  • Food prices may be catalyst for 2013 revolutions

What is the trigger for a revolution? Sometimes it a brutal act of repression. Sometimes it a lost war, or a natural catastrophe, that exposes the failings of a regime. But more often than not, it is soaring food prices. The easiest prediction to make for 2013 is that everything we eat will once again rise sharply in price. So where will the revolutions start this year? Keep an eye on Algeria and Greece — and if you want to feel very nervous, Russia and China. And if you are smart, keep your money out of those countries as well....

Follow Tracy @FraudBlogger A California rap artist has been arrested for his alleged connection to an international carding fraud and point-of-sale hacking scheme that involved thousands of debit and credit accounts. The scheme, reported in June, is believed to involve two hackers who intercepted and sold nearly 200,000 debit and credit numbers they stole from restaurants in Seattle (see Feds Charge Hacker in POS Attacks). As Egyptian President Mohammed Morsi said that virulent anti-Semitic comments which he reportedly said prior to his election were taken out of context, the Middle East Media Research Institute (MEMRI) released another video which depicts him making similar comments. The latest video is an address delivered by Morsi, which was posted on the Internet on January 10, 2010. It was translated by MEMRI and published on Wednesday. In the newly exposed remarks, Morsi calls U.S. President Barack Obama “insincere” and calls for Arabs to raise their children on hatred of Jews.

Murder in the United States1 is illegal, and has been for over two hundred years. Strong penalties, up to and including the penalty of death, are incurred by those who commit this heinous crime. Yet, strangely, despite murder’s high illegality, there were in 2011 over 12,000 of them committed! The largest number of murders were in 1991, with nearly 25,000 of these frowned-upon unlawful incidents. It is difficult to imagine a penalty more severe than death, so it remains a curiosity that so many murderers are found when such strong laws are in place. Perhaps this scourge can be eliminated...

    EurActiv ^ | 16 January 2013
A caucus of euroskeptic Conservative MPs has issued a manifesto today (16 January), two days before Prime Minister David Cameron is set to make a landmark speech on Europe, stating that “the status quo is no longer an option” and demanding “a new and different relationship” with the European Union. The Fresh Start group of Conservative backbenchers—numbering nearly 100 of the party’s 304 deputies—sets out proposals to repatriate legislative powers to the UK and cut Britain’s bill for EU membership by billions of pounds a year. … The MPs also raised the possibility of the UK withholding funds for EU...

3D printed magazines have been successfully used by Kel-Tec for three years, I discovered at the NSSF Shot Show in Las Vegas yesterday. I talked to Tobias Obermeit, Lead Design Engineer at Kel-Tec, one of the most innovative firearms manufacturers in the United States. Mr. Obermeit said that "Without 3D printing, the PMR-30 would not have been developed, especially the magazine." Mr. Obermeit informed me that a prototype magazine would be printed and then be used for 100 to 150 rounds, when they would develop cracks. The magazine would then be discarded and another magazine printed. Tobias Obermeit holding a...

Given President Obama's list of 23 Exective Orders, the one that seems to have the quickest and most direct effect on the public is #16, which will likely result in a defacto regulation that doctors will ask about guns at home...and they won't just ask you, they will ask your children (as happened to me a number of years ago), every time. The reason that it is a defacto requirement is that no doctor wants to be the one that didn't ask, the next time a Newtown-type shooter goes nuts. So how to respond? I'll give a few possible answers,...

As many of you know, the first Gun Appreciation Day has been set for January 19th. The organizers want you to go out to your local gun range, gun store, gun show and show support for gun rights around the country. I think that this should be taken a step further and we should make it a march on each state capitol in the US. To that end, to all people in the state of Colorado, I hereby invite you to join me at the gun rights march at the Denver Capitol Building on January 19th at 11AM. I have...
  • WikiLeaks: Bradley Manning’s motives are no defense, judge rules

A US military judge ruled Wednesday that Bradley Manning’s motive for allegedly leaking a huge cache of secret files to WikiLeaks is no defense against the long list of charges he faces. Manning, an army private who was arrested in May 2010 while serving as an intelligence analyst in Iraq, faces trial in June for passing diplomatic cables and war logs to the anti-secrecy website run by Julian Assange. Manning’s lawyers had argued that evidence should be heard at trial about why the soldier chose to illicitly transmit the confidential documents to WikiLeaks, but the request was largely thrown out....

Sen. Rand Paul on Wednesday night announced plans to try to undo parts of President Barack Obama’s executive proposals to curb gun violence, saying the president may be developing a “king-like complex.” “We will nullify anything the president does that smacks of legislation,” the Kentucky Republican said on Fox News in reference to 23 actions Obama unveiled earlier in the day. The executive actions range from steps to encourage states to improve information sharing on background checks to directing the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to conduct new studies related to gun violence. “I’m very concerned about this president,”...

I propose to show you all how JFK, Dallas, the Lindberg Baby, Dana Plato, Route 77, UFO's, the doomed flights 800 and Swiss Air 111, "Clandestine Luciferian Masons" or (CLuMs for short), the Atlantic Ocean, Larry King, neckties, Francis Bacon, Marshall Ney, and lemon-flavored taffy all add up to the biggest and most compelling conspiracy ever recorded in human history. Let us begin at the beginning: HOW DOES JOHN FITZGERALD KENNEDY, SENIOR FIT? JFK's murder was a Luciferian Masonic human sacrifice. Dallas was picked as the site of sacrifice because it is located close to the 33rd degree of north...
  • Southwestern Pennsylvania hospital to stop baby deliveries (obamacare)

Pregnant women in one southwestern Pennsylvania town will soon need to look elsewhere to deliver their babies, after a local hospital announced it will end the practice in March -- blaming ObamaCare in part for the decision. The Windber Medical Center will stop delivering babies after March 31 because its obstetricians are either leaving or refocusing their practices, and because hospital officials believe they can't afford it based on projected reimbursements under looming federal health care reforms. In a lengthy statement posted to its website Wednesday, the hospital cited several reasons for the decision -- including a claim that the...

50 Shocking Questions That You Should Ask To Anyone That Is Not A Prepper Yet By Michael Snyder January 16th, 2013 Share this list of shocking questions with everyone you know that needs to wake up. Sometimes asking good questions is the best way to get someone that you care about to understand something. When I attended law school, I became very familiar with something called "the Socratic method". It is a method that has been traditionally used in law schools all over the United States. Law professors will bombard their students with questions, and the goal is to stimulate...

Note in podcast at 15:45 (today, 1-16-13), he's admonishing a caller not to get confrontive because "people can have guns on them" and then he says "There's loonies out there... shooting up schools... and THE NRA IS TELLING THEM IT'S A GOOD IDEA" [emphasis mine).
