Although the liberal media is purposely avoiding the fact that the Trump-Russia collusion investigation is, as CNN's Van Jones noted in a candid moment, a big "nothing burger" most of the public has already reached that conclusion. Thus far Bob Mueller and his team of Democrat-donating investigators have only come up with a quickie inconclusive 20 minute meeting between Donald Trump, Jr. and a Russian lawyer. Hardly time for "collusion." This might explain why they are now on a fishing expedition for matters completely unrelated to Russia.
Meanwhile the public appears to be fed up with the Russia investigation to nowhere and the Mueller fishing expedition. As a result Politico is now worried that this will boomerang upon the Democrats in upcoming elections. Politico's David Siders worries about this today in Democrats fear Russia probe blowback:

Probably a good reason to keep him and let him sink the Demonrats. Nobody will ever take Mueller seriously again.
The collusion thing is going to be next to impossible to prove...as long as no money shifted around and no promises were made. This has been said for several months now.
I think Mueller’s next angle might be tax fraud because they are looking for tax submissions and business deals. Because no wording was inserted on the exact crime...this becomes strictly a fishing expedition. But I would suggest that the minute that a single detail comes out via a leak from Mueller’s staff...they will be grounded for weeks and months while the AG appoints another independent prosecutor to review how the protected info got out. In a way, I think this is a baited trap for Mueller and his team. Trump might actually wrap up eight years before Mueller can proceed on with his investigation.

He may be no good, but we/Trump doesn’t need to play into his hands. You can be sure Trump is getting very good advice on this. He’s playing it cool and the American people are on his side.
Anything they think they find on Trump prior to January 20, 2017 has to be dealt with AFTER Trump leaves office. He cannot be impeached for anything that happened before he was sworn it.
If they want to indict him then they have to impeach him first which they will never have the evidence to do.

This is just a 24/7/365 smear campaign, part of the 2018 mid-terms strategy. Saw the same thing here in NJ with Chris Christie and “bridgegate”; never tied to him, but 95% of the public think he’s guilty. You don’t need evidence if the TV says it’s true 24/7/365...
