The Australian Academy of Science’s investigation was prompted by the CSIRO announcement in 2016 that the research agency was going to sack about 100 climate scientists – a...

Late night MSNBC anchor Brian Williams on Friday cheered the “moral courage” of John McCain and two other Republicans to derail ObamaCare repeal efforts. The journalist also hoped for GOP “heroes” in the mode of Republicans who stood up during Watergate. Narrating McCain’s vote against repeal, Williams touted, “In the well of the Senate, it came down to one very dramatic moment... Much was made of that moment, a moment of moral courage, a man staring down his own mortality yet again.” Not wanting to leave out the other two GOP moderates, he asked former radio host Charlie Sykes: “My...

If you’re one of those students who dreads math — especially algebra — you’ll soon get a bit of a break at the California State University system. For years, intermediate algebra had been a prerequisite for the system’s general math classes, meaning even students who weren’t majoring in math or science related fields had to complete the course before they could complete their math requirement. Beginning in the fall of 2018, students whose majors aren’t math or science heavy will be able to fulfill their math requirements without slogging through intermediate algebra first — part of a larger effort to...

And again, this is legal immigration. And, folks, the Democrats and the media are having a daily conniption fit. They are beside themselves today because Trump’s immigration program is merit-based, English language is preferred, exactly like Canada has, by the way, exactly like New Zealand and Australia and many other countries that the left hail as enlightened, and in fact much the way our legal immigration used...

This is a very powerful testimony of a man who's not only a former atheist, but was violently and criminally disturbed. He attempted to kill his father, and only by the grace of God did his father survive. He was diagnosed as antisocial (sociopathic) while in prison. It was a Christian cellmate who over time, by his example, led him to question his atheistic beliefs and think about turning to Jesus.

Their bags were packed and gone. Officers swept through DAR Constitution Hall. They were nowhere to be found. Police now say that two of the six were seen crossing into Canada, and they don't suspect foul play with any of them. A member of the...

AMD recently unveiled something truly remarkable today – a server rack that has a total processing power of 1 PetaFLOPs. That’s 10 to the power of 15 floating point operations per second or 20 to the power of 15 half precision FLOPs. Here’s the kicker though: a decade ago in 2007, a computer of the same power would have required roughly 6000 square feet of area and thousands of processors to power. A decade ago, this would have been one of the most powerful supercomputers on Earth, and today, its a server rack.AMD’s Project 47 unveiled: 1 PetaFLOPs of single...

Prince Philip, 96, has retired from official royal engagements in his own inimitable style by joking with Royal Marines they should be 'locked up' for their madcap fundraising efforts. As a former Royal Navy officer Philip's last public solo event, after more than 65 years championing his own causes and charities, fittingly featured men from the Royal Marines, an integral part of the Navy. But from the demeanour of the Queen's Consort you would never have guessed he was retiring after carrying out 22,219 solo engagements since 1952. The Duke of Edinburgh waved warmly to the crowds, acknowledging their cheers...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump and two Republican senators on Wednesday unveiled a plan at the White House to half the number of legal immigrants to the United States eventually and favor newcomers who speak English. The legislation faces an uphill climb to get through Congress. "This competitive application process will favor applicants who...
