Every time you think CNN can’t drop any lower, somehow, they manage to do it. In the case of the brutal murder of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, CNN’s Brian Stelter seems to think that the real tragedy in this situation is racism, specifically, the racism of Trump supporters for noticing this crime. This is a new low for him, which is really saying something. Transcript via Real Clear Politics:

[VIDEO AT LINK.............] Trump is taking more interest in a story about the savage slaughter of a young woman than the entire media class was, which is odd, seeing how VERY interested they were in covering the Penny self-defense case. While obviously, any murder is a horrific injustice, we have different categories in our minds for an emotional outburst that flares up into irreversible acts of violence, as opposed to the random selecting of an unsuspecting stranger for the purpose of unprovoked violence. Here is Trump being asked about a violent attack in August that the news has said little...

Horrific footage of a career criminal stabbing a Ukrainian refugee from behind on a North Carolina train has prompted a national uproar - but you won't find it on any liberal media websites. The crazed attacker can be seen lunging at Zarutska from behind, before the footage skips the graphic slaughter to show him carrying a knife dripping with blood as he walked through the train carriage and another passenger sprinted away.

Rep. Randy Fine (R-FL) announced on Sunday that he is going to introduce legislation to hold soft-on-crime judges accountable if they release a violent criminal back to the street and the criminal commits more crimes. The proposed legislation would “hold judges accountable when violent repeat offenders they release commit new crimes,” he said. This comes after 34-year-old Decarlos Brown Jr. murdered 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska last month by stabbing her multiple times in the Charlotte, North Carolina, light rail station. Surveillance video from the incident shows Brown, unprovoked, stabbing Zarutska from the seat behind her on the light rail,...

Horrific footage captured the moment a madman fatally stabbed a Ukrainian refugee from behind as she sat on a train in North Carolina. The sickening attack unfolded on August 22, soon after Iryna Zarutska, 23, boarded a South End light rail train in Charlotte. Cops identified the stabber as homeless man Decarlos Brown Jr., 35, who has a lengthy rap sheet, including an arrest for assaulting his sister. He was seen in the footage watching Zarutska for some time after she sat in the seat in front of him, eventually taking out what appeared to be a blade from his...

Mayor Vi Lyles of Charlotte, North Carolina just issued the most vile, pathetic statement I’ve ever read in response to the gruesome murder of a young woman on a train in the city. For some background, we reported on the full story of the demonic attack right here: -snip The murder was committed by a 34-year-old black, homeless ex-con named Decarlos Brown Jr. In Mayor Lyles' statement, she all but took his side. Not once did she mention the victim, a Ukrainian refugee who had fled the war, Iryna Zarutska, by name. Instead, she focused on the poor murderer's mental...

A North Carolina city has approved a measure declaring itself a "Fourth Amendment Workplace" and boosting protections for illegal immigrant workers targeted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). The Durham City Council passed the resolution on Tuesday with a unanimous vote to shield city workers against raids and arrests carried out by federal officials, according to The Duke Chronicle. The Fourth Amendment protects citizens against unreasonable searches and arrests, and requires warrants with probable cause of a crime before seizing a person or property. The resolution instructs city staff to "uphold the 4th amendment at their workplace and city...

Democrat North Carolina Governor Josh Stein broke his deafening silence on the senseless and unprovoked murder of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska by 34-year-old Decarlos Brown Jr. on the Charlotte light rail. After posting his statement on X and using the moment to push his political agenda, suggesting that his budget proposal will fix the issue and calling on the legislature to pass it, Stein got hit with a brutal Community Note on X, calling him out for avoiding the real issue. He attempted to claim that incidents like this are “why my budget calls for more funding to hire...

CHARLOTTE, NC — Democratic lawmakers responded to the fatal stabbing of a Ukrainian refugee aboard the Charlotte light rail by condemning all stabbing victims for inflating crime numbers. Furthermore, Democrats are calling on stabbing victims to stop dying, arguing that their deaths make soft on crime policies look soft on crime. "If you're going to be stabbed to death, at least make it look like an accident," Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles urged her citizens. "Stabbing arrests unfairly affect minority communities, so we really need to take it easy on causing a fuss when we get stabbed." "It's what Dr. King...

As Americans fought in recent weeks over whether restaurants should refuse to serve top aides to President Trump, an entire city has been debating what it means to host his convention for reelection. Charlotte won the rights to the 2020 Republican National Convention on Friday. But that's largely because it faced little serious competition. And even before the victory was announced in Austin, Texas, this thriving, progressive urban island in the Trump-friendly South was suffering some buyer's remorse. Charlotte Mayor Vi Lyles, a Democrat, says the decision to host the convention was the hardest she has tackled — "not just...
