower Saxony. Now a new law may mean that full-face Islamic veils will no longer be allowed in state schools. The state of Lower Saxony is expected to announce a ban on face veils such as burqas and niqabs in schools in August, following a unanimous decision by the state parliament on Thursday to amend current education policies, reports the Branschweiger Zeitung. A niqab covers the whole body except for a slit for the eyes, whereas a burqa fully covers the body including the eyes. The...
