Fox News offered its own retort outside of social media. "We learned from a secret back channel that the Ayatollah and Putin both intend to treat Donald Trump unfairly when they meet with him if he becomes president -- a nefarious source tells us that Trump has his own secret plan to replace the Cabinet with his Twitter followers to see if he should even go to those meetings," a Fox News spokesperson said in a statement Tuesday.

The Republicans Who Fought Chris McDaniel in Mississippi, Tried to Use Mike Huckabee Against Ted Cruz This is a fascinating article that shows just how much contempt for Ted Cruz the Republican Establishment has. They absolutely hate the guy.In fact, Henry Barbour, who helped scuttle conservatives in Mississippi in the race between Chris McDaniel and Thad Cochran, tried to raise money for a Mike Huckabee supporting super PAC for the sole purpose of attacking Ted Cruz. Mr. Barbour was so exasperated by the intra-establishment combat that this month he sought to raise money for the super PAC supporting Mike Huckabee...

GOP frontrunner Donald Trump will ‘definitely not’ be participating in Fox News’s GOP debate on Thursday, according to the Trump campaign. “He’s definitely not participating in the Fox News debate,†Trump’s campaign manager Corey Lewandowski told The Washington Post. “His word is his bond.†During a press conference on Tuesday evening, Trump told reporters he would hold an event to raise money for veterans instead of attending the debate. Trump has called for Fox News’s Megyn Kelly to be removed as a debate moderator because he said she was not fair to him in the previous debate.

I hate to draw parallels to video games concerning real world, life or death issues, but this is what you get for camping. Seriously though, these boys were literally camped out in this spot with bed rolls and blankets.

Barack Obama will be out of a job next year. And one voter in Iowa had a suggestion for Hillary Clinton, should she become president: Nominate him to the Supreme Court. "Wow. What a great idea. Nobody has ever suggested that to me. Wow," Clinton said to laughter and applause from the audience. "He may have a few other things to do," Clinton added. After noting how the next president will nominate "at least three" Supreme Court justices and that she isn't happy with the current Supreme Court, Clinton went back to the voter's question. "I would certainly take that...

A judge in Coeur d’Alene imposed a sentence Monday of life in prison for a Mexican man who admitted killing his wife and stepdaughter a year and a half ago. Angel Albertico Morales-Larranaga, 26, will serve two consecutive life sentences with no chance of parole for the strangling deaths of Facunda Valenzuelaleon, 24, and Dyanna M. Valencia, 6, inside a Post Falls apartment on July 8, 2014.

Imagine that in some future presidential election, two Mexican-American candidates are vying for the Dem nomination. The Dem front-runner announces he won't participate in the next debate. And a conservative pundit sneeringly says "who's going to watch a debate between the two Mexican guys?" Now imagine all hell descending on that hapless conservative for his breach of political correctness. Will anything similar befall Chris Matthews? Of course not. But on Hardball this evening, as news was breaking that Donald Trump won't participate in Thursday's debate in protest over Megyn Kelly's presence on the panel, Matthews said "who's going to watch...

The man known as "America's toughest sheriff" for his no-nonsense approach to law enforcement and his strong opposition to illegal immigration has endorsed Donald Trump for president. Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Maricopa County, Arizona, whose endorsement was announced Tuesday afternoon by the Trump campaign, was the first to sue Obama over his 2014 administrative orders, which allowed another 4 or 5 million illegal aliens to remain in the United States. When Trump announced his run for the White House, he took on Obama's open-borders policy, calling for a wall to be built on the southern border. In a statement about...

In a little-noticed November report, Bank of America announced that it had donated more than $60.1 million to various charitable funds and nonprofit groups. The donations were a good deal for Bank of America. For every dollar the bank gives, an independent monitor for the deal credits the bank with $2 toward the record $16.6 billion settlement with the Justice Department on financial fraud charges it signed in August 2014. To date, the donations have reduced that penalty by $138 million.

I hear public figures in the conservative movement - including those who don't support Trump - say the following thing all the time: "The Establishment caused Trump." This is a ridiculous non sequitur and I wish people would quit saying it. It isn't true, and it gives people an excuse to support a man who represents all the worst abuses of the Establishment. Let me state this as simply as I can: Mitch McConnell's liberalism is not a good excuse to vote for a liberal. Now let me break it down a little further. I completely get the anger over...

"Being diligent to preserve the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace" (Ephesians 4:3). The key to peace in the church is selfless love. People often delude themselves that there is peace when there is no real peace (Jer. 8:11). However, we can show the world that Jesus is the true peacemaker if we have a community of peaceful, loving, united believers. Others will realize then that Christ must be sent from God, because only God can make true, lasting peace. "The bond of peace" is what holds our unity together. The Greek word translated "bond" refers to...

"I pray that . . . you may know . . . what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints" (Eph. 1:18). How you perceive your spiritual resources dictates how you live. Throughout Ephesians 1 Paul is clearly struck with the magnificence of our inheritance in Christ. Here he prays that we will know the riches of its glory. Some commentators see "His inheritance" as a reference to believers, who are God's inheritance or special possession (v. 14). That view stresses the value God places on us as believers, as demonstrated in Christ's death, the...

If a 2009 Chevy Malibu got in a head-on collision with a 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air, which car would emerge with the least amount of damage? At first glance, you'd expect an old tank like the Bel Air to obliterate the Malibu, right? But nothing could be further from the truth.

This analysis shows why the Litvinenko Inquiry was a farce and why its report is in the end worthless. The Judge who headed the Inquiry was obsessed with proving the Russian state murdered Litvinenko. In order to prove what he always believed he threw legal procedure out of the window and interpreted the evidence how he wanted. In the end even he could not prove that the Russian state murdered Litvinenko, which is why he could only say they “probably†did. In reality the facts - if looked at objectively - show the Russian state almost certainly did not murder...

Last week Kathleen Parker, the resident almost-but-not quite-liberal at the Washington Post, loaded up and fired at the Republican Party and its melodrama in her weekly op-ed column. It showcased Ms. Parker at her irritating best, smug and condescending, but not truly original. She used her space to argue that the GOP needs Nikki Haley to save itself from itself, she furthered argued that a Hillary Clinton victory would be a win for "rationality," and a loss for the "authoritarian personalities" who increasingly populate the Republican Party base. Like many of her colleagues in the mainstream media, Kathleen Parker seems...

Swedish police were forced to run for their lives after being attacked by a mob of asylum seekers as they tried to relocate amid allegations a 10-year-old boy had been 'raped repeatedly' at a refugee centre. Officers entered the centre in Västerås to save the young boy who had been reportedly attacked repeatedly by asylum seekers at the centre. Initially, staff in the centre tried to remove the boy but were stopped by the mob. Instead the staff called police for backup. One of the officers told the Vestmanlands Läns Tidning newspaper: 'Even more people appeared behind us. I was...

One Clinton at a time, please. The private invite to Chelsea Clinton's Wednesday night fund-raiser, to be held at a swanky Upper East Side residence, reads that it's in support of her mother's 2016 presidential bid. But some of the big spenders plunking down the big bucks to attend say Chelsea's future in politics has been the talk of her campaign rallies. "You're seeing the beginning of Chelsea Clinton preparing to run," says a donor who attended Chelsea's rally at Dr. Paul Boskind's Midtown home last week, where "limited availability guest" entry started at $250 and $2,700 "champion" tickets included...

Indiana may have lost as much as $60 million in hotel profits, tax revenue and other economic benefits when a dozen groups decided against hosting conventions in Indianapolis last year due at least in part to the controversy surrounding the state's religious objections law. A document prepared by the tourism group Visit Indy shows that the 12 out-of-state groups were surveyed and all said that the state's controversial law played a role in their decision to hold their events elsewhere. The document was obtained by The Associated Press ahead of its formal release Thursday. The Republican-backed law garnered quick and...

A new set of undercover videos has been released by Project Veritas, the organization started by young journalist James O'Keefe who exposed ACORN in 2009 and NPR in 2011, resulting in the resignation of top officials at both organizations. The new videos reveal the mindset of the people who developed the Common Core education materials and the publishers who profit from it. The expose comes just in time for the opening of this year's Education Policy Conference in St. Louis, which is the essential event for parents, citizens and educators concerned about what our children are being taught (and not...
