Blogger admits Hawaii birth certificate forgery, subverting Obama claims (Uh-oh)

Jay McKinnon, a self-described Department of Homeland Security-trained document specialist, has implicated himself in the production of fraudulent Hawaii birth certificate images similar to the one endorsed as genuine by the Barack Obama campaign, and appearing on the same blog entry where the supposedly authentic document appears.

The evidence of forgery and manipulation of images of official documents, triggered by Israel Insider's revelation of the collection of Hawaii birth certificate images on the Photobucket site and the detective work of independent investigative journalists and imaging professionals in the three weeks since the publication of the images, implicate the Daily Kos, an extreme left blog site, and the Obama campaign, in misleading the public with official-looking but manipulated document images of doubtful provenance.

The perceived unreliability of the image has provoked petitions and widespread demands for Obama to submit for objective inspection the paper versions of the "birth certificate" he claimed in his book Dreams from My Father was in his possession, as well as the paper version of the Certificate of Live Birth for which the image on the Daily Kos and the Obama "Fight the Smears" website was supposedly generated.

Without a valid birth certificate, Obama cannot prove he fulfills the "natural born citizen" requirement of the Constitution, throwing into doubt his eligibility to run for President.

McKinnon, who says he is 25-30 years old, operates a website called OpenDNA.com and uses the OpenDNA screen name on various web sites and blogs, including his comments and diary on The Daily Kos. In recent years he has divided his time between Long Beach, California and Vancouver, British Columbia. He is a Democratic political activist, frequent contributor to the left wing Daily Kos blog, and a fervent Barack Obama supporter.

Obama was born in Hawaii, and I stand by this statement: The BC on Obama’s website might well be legitimate, in fact the preponderance of evidence points in that direction.

Sorry, sir, you are wrong on that. You can resolve repeated patterns to a higher accuracy and make use statistics to make inferences on an ensemble that can be quite surprising. BTW, I would not trust AJStrata to take out my garbage. I’ve had the misfortune of having to work with a few people who came off as he does. One was one of the world’s leading expert in his field, but he was intolerable to work with, so the company kept him almost cloistered. Another was a total f*up — but who could talk a great game but NEVER delivered. A couple of others come to mind. Ruinations every one. If they weren’t themselves incompetent they would by their bad attitude demoralize everyone around them and thus create a circle of incompetence around them, with of course, the big head himself, at the center, majestic.

So.....what exactly am I supposed to clear up? About the pic of Ann Dunham and Barak Sr. and the one with Barak Sr. and the kid. It's an airline terminal, it's a ticketing counter (not arrivals and Customs) and it may well be HNL at a later date but certainly not John Rodgers Terminal in 1962...

Here are the simple questions that you could answer to clear things up.

1. Regardless of what you call the terminals, are these three pictures taken in the same terminal, yes or no?

2. Is the black and white photo labeled the "Old Terminal, 1960" as depicited on the Hawaii.gov/hawaiiaviation site, in fact the old South Ramp Terminal that was demolished in 1965, yes or no?

3. Which terminal is this?

I belive that the first three pictures are taken in the same terminal. I can be convinced that they are not in the terminal that was demolished in 1965, and that the caption is mis-labeled.

You are arguing ‘ad hominem’. It’s really irrevelent to the issue of what facts are valid. The ‘its a forgery’ crowd have made multiple statements that were later proved wrong, so if anyone should get a 15 yard penalty for incompetence or speaking beyond their capacity, its them.

I am not arguing ad feminem. You TOLD me to "trust" AJ. That was my response to you. The forgery crowd? A *crowd*? Hey, that's ad groupinem! One member of some horde farts and the fallacy of an ad groupinem argument says therefore they all and each stink.

And what possibly could those "innocent" reasons be? We know by observation, IF that was a true BC his numbers would have been, 151 1961. The last numbers would more than likely be the sequence number of the certificate. There was NO reason to block it out unless they didn't want to get caught using a number that would not have been his.

Your twisting my words. Trust but verify and follow the facts I’ve said all along. I don’t know nor care who the ‘experts’ are, I care what real facts and logic are brought to bear. Despite your claims, AJ Strata has not misled anyone.
You are trusting people who made incorrect statements earlier on and making assertions that violate Shannon Information theory to justify an unjustifiable distrust of someone whose points have not been substantively refuted.

It’s not ‘ad groupinem’ (whatever the h*ll that is) to point out that:
1. The original “its a forgery” claim was that OpenDNA was the *source* of the KOS and Obama site images.
2. Certain people advanced that theory to “prove” Obama had a forged BC.
3. That theory was debunked.
4. Now the same people advancing theory #2 are moving on to another theory.

This is tiresome nonsense, which is probably why AJ Strata has gotten brusque and rude in your estimation. His rudeness doesnt make him wrong and it doesnt make you right. Meanwhile, I suggest you *do* plough through AJ strata’s arguments before pronouncing him wrong. if you cant even understand his point, why are you claiming to know he’s not right?

You have made assertions that “Obama’s BC is a forgery because” ... and given reasons that are weak, wrong and circular logic. it’s like whack-a-mole, though, the same bad logic is recycled and repeated ad nauseum.

I like that you stick to it. Whatever it is, maybe a question, but persistence like yours is good. At some point perhaps we can wean you off of rust-prone phrasings and toxic thought patterns like "tiresome nonsense", or "Trust Him!".

There is a "talking past each other" dynamic in that AJ dust-up. Your three first points are a fair enough summary of AJ's position, as I also understand he has it -- if only that were as far as he took it.

However for the interests of time, a shortcut I take here in response.

DaleInAtlanta, the poster on AJ's site -- the liberal Obama supporting Dale, has busted AJ's argument on that line.

All other significant busting up of AJ's conflation, to my view, has best been done by techdude.

The BC that has been presented by Obama's own website is almost certainly a forgery, and it is a fraudulent presentation.

I'm sure you realize, then, that they innocently invalidated the document by doing that. If they want to convince me, then they must use a legal document to do so. Even if the document is not a forgery, it is invalidated as a legal document.

This is simply not true. I was born in Hawaii have a Hawaii “Certification of Live Birth” right before my very eyes and my copy says clear as day “DATE FILED BY REGISTRAR”.

I really don't care if you think that "smells." I have since acknowledged that there must be more than one version of BC abstracts, but I 100% solidly maintain that the DeCosta BC does not look like mine (which looks just like Obama's). That is a fact.

Thanks for the courtesy ping, but it became clear to me about a week ago that some here don't give a flying fig about hearing things that don't fit their conspiracy. Instead of banging my head against the wall trying to stop the madness, I have decided to take a more passive role and simply watch this debacle in amazement, sometimes with audible gasps/outbursts of laughter and how doggone WRONG some of you are and you don't even have a clue you are off base at all. Oh well, at least this disease is isolated to just a few off on the backroom. Thank God this isn't on FR's front page anymore. :^)
