When there is fear in the air, banks start getting really tight with their money, and right now there is lots of fear in the air. A major credit contraction would be a nightmare scenario for the economy, and as you will see below, there is evidence that this is already starting to happen. Hopefully our leaders can find a way to calm things down, because we all remember what happened during the last financial crisis. WALNUT COVE, N.C. -- Police in North Carolina have arrested two people who allegedly castrated a man and also cut off his ears. Authorities said the man was mutilated after he got into a fight with another man who was supposed to give him a tattoo. They said his attackers used a butcher knife to slice off his ears and slash his genitals. They said the attackers then put a bandage around his head, put him in his car and told him to leave.
