A mysterous Muslim group with unknown sponsors has purchased a building steps away from Ground Zero. Hudson New York reported:
An identified group with unknown sponsors has purchased building steps away from where the WorldTrade Center once stood — to turn it into potentially one of the largest New York City mosques.
At the moment the building, the old Burlington Coat Factory, already serves as a mini-mosque: an iron grill lifts every Friday afternoon for a little known Imam leading prayers a few yards away from where Osama Bin Laden’s airborne Islamist bombers killed nearly 3000 people back in 2001.
The Imam, Feisal Abdul Rauf, told the New York Times — which put the story on its front page Wednesday — that he has assembled several million dollars to turn it into ‘’an Islamic center near the city’s most hallowed piece of land that would stand as one of ground zero’s more unexpected and striking neighbors.’’
The 61-year-old Imam said he paid $4.85 million for it — in cash, records show. With 50,000 square feet of air rights and enough financing, he plans an ambitious project of $150 million, he said, akin to the Chautauqua Institution, the 92 Street Y or the Jewish Community Center.

This is hellish. Who did own that property, I wonder - or did they buy it under false pretenses, that is, not saying they were going to build a mosque there?
This is just horrible. Where Islam left nearly 3,000 people burned to death, crushed to death, dead from jumping out of windows, or dead after days or even weeks buried underground, we’re letting this vicious insane cult erect a shrine to itself?
I bet Obama will be at the dedication.

If the Islamofascists and their Leftist enablers and cheerleaders want to see what a 'true' war against ALL of Islam looks like, they need to just keep on going with this kind of crap. We haven't seen Imams hauled out into the town squares and beaten to death in America yet the way Christians are commonly treated in other 'countries', and if that's the way they want it then I say go right ahead and bring it.

This not only saddens me, it enrages me! To paraphrase......”We love our children more than we hate the Jihadists”........which rules out using the violence they practice.
What are our options? Can a building permit be denied on some basis? Perhaps the union contractors will see the wisdom of using sub-grade cement and materials. Hey, I can hope.

My first thought as well....Although I'd include the entire Middle East, Pakistan, Indonesia, and the 60-70 Moslem terrorist training compounds located throughout the U.S.
(Hmmm...Maybe 80% of the Mosques need to be included?)

Back when we first got into Afghanistan after 9/11, and our troops found Mullah Omar’s house, I suggested it be brought back piece by piece and reconstructed on Ground Zero as a bar-b-cue restaurant called “Omar’s.”
No one listened to me then, and now look at what’s happened.

I am extremely appalled, totally dismayed and absolutely disgusted…
