Good. I was just there a week ago Monday. I wish I'd known about this then. I don't know what I would have done, but I'm sure something would have occurred to me.
I was there in March of '02 as well. I have rarely been as angry as I was when I saw that gaping wound back then...
My brother worked in the North tower and I used to meet him for lunch or pick him up on the way through going north...he passed away in 1989...we were there a lot...it was a great place, busy and humming...God held those towers up long enough to let there be 3,000 dead instead of thirty thousand...I am wearing a pair of shoes I bought from the J&M store...some VERY fond memories of lunch hour in the plaza on a warm day...
No one will build a MOSQUE overlooking that site...NO ONE.
