The program was meant to help students “[a]nalyze, synthesize, and apply a broad range of theories of, and methodologies for, the critical study of diversity and inclusion, including how diversity and inclusion change in varied historical and social contexts.” Courses that were a part of the minor included “Gender, Sexuality, and Society,” “Diversity and Security,” and “Gender and Sexuality in History.”

Before it was seemingly scrubbed, the minor included classes like ‘Topics in Gender History’ and ‘Social Inequality.’. West Point was sued in November over its efforts to allegedly hide its DEI programs.. ... The United States Military Academy at West Point in New York appears to have ended its “Diversity and Inclusion Studies” minor. “West Point has ended its ‘Diversity and Inclusion Studies’ minor,” wrote former Department of Education Press and current spokesperson from the Defense of Freedom Institute Angela Morabito in a Wednesday X post. Morabito, a former fellow at Campus Reform, posted side-by-side pictures of the West Point...

Perhaps it was the way he carried himself in an unassuming and humble manner, but day after day hundreds of Air Force Academy cadets would pass this janitor in the hall oblivious to the greatness that was among them. In the mid-1970s, William Crawford might spend one day sweeping the halls and another cleaning the bathrooms, but it was a day approximately 30 years prior that would create for him a special place in the history of war. In 1943 in Italy, the only thing Private William Crawford was cleaning out was German machine gun nest and bunkers.

Leftists have gone on the attack against the U.S. Air Force Academy football team for honoring the WWII Doolittle Raid on Japan that occurred immediately after the Japanese sneak attack on Pearl Harbor. On Tuesday, Air Force Football revealed its new uniforms, which feature a tribute to the Doolittle Raid. Left-wing trolls blasted the Air Force for celebrating the raid conducted by American heroes who showed Japan that the U.S. was not down for the count after taking such heavy losses at Pearl.

Air Force Academy Superintendent Lt. Gen. Richard Clark could not define the term “demigender” when asked this week in Congress to defend the Academy supporting a fellowship opportunity for “demigender” people.

Former President Donald Trump on the campaign trail in Iowa Thursday expressed sympathy for President Joe Biden upon learning that he fell after delivering the commencement speech at the Air Force Academy. “He actually fell down? Well I hope he wasn’t hurt. I hope he wasn’t hurt,” Trump said after being told. He then recalled his own concerns of falling after the delivering a commencement speech at the West Point in 2021.

Air Force cadets are being told to address people in ways that “include all genders” — dropping the use of “boyfriend or girlfriend” and even “mom and dad.” Diversity and inclusion (D&I) training at the Air Force Academy in Colorado includes instruction on how to “use inclusive language,” according to documents shared by Fox News Digital. “Use words that include all genders,” the training material tells cadets, warning them to “ask” people what they “call themselves” rather than assuming. Instead of saying “you guys,” cadets are told to use gender-neutral terms like “team,” “squaddies,” “folks” and even “y’all.” “Some families...

It had been a long time since I had visited my alma mater, the U.S. Air Force Academy, so I decided to bite the bullet and travel to my 30th reunion last October. I must admit, I did so with trepidation. I have a love/hate relationship with the place. Although I received a fantastic education and met some lifelong friends, it’s a nice place to visit, if you know what I mean. I will say that I received top-notch military training and discipline when I went through three decades ago. In fact, the discipline that was drilled into me has...

The Air Force Academy has seen a huge year-on-year drop in the number of applicants interested in attending the service academy, amid a historic military recruiting crisis and a drive to boost diversity on campus.

They will not be commissioned as long as they are unvaccinated.Three Air Force Academy cadets may very well have sacrificed their military careers and may have to repay the U.S. government for their education after refusing to get vaccinated for the novel coronavirus (Covid-19). While the cadets will receive bachelor’s degrees when they graduate from the Air Force Academy on Wednesday, they will not be commissioned as long as they remain unvaccinated, Lolita Baldor of the Associated Press first reported. “A decision to reimburse the United States for education costs in lieu of service will be made by the Secretary...

Military codes of conduct that prescribe honorable behavior date back thousands of years and are essential for maintaining trust, camaraderie, and discipline within the armed forces. Yet over the past fifty years, cadets at the Air Force Academy have demonstrated a diminishing respect for the Honor Code, which has fallen victim to the moral relativism that blurs the distinction between ethical and unethical behaviors and contributed to a precipitous drop in retention rates and overall military readiness. The Air Force Academy Honor Code is concise and unambiguous: “We will not lie, steal, or cheat, nor tolerate among us anyone who...

A member of the Air Force Academy Board of Visitors has sued over Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin suspending the board, claiming it prevented vital oversight, including over the potential introduction of critical race theory in the university curriculum. The board is one of 42 Defense Department advisory committees that Mr. Austin suspended to consider their “continued utilization,” according to a Pentagon memorandum. The Air Force Academy board or AFA BOV remains shut down despite passing Mr. Austin’s April 30 deadline to complete the review.Board member Heidi Stirrup, who was appointed by then-President Trump in December, asked the U.S. District Court for the...

In 2007, Mark Milley, then a mere colonel, was being interviewed about his experiences by Lynne Chandler Garcia. Now Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Milley is defending critical race theory while Garcia, an associate professor at the Air Force Academy, teaches it. The woman described by one student as "the worst professor I've had" back when she was teaching logic for the philosophy department at a community college recently came forward with a Washington Post op-ed announcing her enthusiasm for injecting Marxism into the Air Force. "I teach critical race theories to our nation’s future military leaders because...

The United States Air Force Academy, my alma mater, has suffered from an obvious leadership problem for some time. During my 30th reunion several years ago, my classmates and I noticed a marked change at our beloved institution – the focus on training warriors to defend the nation was gone. In its place was a focus on buildings, big athletics, and ‘diversity’ (we came to find out later except diversity in political ideas). I confronted then Superintendent Lt Gen Michelle Johnson at the reunion about the lack of discipline, the lack of focus on a warrior culture, even the lack...

A United States Air Force Academy Professor has argued Critical Race Theory should be taught to all cadets so that they can understand how the United States was 'shaped by racism.' Political scientist Lynne Chandler García said the Constitution brought about 'inequality' and that George Washington was a racist. She argued that the history of the U.S. proved that 'racism has shaped both foreign and domestic policy.' Garcia, who teaches the Marxist theory at the USAF Academy in Colorado Springs, said she agreed with the Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Mark Milley who recently told Congress that Critical Race...

The Air Force Academy is easing up on social distancing restrictions following two suicides that occurred less than a week after the measures were implemented to prevent the spread of the Wuhan coronavirus, The Colorado Springs Gazette reported on Tuesday. In the wake of the ongoing pandemic, the academy had sent freshman, sophomores, and juniors home but kept nearly 1,000 seniors on campus in an effort to push the students to graduation with just a few weeks left in the school year. The remaining students were separated across vacated dorm rooms with strict rules to keep the virus from rapidly spreading...

The Air Force Academy is redoubling efforts to offer mental health care to students after the deaths of two senior cadets on the campus in less than a week. The deaths, in incidents on Thursday and Saturday, are thought to be suicides, several people familiar with them told The Gazette, asking that their names not be used because they were not authorized to reveal that information. The academy confirmed the seniors died weeks before graduation amid a campus-wide lockdown, and neither was caused by coronavirus or foul play. “These tragedies have caused incredible shock and pain throughout our USAFA family,”...
