A city council in Wisconsin has issued guidelines to its employees suggesting they do not use red and green decorations in public spaces to mark the Christmas holidays for fear of causing offense. The bizarre suggestion was put forward by Deputy City Administrator Melissa Cantarero Weiss in an email under the instruction of City Administrator James Archambo. In the email Weiss encouraged city workers to adopt 'inclusive decorating practices' in how Wauwatosa's municipal buildings are decorated over the holiday season including using more 'winter themed' decorations such as snowflakes or 'snow people'. The message specifically urges employees to choose more...

Welcome to this weekend unplugged I come to the table with a busy day ahead of me that will limit the posting with a large gap...... God has a "Top Ten" list and racism isn't on it but lust is and the pandemic of lust looms large although Dr. Fauci isn't dealing with this problem and that's not his area of endeavor. God Bless the memory of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. he had a batting average on racism but struck out every time when it came to his lust. I need to stop giving God the orders and start...

Black Lives Matter mobs protesting in Wisconsin over the decision not to charge a black cop for fatally shooting a gun-firing teen turned their rage on innocent homeowners — lobbing rocks through windows on a residential street. Troubling video showed up to a dozen people running up to homes in Wauwatosa, the sound of breaking glass and celebratory horn blasts as they repeatedly hurl heavy objects through windows. “That’s people’s houses!” at least one distressed-sounding woman screamed, as others tried to get the rampaging mob to stop, as filmed by Julio Rosas, a reporter for the conservative publication Townhall. “That’s...

With the race for governor hanging in the balance, Milwaukee County Clerk George Christenson said his office still had more than 45,000 uncounted ballots shortly after midnight Wednesday. Christenson said his office had just received 7,800 ballots from Wauwatosa, which were delayed because of a problem with a computer modem. Officials were reconciling those numbers and would soon release the totals. Christenson said he was still waiting to receive 45,000 outstanding absentee ballots from the City of Milwaukee. Milwaukee city officials put the figure even higher, saying the outstanding votes total 47,000. That amount includes 36,000 in-person absentee ballots and...

Nothing is more obnoxious than calling someone a liar just because they disagree with you. Unless of course, it is true. And it is getting harder and harder to describe the recent black mob violence near Milwaukee without using the word L-word aimed directly at reporters and public officials who ignore, deny and try to wish it away. The latest case happened Saturday night in the Milwaukee suburb of Wauwatosa. Every year, they have a Tosa Fest, complete with ring tosses, pretzel booths, and this year, a free outdoor movie, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs II. It is supposed...

WAUWATOSA — Demonstrations rarely get more intimate than this. About 20 protesters gathered outside Gov. Scott Walker’s Wauwatosa home Tuesday and chanted a gender neutral message, so to speak: “Focus on jobs, not our vaginas.” The demonstration was in response to a Republican-led bill that would require any woman wanting an abortion to first have an ultrasound. “One thing I know you won’t find in women’s vaginas is 250,000 jobs,” said Jennifer Epps-Addison, referencing Walker’s 2010 campaign pledge to create a quarter-million jobs in his first term. Democrats have derided the governor for, to date, falling well short of that...

For about three hours, a large crowd stood on packed snow and ice to show they were standing with the governor during the first large Republican rally of the recall season. A coalition of Democrats, unions and a grass-roots organization...

A melee at a Kmart store in Wauwatosa Saturday morning was started by a computer glitch. The store was running a promotion in which it would give away $10 to anyone applying for its credit card, but the computer glitch led to everyone's application being granted -- bestowing up to $4,000 in instant credit to anyone who applied even if they shouldn't have qualified. Once word started to spread about the so-called "free money" Saturday, witnesses said things got pretty nuts inside the Wauwatosa store. "They were having a big fight. Two ladies was jumping a lady over credit cards,"...
