FLINT, Michigan -- Kettering University student Brian Nichols had seen the campus e-mail alerts before -- a mugging, a break-in, warnings to be extra vigilant at night. But the 2 a.m. phone call from a fellow student whose rental house had been broken into by an armed robber just a couple of blocks away had the most chilling effect. "This term, it has hit closer to home. I'm to the point now where I feel like I have to get in my car and drive across the street instead of walking 100 feet," said Nichols, 21, of studying at Kettering's...

Obama apologist "Steve" was just on Cavuto telling ever greater whoppers. According to Steve, 1,500 people die each month because we don't yet have ObamaCare and thus no health insurance. Cavuto tried to get him to admit that no one is ever turned away from an ER but Steve stayed right on talking points: The right is killing the poor because we are dangerous, selfish, and anti-American . Steve then launched into a pre-packaged rant -- eyes wide and unblinking, words coming at 200 a minute -- about how Obama is not getting the credit for the one million jobs...

The rise of the Left and godless Liberalism in America has been slowly but ever rising since the 1920’s until today, where it is at a fever pitch. The Left has always sought to make war with America’s Judean/ Christian values (moral and spiritual) by imposing their secular and godless immorality on the American culture. They are Constitutional apostates and, like a parasite, they have twisted the U.S. Constitution in support of their Machiavellian agenda. They have been relentless in their pursuit to totally secularize our American Culture and heritage. Iconic leftist leaders such as Margaret Sanger, Roger Baldwin, John...

Unlike Obama, these two Presidents didn't instruct students to read their books or make posters with quotes from their speeches!Plus: Left Wing political indoctrination is pervasive in the public schools!Trying to deflect attention from Obama's planned speech to the nation's school children next Tuesday, the Dems resort to their first excuse whenever they are cornered: "Republicans do it too." As usual, that phony moral equivalence falls flat when the facts are examined. It's true that both President's Reagan and the first President Bush gave speeches to the nation's schoolchildren. But there is no evidence to suggest that either man used...

Here is shocking video of Obama "Green Jobs Czar" Van Jones saying "you've never seen a Columbine done by a black child." He said it's "suburban white kids" who do it, although you might see a "black kid shoot another black kid." . . . . (Watch Video)

Parents who install a leading brand of software to monitor their kids' online activities may be unwittingly allowing the developer to gather marketing data from children as young as 7 -- and to sell that information. Software sold under the Sentry and FamilySafe brands can read private chats conducted through Yahoo, MSN, AOL and other services, and send that data back to the company. The information is then offered to businesses seeking ways to tailor their marketing messages to kids. "This scares me more than anything I have seen using monitoring technology," said Parry Aftab, a child-safety advocate. "You don't...

Despite protests, the city of Homestead said they won't ban the controversial symbol --- Over a century later, the Confederacy seems to have won. It's a small battle, of course, but it looks like Homestead's Veteran's Day Parade will happen, and, despite protests by the NAACP, organizers decided they could not ban the displaying of the Confederate flag, according to the Miami Herald. The controversy over the flag began last November, when black residents became outraged that the city allowed the symbol to fly during Veterans Day events. "I think the Confederate soldiers have always been in the parade. I've...

WASHINGTON -- Breaking new ground in race relations, President Barack Obama today gave controversial Green Jobs czar Van Jones another role at the White House: the nation’s first Racism czar. “I unveiled only the tip of the iceberg when I said the Cambridge police acted stupidly and subsequently complained about the history of racial profiling in this country,” Obama said during a press conference in the Blue Room at the White House, Jones standing nearby wearing a Kanye Was Right t-shirt. “With Van Jones as the point man on race relations in the White House, we’ll have white people burning...

CHANDLER, AZ -- Police say two teens face burglary charges after they allegedly forced their way into a home with a 14-year-old boy inside Wednesday morning. According to a Chandler police report, the teen was alone in the home near Frye and Alma school roads when two men knocked on the front door about 7:30 a.m. Since he didn't know the men, the boy did not answer the door, according to the report. Police said the men then forced their way into the home through a back door and the boy ran out of the house to a neighbor who...

Although the recession isn't officially over yet, there is a growing sense that the economy is now in a recovery. But there is also a growing debate about who deserves the credit. Many in Washington have gone to extraordinary lengths to try and turn around the economy over the past year or so. Last year, Congress signed a blank check to Treasury to cover losses at mortgage finance giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and created the $700 billion Troubled Asset Relief Program for banks. Earlier this year, lawmakers passed a $787 billion stimulus package. Meanwhile the Federal Reserve slashed...

Last year, many at NRO and other conservative news organizations, including myself, wrote quite a bit about William Ayers, and Jeremiah Wright, and Michael Pfleger, and Tony Rezko, etc. And more than a few Obama supporters, and more than a few mainstream media voices, thought that the criticism was wildly overhyped and Obama's ties to those types were irrelevant, because as president, Barack Obama would never put anyone in his administration with such controversial, paranoid, extreme, and anti-American views. In light of Van Jones, all of those folks who said we made too much out of Ayers and Wright and...

Washington, D.C. (AHN) - The 80-member Congressional Progressive Caucus late Thursday reminded President Barack Obama that it would only support a healthcare reform measure that has a "robust public option plan." Obama issues an address before a joint session of Congress next week when lawmakers return from recess. Now without the vote of Ted Kennedy at the final phase of the healthcare debate, the White House is said to be in negotiations with Sen. Olympia Snowe (R-ME) about a government-run health insurance program that would only serve as as a backup to privately offered insurance. In a letter, progressives reiterated...

Hi, kids. My name is Barack Obama and I'm the President of the United States. I'm sure you all know what that means. It means you have to do whatever I tell you because if you don't, I can take away your mommy and daddy and you'll never see them again. So listen real carefully, OK? I know a lot of you haven't been paying much attention to the argument we grown-ups are having about health-care reform. That's all right. It's really complicated stuff. Most of your parents have no idea what it's all about either. All you really need...

The White House would not say whether the White House's green-jobs czar, who has been linked to Sept. 11 conspiracy theorists, continues to enjoy the confidence of the president, but an official said he is still a part of the administration. Van Jones, the president's special adviser for green jobs at the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ), has come under fire this week for using an obscenity to describe Republicans and for signing a petition to get Congress to investigate whether the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, were an inside government job. White House press secretary Robert...

The man who filled Nobel laureate Desmond Tutu’s shoes as South Africa’s Anglican archbishop is being sued for maintenance by his wife of 22 years. Two years ago, Archbishop Njongonkulu Ndungane announced to his family that he would be resigning from the church and would be going on a 10-day retreat in Polokwane, Limpopo, to “meditate”. But the clergyman never returned. Now his estranged wife, Nomahlubi Vokwana-Ndungane, who had kept her husband’s disappearance “in the family”, has turned to the courts in a desperate bid to force him to support her financially. The shocking allegations surfaced this week when the...

Some of the 4,000 downtown residents who live near a potential security perimeter during the G-20 summit have begun to think about how they will move around then. KDKA-TV News has learned that some residential management firms have told their residents that apartment communities near the David L. Lawrence Convention Center will have to provide a list of residents to the city which would be put in a database. That would allow residents to show a photo ID at a checkpoint. A driver's license or a city issued credential would be used if a driver's license isn't up to date.
