A South San Jose neighborhood has had enough with a growing homeless camp that has been behind their homes for years. The state is now stepping in to kick the encampment out. For the five year he has lived in the Pinehurst neighborhood, Harlow Blub said he has dealt with some rowdy neighbors. “Totally frustrating, it’s been an endless struggle, it seems like,” Blum told KPIX 5. These neighbors don’t live next door. They live in a homeless encampment behind his backyard wall. “A lot of noise, they have pets back there, dogs are barking, sometimes they argue,” Blum said,...

".....We also tested Walker against all of the other potential Democratic candidates, and he leads them by wide margins. He's up 15 on both Lincoln Chafee (41/26) and Bernie Sanders (43/28), and 18 on both Martin O'Malley (43/25) and Jim Webb (44/26). Those large deficits are largely a function of the candidates' name recognition- because it's so low, only 53-58% of Democrats even commit to voting for those folks against Walker in a general election. But at any rate Clinton is by far and away the strongest candidate for the general in the Democratic field. The Republican primary field in...

Iran’s censors are struggling to keep Justin Bieber’s abs off Instagram. The tattooed pop star’s pouty, shirtless poses have recently reappeared on Iranian smartphones, along with lingerie shots of Kim Kardashian and red carpet photos of Jennifer Lopez. Mahmood Enayat of the London-based research group Small Media said a colleague in Iran confirmed he was able to access the racy images Wednesday. “I am sure he has enjoyed it,” Enayat said in a jokey

With passage of the Corker-Cardin Democrat protection bill, it has become abundantly clear that Senate Republicans are utterly useless. Due to the outrageously false perception of this bill, only 6 Republicans opposed shutting off debate (Sens. Cruz, Cotton, Grassley, Lee, Moran, and Sullivan) and only Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) voted against it in the final passage. Now it’s time for House conservatives to stand up and be counted. I’ve watched countless legislative fights over the years and have seldom seen such an outrageous level of dishonesty in selling a bill as something completely antithetical than its plain text political intent....

Authorities are looking for a teen who wanted a date with Destiny and hoped to get it by spray-painting a prom proposal on an Idaho cliffside. The Idaho Statesman reports that the message “Destiny, Prom?” was painted in large pink and blue letters on the side of the Black Cliffs, in a popular rock climbing spot, east of Boise. The Ada County sheriff’s office is searching for the culprit. The person could face a misdemeanor charge of injury by graffiti, which is punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of $1,000

Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott’s top business advisor on Friday claimed climate change was a ruse encouraged by the United Nations to create a new authoritarian world order under its control. Maurice Newman, chairman of the Prime Minister’s Business Advisory Council, said the real agenda was “concentrated political authority. Global warming is the hook”. In a column for The Australian newspaper to coincide with a visit by UN climate chief Christiana Figueres, he added that the world had been “subjected to extravagance from climate catastrophists for close to 50 years”. “It’s a well-kept secret, but 95 percent of the climate...

Trapped in Mexico for weeks, a San Jose family said the government won’t let them bring their new baby home. Haseeb and Christy Amireh have been stuck living in hotel after hotel in the state of Tabasco in Mexico with their newborn son Grayson. “We just want to get home,” Christy told KPIX 5 via Skype. But Grayson has no birth certificate, so he can’t get a passport to fly home. “There are still agencies taking intended parents, like us, so we would like to get the word out,” Haseeb said. Unable to have children, the San Jose couple turned...

In the mid-1990s, Marc Goodman, then an investigator in the Los Angeles Police Department, tried to convince his boss of the need for a computer crime unit. The reaction? Utter bafflement. “This captain said to me, ‘Computer crime, what is that? Like if you take the monitor and hit somebody in the head and kill them?’” It is a telling anecdote. While law enforcement agencies have become inÂcreasingly sophisticated technologically, criminals have the edge, according to Mr Goodman. That was something he observed when investigating drugs and vice in LA. “In those days the only people that had pagers in...

Mark Levin opened his show today blasting Mitch McConnell for siding with Obama and the Islamo-Nazis in Iran with this so-called Iran Nuclear Review Act and lying about it. He calls McConnell a ‘deserter,’ a ‘disgrace’ and ‘Benedict Arnold,’ and says McConnell put the Republican Party and bipartisanship above the national security of this country. Listen:

It looks like an ordinary apartment – walk in and you’ll find a living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. “That’s the idea,” said Dr. Kathryn Daniel, an Associate Professor of Nursing at UT-Arlington. “You’re able to do that unobtrusively – behind the scenes.” FBI Was Aware Shooter Was Interested in Garland Event But make no mistake, a special unit at the Lakewood Village Senior Living Community in Fort Worth is one of the most technologically advanced homes you’ll find anywhere. “It’s a living laboratory,” said Daniel. With the help of more than $600,000 in federal funding, a team of researchers...

Pray For Our American Heroes and Our Nation Victory in Europe - May 08, 1945 Come and see what the LORD has done, the desolations He has brought on the earth. He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth. He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields with fire. He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” Psalm 46 8-10 (NIV) ----

(VIDEO-AT-LINK) DURHAM, N.H. —In five of the last six presidential general elections, including the last three, the Democratic nominee has won New Hampshire’s four electoral votes. That’s not a sure thing for 2016, according to the results of a new WMUR Granite State Poll. Hillary Clinton trails or is in virtual ties with Republicans Jeb Bush, Rand Paul, Scott Walker, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, the poll of 706 randomly selected adults shows. That’s a sharp change from just three months ago, when the former secretary of state held comfortable leads over all five of those announced or likely candidates....

Mark Levin believes blackmail or something may be going behind the scenes in the Senate. Here’s why: NATIONAL REVIEW – The rumors began trickling in about a week before the scheduled vote on April 23: Republican leadership was quietly pushing senators to pull support for subpoenaing Congress’s fraudulent application to the District of Columbia’s health exchange — the document that facilitated Congress’s “exemption” from Obamacare by allowing lawmakers and staffers to keep their employer subsidies. The application said Congress employed just 45 people. Names were faked; one employee was listed as “First Last,” another simply as “Congress.” To Small Business...
