An FBI spokesperson told the press that agents were conducting “court-authorized law enforcement” at Thao’s property. The focus of the investigation is on David Duong, CEO of California Waste Solutions, and his son, Andy Duong. Both have deep-seated ties to Democratic politicians and businesses, NBC Bay Area reported. Their business dealings and...

A Texas city has been flooded with mountains of plastic waste that hasn't been touched in a year and a half as the facility continues to fail fire inspections. Wright Waste Management, located 20 miles outside of downtown Houston, has hundreds of pounds of plastic trash just sitting behind a locked gate. The garbage hasn't been touched in more than a year and a half, according to CBS News. TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — An 83-year-old Port Charlotte man who was trapped under a golf cart for several hours was rescued by an unlikely duo — two Waste Management workers. An appropriate bookend to yesterday's post , which mentioned the aspiring Speaker's "crumbs" comment, an instant Pelosi classic. Throughout the tax reform debate, liberals pounded the table insisting that corporate tax cuts would not benefit workers or consumers -- just fat cat shareholders and executives. But much like they were disastrously wrong about how much tax reform would benefit working and middle income households, they've also been proven wrong on the corporate side, as literally millions of Americans workers have already received bonuses, wage increases, improved bonuses and other concrete benefits. (Incidentally, if you missed it earlier, this clip...

Al Gore’s campaign against global warming is shifting into high gear. Reporters and commentators follow his every move and bombard the public with notice of his activities and opinions. But while the mainstream media promote his ideas about the state of planet Earth, they are mostly silent about the dramatic impact his economic proposals would have on America. And journalists routinely ignore evidence that he may personally benefit from his programs. Would the romance fizzle if Gore’s followers realized how much their man stands to gain? Earlier this year Gore experienced a notable public relations debacle. The Tennessee Center for...

MESA, Ariz. - Nearly 100 employees of a trash collecting company in Phoenix have filed a lawsuit, alleging that people were videotaped while using the restroom. Waste Management lawyer Michael Manning said there was videorecording equipment in the men's restroom of the company's building but it was to catch vandals and drug users at night. He said nobody ever watched the recordings unless there were signs of vandalism or drug use in the restroom first, which there were none after the equipment was installed. Manning said the lawsuit is an attempt by union organizers to malign the national trash collection...
