There seems to be a clash of views within the ABC daytime talk show "The View" over the hyper-political coverage it has become known for. The Daily Beast reported about an apparent rift between the ladies of "The View" and the top brass at the company, going all the way up to Disney CEO Bob Iger, about a desire for the hosts to cool off the politics. Notably, all six of the co-hosts (Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Sara Haines, Alyssa Farah Griffin and Ana Navarro) voted for Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election and are outspoken critics...

"The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg said Wednesday that President Donald Trump didn't represent America in an address to viewers from other countries, as she promised the hosts would continue to complain about the administration's policies. "All you countries who watch us, this is not our wish," Goldberg said as her co-hosts emphatically agreed. "This is not what the American people want. We don’t like it. We don’t like how it’s being – we don’t like how this is being done. That’s why you will hear us kvetching about this as long as we are able, because no one we’re talking...

US Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) sent “The View” host Sunny Hostin into a tizzy Monday when he asserted that President Trump’s New York City “hush money” trial had been politically motivated. Appearing on the far-left ABC chat show in his trademark hoodie, Fetterman started out by covering a wide range of topics with the hosts, from Hunter Biden to Trump’s pardon of the Jan. 6 rioters. The first-term senator had already rankled his fellow Democrats by visiting Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month — a meeting he called “overall, a positive experience” on “The View,” adding that he felt the...

President Joe Biden’s final report card is in and it doesn’t read well for the departing Democrat. Americans have a darker view of the octogenarian’s tenure than they did at the end of predecessors Donald Trump’s first term or Barack Obama’s second, a poll released Friday finds. Around one-quarter of U.S. adults said Biden was a “good” or “great” president, with less than one in 10 saying he was “great,” according to the survey from The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research. Tellingly for the Democrat octogenarian, many members of his own party seeing his presidency as underwhelmingly mediocre.

"The View" co-host Sunny Hostin claimed that President-elect Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign didn't discuss high egg prices during the latest episode of the daytime ABC talk show. While expressing frustration over voters prioritizing kitchen table issues over Trump’s alleged threat to democracy, Hostin declared that Trump didn’t even talk about core economic issues – such as the price of eggs – during his campaign. "Most people are saying, ‘Well this was a kitchen table issue, this was about the cost of eggs.' Donald Trump never talked about the price of eggs," Hostin said on Tuesday. Despite Hostin’s allegation, Trump spoke...

On Wednesday’s (November 6) live show, the cohosts of The View had a lot of reflecting to do after the 2024 presidential election was called in favor of Donald Trump. Most of the panelists were dressed in black to match the funereal mood of the moment, but some still tried to offer optimism. While on the verge of tears, Joy Behar said, “My takeaway is that the system worked. We live in a democracy. People spoke. This is what people wanted. I vehemently disagreed with the decision that the people made, but I feel very, very hopeful that we have...

Hollywood-controlled media are rolling out the red carpet for Kamala Harris this week, welcoming the Democrat presidential candidate to a range of friendly media appearances as part of a planned offensive to enhance her likeability in the final stretch of the election cycle. Kamala Harris is set to appear on ABC’s The View, where hosts including Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg have regularly sung her praises; CBS’ late-night show with Stephen Colbert, another ally; and Howard Stern, who recently called Trump supporters “stupid.” The aforementioned shows are all known for their soft-ball questions when it comes to Democrat politicians, seldom...

Caroline Giuliani, daughter of former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, said Friday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former president Donald Trump was like a “disease.” Host Nicolle Wallace said, “Trump has sort of turned up the toxicity in America is to divide families along these fault lines where the things that you may hold most dear and precious, your own family or your safety, are threatened by someone you love to pieces, supporting the very person that threatens you. What do you think Trump’s allure is and maybe it is just simply the power, but what do you think it...

The View is set to make history on Wednesday. The ladies will welcome the first-ever sitting president to the show for a live interview when Joe Biden appears later this week. Whoopi Goldberg first announced the news during today’s broadcast. “We have some wonderful news,” she began. “You want me to tell you? I have a historic announcement: This Wednesday, we are honored to have the sitting President of the United States Joe Biden, [who] will be live on The View with us.” Her announcement was met with whoops and cheers in the audience, and Goldberg was sure to add,...

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will appear on ABC’s “The View” on Tuesday, days after President Biden’s decision to drop out of the 2024 presidential race. The daytime table talk program will host Jean-Pierre for her first interview since Biden announced on Sunday his withdrawal and decision to back Vice President Harris as a potential replacement for the Democratic Party’s nominee. In the days leading to his exiting the race, Biden and his top White House aides faced intensifying questions about the president’s mental health and acuity following a shaky debate performance against former President Trump late last month....

In recent years, conservatives and many moderates have become increasingly appalled by the sheer amount of partisan defamation emanating from the co-hosts of The View, who mock, slander, and baselessly impugn the motivations of Republicans and other conservative-leaning Americans on a near-daily basis. From comparing Republican policies and rhetoric to those of Nazi Germany to stating that conservative women are like cockroaches voting for insecticide, to condemning Kansas City Chiefs football star Harrison Butker’s Catholic faith as “extremist” and “cultlike,” the ladies of The View have no shortage of anti-conservative vitriol—and the American people have taken note. Behind the scenes,...

"The View" co-hosts admitted on Monday that they were concerned about President Biden's re-election chances, as polls show him trailing Donald Trump in key battleground states. "I'm concerned," co-host Sunny Hostin said. "When you look at these stats, it’s very clear that Biden is actually worse off now six months from the election than [Barack] Obama was and when Bill Clinton was." Hostin noted Biden's disapproval ratings were higher than both former President Obama and Clinton's were, but added it was ultimately "up to the American people," and that they were still six months out from Election Day.

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Pskai has no issue with President Joe Biden's seeming disinterest in doing press conferences, saying he should entertain the ladies of The View instead. Biden has given just 89 total interviews and three press conferences in his first three years in office, a noted dip from former President Donald Trump's first three years, where he gave 300 interviews and 54 press conferences. The current president has chosen alternative media of late, appearing on The Howard Stern Show and the popular Smartless podcast. Psaki was appearing herself on the daily ABC gabfest and asked about...

U.S. — In a landmark decision, the entire cast of The View has voted to overturn the Supreme Court's overturning of the Colorado Supreme Court's decision to remove Trump from the ballot. "These Supreme Court justices are schmucks!" exclaimed beloved TV personality and law expert Joy Behar after receiving word of the ruling. "Everyone knows the Constitution, or the Declaration of Freedom — or whatever that piece of paper is called — clearly states that Trump should never be on the ballot. Because he's clearly a fascist. Duh! Everyone knows that!" Sources say that hosts Behar, along with entertainer Whoopi...

More than half of U.S. adults have a favorable view of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), as the health care measure used by millions of Americans continues to gain popularity, according to a poll released Wednesday. The survey, released by health policy research group KFF, found that 59 percent of U.S. adults had a favorable view of the ACA, though respondents differed along party lines on what they would like to see done with the law. More than three-quarters of Democratic voters — 77 percent — want the next presidential administration and Congress to expand the law, while 39 percent...

"The View" host Sunny Hostin was shocked to discover her family's hidden history in a new episode of the PBS documentary show, "Finding Your Roots." The documentary show researches prominent figures' family histories through historical records and DNA testing. On the February 6 episode, show host Henry Louis Gates Jr. revealed one of Hostin's ancestors on her maternal side was likely involved in the slave trade in colonial Spain. Her third great-grandfather also "owned at least one human being," he said.

ABC’s The View led Friday’s show with news about the manhunt for the mass shooting suspect in Maine, but quickly turned to statements that have been made by elected officials. And then co-host Joy Behar turned to the greatest inspiration of some of those elected officials, who publicly disagreed with them — former President Ronald Reagan. After showing a clip of Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) stating that mass shootings are a problem of “the human heart” and “not guns,” the audience booed before Behar went back to “Saint Ronald Reagan,” the former Republican president who remains one of the greatest...

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., gloated about his censure during an appearance on “The View” Thursday and said he was “doing pretty damn well.” Co-host Whoopi Goldberg asked Schiff about the censure and argued there were a lot of other things House Republicans could be doing. He told the hosts that the GOP goes after people they think are “effective.”

Monday on ABC’s “The View,” Ana Navarro led her co-hosts and audience in a “na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye” chant after news broke that Fox News and Tucker Carlson have ended their business relationship. Co-host Whoopi Goldberg said, “Welcome back, word has come down that Fox News media and Tucker have agreed to part ways.”

"The View" co-hosts fumed over CBS' Lesley Stahl and said she didn't push back enough during her interview with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene on Monday. "I don't think it legitimizes her any more than her words embarrassed her but I actually in this instance think it was a bad move for ‘60 Minutes,’" co-host Sara Haines said. Co-host Ana Navarro claimed people were upset over the interview because many hold "60 Minutes" and Lesley Stahl to a "high level" and that the interview was unexpected. Haines argued CBS was giving her a "louder microphone than she deserved or has earned"...
