There's a new complaint against Rochester Judge Leticia Astacio. She is accused of violating the conditions of her probation. The complaint was filed on Friday after her ankle monitoring device reportedly detected alcohol. According to News 10 NBC, Astacio's lawyer blames the reading on body lotion containing alcohol. The apparent violation was on July 14th, one day after Astacio got out of jail. A hearing is set for Wednesday. Judge Astacio recently served jail time. She has been ordered to spend three years on probation and six months with an ankle monitor for violating the conditions of her conditional discharge...

Alvi Awan was suspected of helping swindle $283,000 from banks and was busted carrying over $12,400 in undocumented cash when the FBI caught up with her at Dulles International Airport in March. But incredibly Awan — the wife of Imran Awan, the IT specialist and con man employed by Democratic Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was arrested last week for bank fraud — was never detained or forced to stay in the United States. Her arrest in fact was blocked by then-FBI Director James Comey and then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, FBI sources said. So federal agents and Capitol Police watched...

he Governor of Kentucky is lashing out at local news broadcasters after one flew a drone over his multi-million dollar mansion which critics say he purchased in a 'sweetheart' property deal. In March, Governor Matt Bevin purchased a 150-year-old restored mansion and 10 acres of land in Anchorage, Jefferson County for an estimated $1.6 million from Neil Ramsey, a friend and Bevin campaign donor, according to the Courier-Journal. Bevin decided to buy the home after determining that the 25-room, 18,428-square foot Governor's mansion in Frankfort was difficult to secure and not suitable for his large family. Bevin has a wife...

It seems that people love everything about Apple's tablet -- except the price. One of the biggest complaints I've seen leveled against the iPad is that it was too expensive compared to other tablets, and that the high price was acting as a barrier to sales. Turns out that was true. The iPad is an interesting device. Once seen as possibly the successor to the iPhone, it's one of those devices that burned brightly, but burned itself out very quickly, going from launch to peak sales in under four years, and ever since it's been in steady decline.

Six people, including four clerks at the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles, were arrested Wednesday in connection with an alleged scheme to produce false identification documents. According to a statement from the U.S. attorney's office, "some of the false identities and addresses were used to fraudulently register to vote in the City of Boston." The investigation began in October 2015, when state police received an anonymous letter that alleged, according to the U.S. attorney, "that a corrupt RMV employee was providing stolen identifications and drivers’ licenses to individuals seeking false identifications." The investigation revealed that the four RMV clerks —...

On Tuesday, August 1, Media Research Center President Brent Bozell issued the following statement: On behalf of my late father and my family, I am denouncing Senator Jeff Flake and his new book, dishonestly titled, Conscience of a Conservative. Since entering the Senate in 2013, Jeff Flake has, time and again, proven he is part of the indulgent hypocrisy in Washington. While he waxes poetically about conservative principles, his Conservative Review Liberty score is an abysmal 53%, also known as: “F”. In 2013, I watched first-hand as Flake refused to sign a letter pledging to defund ObamaCare, among his...

Did you happen to see a 1,700-pound barbecue pit atop a two-wheel trailer traveling down Albuquerque streets “ashes and smoke billowing out of the back” early Sunday morning? Daniel Morgan, proprietor of Pepper’s Ole Fashion BBQ, wants to know. Morgan said a thief took the black and red 200-gallon smoker from his restaurant’s parking lot on San Pedro and Copper between midnight and 5 a.m. Sunday. The smoker was cooking up a batch of brisket when it was taken. “What on God’s earth do you think they would want with it?” Morgan asked Sunday evening, later wondering if the person...

Judges in 11 cases in Wales gave unduly lenient sentences to thugs convicted of offences including MURDER. Sean Buckley, 29, was found guilty of murdering his partner’s 17-month old son, Finley Thomas, at Cardiff Crown Court in June last year. Finley’s mother Chloe Thomas, 25, was convicted of child cruelty because she failed to intervene while her son was suffering at Buckley’s hands. Buckley left Finley with a fractured skull and broken ribs. He claimed the youngster had fallen down the stairs. Finley also had historical injuries consistent with being assaulted, neglected and having been exposed to illegal and prescription...

There is a longtime and incestuous relationship between the fixers who have been tasked with taking down President Trump, under the fake narrative of enforcing the law. James Comey worked in the DOJ directly under Mueller until 2005. Rod Rosenstein and Mueller go even further back. James Comey wasn’t just some associate of Mueller back then, but rather his protégé. Under the George W. Bush presidency, when Comey was serving as Deputy Attorney General under John Ashcroft, Robert Mueller was Comey’s go-to guy when he needed help. We look back at Rod’s loyal work for Hillary Clinton, when he became...

The Council on American-Islamic Relations is alleging someone at the McDonald's off Point Mallard Parkway intentionally placed small pieces of bacon in a Muslim family's McChicken sandwiches. Most Muslims do not eat pork products, such as bacon, for religious reasons. A McDonald's executive said in a statement Tuesday that the restaurant is looking into the matter. “We want to assure our customers that this was not an intentional act by our employees,” Rick Walter, local McDonald’s owner/operator, said through a Nashville public relations firm. “We value every customer and strive to ensure all orders are accurately prepared and served." The family...

“Never underestimate the determination of a kid who is time-rich and cash-poor.” ― Cory DoctorowWhat a story!Lizzy Worthington isn’t a typical girl from Iowa, although she’s much like the ones I know. She is a Girl Scout and a member of her high school trap shooting team, the BGM Shotgunners.Practicing was difficult for Lizzy, whose closest range was about 45 minutes away, so she decided that for her Girl Scout Gold Award Project, she was going to build a trap shooting range closer to home.“Go big or go home,” Lizzy told a reporter with KWWL.The Bear Creek Range took two years and $50,000...

Democrats, after analyzing their miserable 2016 showing, found voters didn’t know where the party stood on key economic issues. Starting now, they want to build an economic identity so that their candidates can run next year on something more than just opposition to President Trump. The pressure point, however, is crafting an agenda that balances the needs of energizing anti-Trump liberal activists without driving away centrist voters and Republicans disillusioned with the president and the lack of results coming from the GOP-led Congress. Without winning a significant bloc of Republican voters in next year’s Senate races, Democrats will fall deeper...

The Phillies will not enshrine Pete Rose on the team's wall of fame at Citizens Bank Ballpark this weekend, canceling the ceremony honoring baseball's all-time hits leader only days before it was scheduled to take place. The team's announcement was prefaced with "Due to recent events …," an apparent reference to news this week, via court documents in Ohio, that Rose acknowledged having sex with a female who was younger than 16, though the former MLB star and manager claimed to believe she was of legal age at the time of the extramarital affair in the 1970s while he was...

RUSH: Now, on this White-House-is-a-dump business, I’ve never been to Trump’s golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The story is at TheHill.com: Trump has reportedly denounced his White House digs, telling members at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club that the White House is “a real dump.” Sports Illustrated has also written the story. I just can tell you this. I was at the White House, Kathryn and I were at the White House on March 23rd for about five hours.
