WALNUT COVE, N.C. -- Police in North Carolina have arrested two people who allegedly castrated a man and also cut off his ears.
Authorities said the man was mutilated after he got into a fight with another man who was supposed to give him a tattoo. They said his attackers used a butcher knife to slice off his ears and slash his genitals.
They said the attackers then put a bandage around his head, put him in his car and told him to leave. The victim drove to a home and asked the residents to call police.
Police have charged a 29-year-old man and an 18-year-old woman in the attack. Stokes County Sheriff Mike Joyce said Gary Thomas Johnson and Jennifer Arlene Robbins were being held under $75,000 bond each. They were charged with malicious castration assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, kidnapping and maiming of body parts.
The man who was mutilated is listed in stable condition in a Winston-Salem hospital.

"he really WAS tattooed."
Nah, just normal body piercing, a new art form..the attackers should have put a pin or two on the wounds to get off as just body artists..LOL

Is there really a law on the books called "malicious castration assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury, kidnapping and maiming of body parts"? Who had the foresight to write up such a law?

It must have been a problem at some time for them to write a law over it. Makes you wonder what else they left out of our history books at school.

At least it wasn't a hate crime...should help mitigate the penalties when it comes to court.

It would be interesting see all the silly laws on the books.

malicious castration If I ever become separated from my testicles, there will most certainly have been malice involved - and a bunch at that.

Ha! I guess Jeffrey Dahmer would be a good reason for such a law.
