Authorities are looking for a teen who wanted a date with Destiny and hoped to get it by spray-painting a prom proposal on an Idaho cliffside.
The Idaho Statesman reports that the message Destiny, Prom? was painted in large pink and blue letters on the side of the Black Cliffs, in a popular rock climbing spot, east of Boise. The Ada County sheriffs office is searching for the culprit.
The person could face a misdemeanor charge of injury by graffiti, which is punishable by up to six months in jail and a fine of $1,000

Hmmm. Is Destiny a local person or a famous person that I’m too old to know about?

A lot to do over nothing. Must of had some climbing skills.
If it stays for a 100 years it well become part of the local folk lore.

He sought his Destiny, but looks like he found Trouble instead.

The town of Arco, ID is famous for their Number Hill behind town. Every graduating class for over 100 years has climbed up and painted the year on the rocks in huge numbers. At first you look at the novelty of it. After a while, it just looks trashy.
