This analysis shows why the Litvinenko Inquiry was a farce and why its report is in the end worthless.
The Judge who headed the Inquiry was obsessed with proving the Russian state murdered Litvinenko. In order to prove what he always believed he threw legal procedure out of the window and interpreted the evidence how he wanted.
In the end even he could not prove that the Russian state murdered Litvinenko, which is why he could only say they âprobablyâ did.
In reality the facts - if looked at objectively - show the Russian state almost certainly did not murder Litvinenko and played no part in his death.
The Inquiry and its report actually say more about the pathological hostility to Russia of some sections of the British establishment than they do about the Litvinenko case.
The first point to grasp about the Public Inquiry that has now delivered its verdict in the Litvinenko case is that it should never have happened at all.
The second point is that Inquiryâs decision that the Russian authorities were âprobablyâ behind Litvinenkoâs murder is unsustainable and makes no sense.

Long and thorough analysis.
Putin propaganda.
The Litvinenko Inquiry is British propaganda as well.

It would not surprise me if Putin was involved. But Litvinenko had several enemies who appeared to have stronger motives, including two oligarchs.
That’s a good website, for some reason the link didn’t come out but I’ve read it.
Russia Insider?
Hahahahahahaha!
What’s next, Pravda?
It is a Ukrainian propaganda website partially financed by the USG’s NED and the Czech Foreign Ministry.
They said Putin “probably” had a hand in it ... how ridiculous ... either he did or didn’t ... turnabout is fair play because there is a relentless, untruthful, and impotent propaganda attack on Russia constantly ... of course they will respond
“The author, a distinguished British lawyer”
Distinguished? Nut job who had a nervous breakdown and was disbarred.
Russia didn’t extradite the accused, UK can say Putin did it and if they don’t like it, tough, they didn’t defend themselves.
The inquiry chairman was Sir Robert Owen; I don’t know if any names in the article you posted are part of the Litvenenko investigation, is this a prop trick or what?

The author of this RI article is Alexander Mercouris a disgraced and disbarred attorney.
Russia Insider is a vile propaganda outlet. For example here - http://russia-insider.com/en/us-historian-stalin-not-guilty-major-war-crime-blamed-him-katyn/ri6305 - it attempts to push the old Soviet lie denying Soviet mass murder of the Poles in Katyn.
Russian opposition figures killed, journalists, military found dead, an RT founder found dead in a DC hotel last November, that still being investigated. A mad dog strongman in Chechnya openingly threatening those who don’t see eye to eye with Putin. There is not much reason to believe their press.
