Mysterious Group Buys Building Next to Ground Zero For Mosque Wednesday, December 16, 2009 Jim Hoft
A mysterous Muslim group with unknown sponsors has purchased a building steps away from Ground Zero. Hudson New York reported:
An identified group with unknown sponsors has purchased building steps away from where the WorldTrade Center once stood — to turn it into potentially one of the largest New York City mosques.
At the moment the building, the old Burlington Coat Factory, already serves as a mini-mosque: an iron grill lifts every Friday afternoon for a little known Imam leading prayers a few yards away from where Osama Bin Laden’s airborne Islamist bombers killed nearly 3000 people back in 2001.
The Imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf, told the New York Times — which put the story on its front page Wednesday — that he has assembled several million dollars to turn it into ‘’an Islamic center near the city’s most hallowed piece of land that would stand as one of ground zero’s more unexpected and striking neighbors.’’
The 61-year-old Imam said he paid $4.85 million for it — in cash, records show. With 50,000 square feet of air rights and enough financing, he plans an ambitious project of $150 million, he said, akin to the Chautauqua Institution, the 92 Street Y or the Jewish Community Center.

Good. I was just there a week ago Monday. I wish I'd known about this then. I don't know what I would have done, but I'm sure something would have occurred to me.
I was there in March of '02 as well. I have rarely been as angry as I was when I saw that gaping wound back then...
Someone should get one of those hot dog carts and paint a picture of Porky the Pig on it. Then start selling ham sandwiches, BLT’s, and finger licking good spareribs in front of the place on Friday afternoons.

The Mayor and the City Council should vote for a special assessment and special zoning use of the building...because NY’ers and Americans in general won’t go for this AT ALL.
Tie their hands and make them pay ($$$$) - big time. If they can’t pay, the City confiscates the building.

The glass we can do, but I don't think we have enough C-5s, C-17s and C-130s to haul that much pig "stuff". I guess we could press some tankers into service to spray the stuff out of their booms. That would allow for a uniform coating, if a thin one.
The stuff would be pretty liquid when it would be obtained from hog confinement facilities. They hose them down, thus adding water, then then the "byproduct" runs off into catch ponds, and is then often hauled away by a "honey wagon", which is a just a big tank on wheels with a pump that can both such and blow. (Been there done that, but only once)
That I would like to see, a couple of wings of KC-10s, and KC-135s in formation, with booms converted for "spray", making as many passes as it would take.

I think that the completion of the mosque would be an ideal time...
For a ‘Predator’ drone loaded with live ordnance to malfunction and make a beeline into the structure.

Don't know about Patterson, but Bloomberg is too busy trying to prevent law abiding residents of several states from acquiring firearms under the laws of the US and those states.
Here’s my idle speculation which, hopefully, hasn’t already been vouchsafed before — Citibank with the monies they saved in taxes to the U.S. government. Muck fislam. Time to consecrate that ground with pigs’ blood and a few discarded ‘holey’ Quarrel-Ons in memory of the first pedophile, may he roast in hell.
The Muzzies are out hanging Korans on people’s doorknobs in Michigan. They are doing major proseletysing and our churches are doing NOTHING.
A few years ago, I was in Houston for a conference (and, oddly enough, to attend an Islamic terrorism trial)...and I saw that the Muslims had just bought the majestic old 19th century downtown courthouse and renamed it the “Islamic Dawa [Conversion] Center,” and had a big banner hanging between the columns proclaiming this.
Folks, numerically they’re not very important here. But they’re enormously well funded and what they are trying to do with these Islamic centers is project an image of being much more numerous and important than they are.
Heck, they have bought a ton of little tiny backwoods churches here in Florida and have stuck up signs saying “Islamic center” outside of them, even though you rarely ever see anybody there.
Seems shockingly true. Not logical.

My brother worked in the North tower and I used to meet him for lunch or pick him up on the way through going north...he passed away in 1989...we were there a lot...it was a great place, busy and humming...God held those towers up long enough to let there be 3,000 dead instead of thirty thousand...I am wearing a pair of shoes I bought from the J&M store...some VERY fond memories of lunch hour in the plaza on a warm day...
No one will build a MOSQUE overlooking that site...NO ONE.
Sounds like a good spot for Ground One.
They are there, the ground has already been defiled far beyond what the carcasses of (not so very) dumb animals could possibly do.
