When Muslim terrorists began their latest massacre in Kashmir, they first checked IDs and asked their victims to recite the ‘Kalmas’ one of several Islamic recitations used by Indian Muslims, beginning with, “There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his messenger.” Those who could not recite the Islamic doctrine were killed. “Are you Muslim? If yes, then recite the Kalma,” victims were told by the Jihadis. “He asked my husband’s name and religion. Then he shot him,” one female survivor testified. Describing the massacre of 26 innocent people, including an American citizen, in a Kashmir meadow as terrorism...

On this day in 1970, Presley formally met Nixon at the White House. The famous photo of the two shaking hands struck a nerve with a number of Presley’s fans at the time, as well as supporters of Nixon. The photo was a pretty big jolt to fans who knew Presley best for his countercultural approach to getting attention: Shaking his hips indecently and performing rock and roll tunes. He had been called everything from “unfit for television” to “a danger to the security of the United States.” He was a countercultural icon for a minute. Nixon, on the other...

The climate change agenda can only be fully if international carbon taxes are implemented on the global population, Saudi Arabian Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan proclaimed at the World Economic Forum meeting this week. During a panel discussion on the “Global Economic Outlook” on Friday during the annual WEF meeting in the Swiss ski resort town of Davos, Al-Jadaan argued that in order to solve the supposed climate crisis, a global carbon tax will be required.

Former President Donald Trump told Breitbart News exclusively that conservative victories in Brazil, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, and more are proof that the “great movement” he leads is spreading worldwide. “The whole thing is a great movement that’s taken place and now it’s happening all over the world,” Trump said in a phone interview on Tuesday. “It’s a very simple movement: Give us borders, give us safe streets, we don’t want crime, give us good education, give us dignity and give us respect as a nation. It’s not complicated.”

How Dare YouMarkets whipsawed yesterday after bad US initial jobless claims and Philly Fed data, with stocks down and bond yields also lower, as was the US dollar. Commodities were a mixed picture, however, and oil prices rose around 5% again from its intra-day low to close over $111. Referring again to a bond yields/commodities matrix, that suggested the Fed falling behind the curve, not getting ahead of it, in crushing demand to fit restrained supply. Lo and behold, we then got the headline, ‘Fed’s George Says ‘Rough’ Market Won’t Alter Fed Tightening Plan’. So, how far down can bond...

Global COVID-19 cases exceeded the grim milestone of 250 million on Monday, according to Reuters, a sign that infections are still on the rise worldwide even as a number of countries begin to scale back restrictions. While cases are still increasing globally, the rate at which they are being reported has slowed. According to a Reuters analysis, the average number of daily cases has dropped by 36 percent over the course of the past three months. More than 50 million people, however, are still being infected with the virus every 90 days, according to the news service's analysis, which is...

Pandemic-driven global trade disruptions and an increasing number of shipping companies abandoning their own vessels over mounting debts including older vessels deemed too costly to repair has led to the rise in the phenomenon of crewmembers simply being abandoned at sea, often left to fend for themselves as they await pay which sometimes never comes. A Friday investigative report in The Wall Street Journal has detailed some of the shocking stories of tanker crew members left adrift after companies abandoned vessels or sold or transferred them, or couldn’t pay mounting debts, while trying to survive oftentimes on little food even...

The world's richest countries signed a landmark global agreement Saturday to confront tax avoidance and make sure that giant tech companies pay their fair share, Britain's treasury chief said. "I'm delighted to announce that G-7 finance ministers today, after years of discussions, have reached a historic agreement to reform the global tax system to make it fit for the global digital age and crucially to make sure that it's fair, so that the right companies pay the right tax in the right places," Sunak said in a video message posted on Twitter. The meeting of finance ministers came ahead of...

Communist regime flooded social media with fake videos and bots to whip up COVID hysteria.Researcher and attorney Michael P. Senger suggests that the Chinese government launched an aggressive propaganda campaign to exaggerate the severity of coronavirus in order to force the rest of the world into a draconian lockdown that would serve to benefit Beijing. In an article for Tablet Magazine, Senger details how in late January, “international COVID-19 hysteria began†with a series of suspicious videos posted to social media sites showing people in China suddenly collapsing on the streets, including one instance where a man held out his arm to break...

Chile’s protests are being viewed as a much bigger economic risk for the world’s largest copper producer than they had been when they first erupted. Chile’s government said it could no longer host a gathering of world leaders at the Nov. 16 APEC summit as well as a climate change summit in December. Chile is viewed as the economic crown jewel of Latin America, and its stock market has lost 9% since the protests began, underscoring the political risks in emerging markets.

As global population increases, life expectancy rises, and living standards improve, causes of death across the world are changing. In this entry we present a global overview of the causes of death. The data visualisations and explainers in the early part of this entry attempt to provide a comparison between causes and risk factors of death across countries and age groups. The sections which then follow explore the empirical data of specific causes in more detail.

I've come across a collection of videos showing epic flood footage taken from all over the world. Of the 5 I watched, some contain portions of footage from other videos (duplicate) but most is unique. The floods are of jaw dropping proportion and are taken from Spain, Italy, Turkey, India, China, New Zealand etc. It's hard to fathom how this flooding has been taken place on such an epic scale but I've not seen the footage anywhere else. Even in my state, there was apparently a "historic" flood a few months ago that I never saw on TV. The footage...

A massive ransomware campaign appears to have infected a number of organisations around the world. Computers in thousands of locations have apparently been locked by a program that demands $300 (£230) in Bitcoin. There have been reports of infections in more than 70 countries, including the UK, US, China, Russia, Spain, Italy and Taiwan. Many security researchers are linking the incidents together. "This is huge," said Jakub Kroustek at Avast. Another, at cyber-security firm Kaspersky, said that the ransomware had been spotted cropping up in 74 countries and that the number was still growing. There were a number of reports...

Hackers using a tool stolen from the United States government conducted extensive cyberattacks on Friday that hit dozens of countries around the world, severely disrupting Britain’s public health system and wreaking havoc on computers elsewhere, including Russia. The tool was leaked by a group calling itself the Shadow Brokers, which has been dumping stolen N.S.A. hacking tools online since last year. Microsoft rolled out a patch for the vulnerability in March, but hackers apparently took advantage of the fact that vulnerable targets — particularly hospitals — had yet to update their systems. The malware was circulated by email. Targets were...
