First of all let me be clear that I have NO affiliation or association with any of the websites or related tea party movements that have popped up as a result of my comments on February 19th, or to the best of my knowledge any of the people who organized the websites or movements. By the way of background, I am not and never have been a stockbroker. Not that there is anything wrong with being a stockbroker. The home I have lived in for 20 years is a 2,500-square foot ranch. Not that there is anything wrong with owning...

Liberals are continuing their assault on investors, traders and the stock market. Peter DeFazio introduced the Let Wall Street Pay for Wall Street’s Bailout Act of 2009 bill in another utterly audacious attempt to stifle private enterprise. What is especially sad, the purpose of this bill as officially stated is to pay for TARP! TARP was shoved down our throats by the liberals, largely rejected by the GOP and force fed to the American public. This bill was introduced several weeks ago, but I am just learning about it now and someone that participates in the market find this to...

What does the worst recession in a generation look like? It is both deep and broad. Every state in the country, with the exception of a band stretching from the Dakotas down to Texas, is now shedding jobs at a rapid pace. And even that band has recently begun to suffer, because of the sharp fall in both oil and crop prices.

The Obama White House is continuing its attack on anybody in the media who disagrees with, well the Obama White House. It began with their effort to prove that the entire Republican party was lead by Rush Limbaugh, not the real Rush Limbaugh, but the stereotype of Rush that have created. Now they have a new villain, CNBC financial Guru, Mad Money Host Jim Cramer. Cramer had the audacity of telling the truth about the President's economic performance so far. He said that Obama was pushing an agenda in this country now that I would regard as being a radical...

Pakistan stunned by Lahore attack (link) By Simon Cameron-Moore ISLAMABAD (Reuters) - Pakistani police hunted on Wednesday for gunmen who mounted the bold attack on Sri Lanka's cricket team in Lahore and officials scrambled to figure out who was behind it. The attack that killed eight people, six of them Pakistani police, plunged Pakistan into a "state of war," Rehman Malik, the prime minister's interior adviser, said. ***************** Six members of the Sri Lankan team and a British coach were wounded in the daylight attack as their bus approached the cricket stadium. None was so seriously hurt they had to...

OK, I keep hearing people talk about how things are Unconstitutional. Most notably, many of the items in the recent Stimulus Package. Is anyone going to try to get all of these so called Uncostitutional things overturned by the SCOTUS before a whole bunch of liberal judges are appointed? Where are the conservative Non profit groups?

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama enjoys widespread backing from a frightened American public for his ambitious, front-loaded agenda, a new poll indicates. He is more popular than ever, Americans are hopeful about his leadership, and opposition Republicans are getting drubbed in public opinion, the new Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll suggests.

So...how many of you out there STILL have a lot of friends, family or coworkers that are still drinking the "Kool aid"?? One would think--that after the way that the "Bamster's" "help" has been received by the stock mkt, and such--that thinking people would NOT still be "going for it", where his lies are concerned. But where I work--my boss and her WHOLE family are STILL enamored by "the one". And no matter WHAT happens--it is ALL "Bush's fault and of course..the republicans..I hear it EVERY day. And nothing I can say makes any difference to her. She even refuses...

The man slid down to the tarmac and started moving toward Terminal C. The unidentified man was quickly apprehended by airline employees. Rush Pushes, Steele Bends Posted by Anthony Sacramone on March 3, 2009 Rush Limbaugh 1, RNC Chairman Michael Steele 0. Just who is running the Republican Party? “There was no attempt on my part to diminish [Limbaugh's] voice or his leadership,” Steele said. He added, “There are those out there who want to look at what he’s saying as incendiary and divisive and ugly. That’s what I was trying to say. It didn’t come out that way.” 1. His leadership? He’s a talk-radio host. No matter how successful his schtick, Limbaugh wasn’t elected to anything. 2. No, you said he...

Just two days after a copy of his new book, "Annals of Gullibility," arrived at his south Jefferson County home in December, Stephen Greenspan received shocking news. The 67-year-old University of Colorado psychiatry professor had fallen for the biggest Ponzi scheme of all time. A third of his retirement savings had been invested with Bernard Madoff. Even in his disbelief, Greenspan recognized the irony. The subtitle of his book practically screamed it: "Why We Get Duped and How to Avoid It." "I had been scammed," Greenspan said. "In a way it was funny, though I didn't think so at the...

March 03, 2009; Posted: 02:45 PM (RTTNews) - Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner cautioned Tuesday that the $700 billion allotted for his department's financial rescue program may not be enough, and that it is likely that the stabilization of the financial system will cost more. Who are these people? Seriously! Remember: A tax cheat was confirmed, the tax cheat hired a lobbyist and violated the ethics rule, another lobbyist was hired that violated the ethics rule, a tax cheat withdrew her nomination, another tax cheat withdrew his nomination. Then a nominee violated House ethics rules and is married to a tax cheat. Then another tax cheat was nominated! From Breitbart: President Barack Obama's Treasury secretary says the administration will unveil a series of rules and measures in the coming months to limit the ability of international companies to avoid U.S. taxes. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner...

Hillary Clinton threw herself into the turmoil of the Middle East crisis yesterday by backing the creation of a Palestinian state despite opposition from the incoming Israeli Government. The US Secretary of State also dispatched high-level envoys to Syria to discern the opportunities for regional talks. Mrs Clinton urged continued dialogue with the Palestinian Authority to create an independent Palestinian state in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. “We happen to believe that moving towards a two-state solution is in Israel’s best interests,” she said. The new Administration of President Obama would be vigorously engaged in pursuing that goal, she...

Most of President Obama's dramatic budget changes are likely to pass Congress, but expect even many Democrats to question his plan to create a "cap-and-trade" program for carbon dioxide. The plan would bring in some $646 billion over the next ten years according to the Obama budget office. The vast majority of the revenue supposedly would be used to create tax cuts for low-income families. Democrats from Rust Belt states are already skeptical. Their region would be hit hard by the new rules, especially those with large coal industries. A total of 15 Senate Democrats have signed a letter urging...
