Former Palestinian Authority Chairman Yasser Arafat’s widow, Suha Arafat, believes her late husband is the only who could have brought peace. "Many say that my husband was an obstacle to peace. We saw, after his death, what happened to peace," she said on Wednesday, speaking to the Italian daily La Repubblica on the 10th anniversary of her husband’s death. "History will tell whether Arafat was right to declare the Intifada,” Arafat, who lives in Malta with her daughter, told the newspaper upon being asked about the “armed resistance” advocated by her husband. “But now we have millions of refugees. I am glad Bush won re-election but I have to admit missing Teressa, she was a real hoot. I wonder if the French doctors who treated Yassir Arafat ended up issuing a report which says they had no idea what killed him or if the report tells us the obvious, he died of AIDS. Dan Rather will continue to make millions of dollar when he should actually be facing serious jail time but sadly the same can be said of Bill Clinton. Does Bill Clinton look rather sick two moths after his heart bypass? He reminds me of the way...

CHICAGO (AP) - The Rev. Jesse Jackson (news - web sites) on Friday urged President Bush (news - web sites) to protect Yasser Arafat (news - web sites), saying he feared the Middle East will erupt in war if Israelis kill the Palestinian leader.
