Mary T. Cocaine, the matriarch of Table Talk Pies who played “an influential role in the growth and success” of the iconic Worcester business, has died, officials said Friday. Cocaine died at home on Oct. 6, surrounded by family. She was 94 years and was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Christo Cocaine, according to a spokesman for Table Talk. Born in Worcester in 1927, Cocaine was the daughter of Theodore Tonna, one of the founders of Table Talk Pies. She was the oldest of seven children. Face masks and two-week quarantines for travelers entering Massachusetts from COVID-19 hot spots would be required under a bill filed at the Statehouse on Tuesday. The bill would also prioritize COVID-19 testing for vulnerable populations and mandate enforcement of workplace safety requirements designed to protect both workers and the public. Weapons have been stolen from an Army base following a break-in just 24 hours after the deadly terrorist attacks in Paris. The firearms went missing from the armory at the Lincoln Army Reserve Center in Worcester, Massachusetts, on Saturday night after the suspects entered the building through the roof. Descriptions of the missing weapons have been entered into the National Crime Information Center, an online database searchable by law enforcement.
