You are the fourth person in the last two weeks that I know of who had their Mac die recently. One is now whining about having to relearn a whole new OS, but has admitted that the new PC seems to do some things faster....

It was an old Mac and had been abused by my husband, ( He Who Sets The Kitchen Aflame) and my daughter, (Impatient One of the Curled Fist)

So I don't really hold it against the Mac.
